You’ve led your company to many firsts.

Here’s another one you won’t want to miss.

Innovators are first
First with new ideas that change the world. First to open the door to new ways of doing things. First to
experience the things that make history. Today, your chance to be first has come.

In June, South Africa will host the 2010 Soccer World Cup. It is a first for Africa and a great opportunity for us
to present South Africa’s most innovative achievements to the world, beginning with Soccer City, the stadium
that will host the opening match scheduled for 11 June 2010.

The new 95 000 seater stadium holds many innovations for both players and spectators. Its unique design is an
architectural triumph, while an advanced system of technological innovations allow for all systems to be
centrally controlled. All this, while still ensuring the stadium’s green credentials lead the way for the rest of the
world to follow. This “Smart Stadium” is truly a great South African example of Innovation at its best!

We invite you to join Dr Phil Samuel, Chief Innovation Officer of BMGI Corporation, for a hands-on innovation
workshop to discover the exceptional power of structured innovation. The workshop will take place in the VVIP
Presidential Suite at Soccer City Stadium on 20 April 2010.

Dr Phil Samuel, will be facilitating companies through a selection of innovation tools from the book
he co-authored, The Innovator’s Toolkit. Innovation has never been this practical before! Think of it
as attending a Microsoft workshop and being coached by Bill Gates. You have much to gain from attending,
and if taking your business to the next level is a priority, then this hands-on workshop is a must.

With a PH.D in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in Canada, Dr Phil has worked with
clients in aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, healthcare, retail and pharmaceutical industries. He is also a
published author with his books continuing to lead idea generators across the globe.

About the book

- Published by John Wiley & Sons Publishing

Success with organic growth takes a lot more than ideas,

or even great ideas. It takes galvanizing leadership and a
sustainable growth engine. It takes deep understanding
of key concepts and a robust managerial process. It also
takes a groundswell of employees who can skillfully apply
all the necessary techniques and tools of innovation –
not just the mind-expanding ones.

The Innovator's Toolkit is for those who are interested in

the big picture of organic growth and want to become
innovation-elite organisations, as well as for those who
need to execute a single innovation project. The book
includes 50+ proven techniques organised into four
sections that follow a repeatable innovation methodol-
ogy. This approach, dubbed D4, enables readers to
approach innovation projects in a systematic manner,
making a successful outcome highly probable.
