1- For Ph.D. Entrance Test candidate has to login university website uprtou.ac.inforfilling
the online entranceform.
2- Candidate has to fill the entrance test form and pay the fee through e-chalan /Net
banking/Debit card/credit cardetc.
3- Candidate can download his admit card before one week from the date of EntranceTest by
the university website www.uprotu.ac.in
4- After the declaration of entrance test result the candidate qualified for admission asper
the prescribed norms, had to again login university website and fill the admissionform
accordingly.

2. Eligibility:
A candidate who has qualified for the award of the masters Degree
ofanyUniversityoranyotherqualificationrecognizedasequivalenttheretoinsuch fieldofstudy
as notified for this purpose form time to time by the University will be eligibleto register
for Ph.D. programmes provided he/she has secured at least 55% marks
(50%inthecaseofSC/STcandidates)oragradeequivalentthereto,atexaminationsleadingto
such a degree/qualification.
3. EntranceTest:
There shall be one paper in Ph.D. Entrance Test containing twosectionsSection A: 10 Short AnswerQuestions:

aptitude, general awareness /knowledge etc. which an average P.G. Degreeholder
