Dear Student Body,

I am very pleased with how awesome this year is going,
and I cant believe that the first quarter is ending. We have
had an eventful quarter so far with homecoming, fundraisers
for organizations, and the beginnings and endings for some
of our sports teams. I think homecoming was a success with
a unique theme and everyone participating in the fun dress
up days.
I know a lot of students are stressed about classes and
homework because I know I am, but Im hoping that everything will calm down as we get closer to Christmas, which
I know everyone is already counting down for. (; I believe
that next semester will be even better than this one! So, I
just wanted to say thanks for being such wonderful people
to be around and helping me enjoy my last year here at Rock
Port as Student Body President.
From your Student Body President,
Jade V. Lemmon

Correction: Last week we accidentally identified Daytona Paris by the wrong name. We
apologize.
Nowadays, it seems like technology constantly advances. Just
when you think you are up-to-date on the newest technology trend,
they come out with a better and more expensive item. The iPhone
6s has been the talk of the month. But so many people, like myself, are asking themselves if paying the $350 is actually worth it.
Whats so great about the iPhone 6s that I cant already do on my
old iPhone? Well, if you have seen the recent Apple commercial,
you will find there are a lot of new features that may or may not be
useful to you. The first new feature that has caught the eye of buyers is the new exterior colors offered with the iPhone 6s. 3D touch
is also a new favorite. Basically, the iPhone 6s is able to recognize
three different levels of pressure. This allows you to perform different actions based on the pressure you apply to the screen. There
are many other features that are offered with the new iPhone that
may be worth looking at if you are still contemplating the purchase.
