2. COMMITMENT VS. ABSENCES

The President challenged the members, "Where is the commitment?


A member must do the responsibilities he/she is tasked to do
All official members AY 2013- 2014, that is, the ones that have filled up
registration form, are obliged to attend regular meetings, more importantly,
special meetings and observance of weekly contribution (Php 5.00) as stated on
the Club's Ethics. Otherwise, be sanctioned as follows:
Type of Offense
1st Offense:

with one absence with official notice


Verbal warning (President and/ or the Vice President)
2nd Offense: with 2-5 absences without official notice
Written explanation addressed to the President and Adviser
3rd Offense:
with 6-7 absences without official notice

4th Offense: 8-9 absences without official notice
Temporary Suspension from Club's activities and privileges
5th Offense: 10 absences without official notice
Termination of Membership
Under justifiable grounds, all records of absences and non-conformities
will be reset
English Club aims to partake on total discipline and character
management that shoul start from the members. A punishment, may it
be an explanation or penalty, shall guide to be kept aligned on the
Club's objectives. Big responsibilities will be possible only to
accomplish if smaller responsibilities, such as punctuality and
diligence, will be observed first.
4. NEW REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE
Regular meeting is transferred from Mondays, 11am-12nn to Tuesdays, 01 pm02 pm, Room 202
This is to adapt on conflicting vacant scheduled of the members.

A. Short- Term
1. Action Plan 1: Quiz Bee Competition
2. Title and Description:

In celebration of the 6th Founding Anniversary of the City College of Calapan


on March 12, 2014, the English Club would be hosting Quiz Bee Competition.

It would be titled, the "First War of the Wits Interdepartmental Quiz Bee
Competition" with participants from seven (7) departments.

Questions would come from English, Mathematics, Science, History, General


Information, and about the City College of Calapan.

The competition would be divided into Easy, Average, and Difficult Categories

No fees shall be collected

3. Awards and Incentives

Top three participants who accumulated highest points throughout the


competition will be receiving medals, size and color varies according to their
respective places.

All participants shall be receiving Certificate of Participation

All participants shall be having snacks during the competition.

Task/s:
o Prepares list of questions from English, Math, Science, General
Information, History and about the City College of Calapan (5
questions per category)
o Updates all necessities and communication letters regarding the
tournament
o Reads the questions, mechanics, and general rules during the
competition
o Facilitates and oversees the tournament and ensures everything will
be on place

Task/s
Facilitates and supervises all the technical aspects and materials
that will be needed in the competition including LCD projector,
laptop, calculators, tabulation boards, timers, and the like.
