Certifying Parenting Educators across New York State

committee formed an ad hoc committee to begin formulating a process in which parenting
educators across the state of NY could become certified. The committee hopes to have this
process sufficiently evolved to launch a pilot to certify their first cohort of parenting
educators in December 2010. Representatives of Certification Committee will give an
overview of this process and a preliminary outline of what will be required to certify at four
