Negative Form

Question Form

To make,
a negative sentence in simple past
tense,
use did not + Verb 1.

To make,
a question in simple past tense,
use did + Subject + Verb 1.

Example:

Example:
1. Did we get much profit this
year ?
Yes, we did.
No we didnt.
2. Did the police suspect him ?
Yes, they did.
