En la vida real existen muchas ms problemas que dependen de su solucin de dos o ms variables. por ejemplo,
la presin que ejerce un fluido sobre las paredes del recipiente que lo contiene depende de la cantidad y
temperatura del fluido y del volumen del recipiente. la fuerza de atraccin dedos cuerpos en el espacio depende
de la masa de cada uno de ellos y de la distancia entre ambos. el rendimiento real de una inversin depende del
tipo y la tasa de inters, del capital inicial, del plazo, incluso del porcentaje de inflacin y de la fluctuacin de la
moneda en la que est hecha la inversin.
El volumen de una caja, v, depende del largo, x , del ancho, y , y de z la altura de la caja. los costos de una
empresa que fabrica dos tipos de artculos dependen de la cantidad de artculos de tipo I y la cantidad de
artculos de tipo II que produce. la temperatura que tiene un gas depende del volumen que ocupa y de su
presin.
