Precautions:
Maintenance of the monitor must be performed by technical personnel who have been trained on
professional technology and have mastered the maintenance knowledge.
To prevent electrical hazard, do not handle the monitor in high temperature, high voltage, gas
fumigation, or soaking in liquid, cut of the main power before cleaning or sterilizing the monitor.
If the monitor is wetted accidentally during the operation or maintenance, please stop it and clean
and dry the affected parts.
While replacing the fuse, please replace with the fuse of the same specification and the same
rated current.
Before practical operation of the system, check all the cable connections for damage, and replace
the damaged cable and joints immediately. Before using the system, the operation must check
the system for correction working situation and operation condition.
If the monitor is not stored and used according to the stipulated environment conditions,
performance and precision of the system may be affected.
If the icon of alarm bell or sound switch is marked with X, there will be no sound alarming under
any circumstance.
Do not rely on the sound alarm system of the patient monitoring only. During the monitoring, when
the alarm volume is turned down or closed, the medical care personnel may not be notified when
the patient is dangerous. Please remember, the most reliable monitoring method is to combine
close personnel monitoring with correct operation of the monitoring equipment.
After connecting the monitor to the central monitoring system, please check the alarm system for
normal function.
When the monitor is connected with external equipments, the equipment shall accord with the
electric leakage indicator of IEC 60601-1 standard to prevent possible dangerous electric
leakage.
When the monitor is used continuously for a long time, please connect it to network power supply.
Please connect the monitor to network power supply as soon as the power down alarm rings
when using battery, otherwise, the monitor will be closed automatically to cause monitoring
interruption.
Wireless LAN equipment contains built-in RF radiator which may interrupt other medical
equipments including patient implanting equipments. Before installation and connecting new
medical equipment to the coverage of wireless LAN, please perform electromagnetic
compatibility test according to the instructions of Installation and Maintenance Manual for
Wireless LAN System.
The electrodes of lead shall not connect with other conductors and ground.
When the monitor is used with defibrillator, use special defibrillating leads to protect discharging
efficiency of the cardiac defibrillator, and during the defibrillating, do not touch the patient, leads,
instrument, and the table of placing the instrument.

2.1.4 Keyboard
The keyboard of MMED6000DP-M7 monitor includes: keyboard identification circuit, function control circuit and driving circuit. This section
introduces the operating principle of the keyboard in detail.
The keyboard is fixed on the front shell and has six keys, S2, S4, S5, S7 and S8 and the input S1 of the knob coder. The keyboard adopts
Atmega48 single chip produced by ATMEL Company as the processing core to accomplish the function of keyboard scanning, charging control,
key code data sending and receiving, and indicator driving through related peripheral circuit.
Signals from the key-press and knob are transmitted to the main board after being identified by the single chip through the serial interface. The
sound and alarm are controlled by the single chip according to the serial interface data received from the main board. The keyboard sends
control signals to the power panel through P6 and P3. P5 is the temperature sensor wire which is connected to power panel P12. P2 is the
interface of function indicator, and P4 is the serial interface of keyboard.

Task design
Data division task: revert the data recieved by the serial interfaces to original real data and put the data to corresponding data region, such
as waveform data region, parameter data region, and status data region.
Data processing task: accomplish computation of the parameters and alarm for distinguishing, if there is any alarm, the system forms an
alarm data region, and in the meantime form a short tendency and long tendency database.
Arrhythmia analysis task: perform arrhythmia analysis store the waveform of arrhythmia and corresponding information.
Interface processing task: accomplish human-computer interactions, process system faults, bounce out menus, modify alarm limits and
alarm switch of various parameters, and processing of alarm disply and the system fucntion settings, setting of information of the patients,
display of breath oxygenation diagram, display of abnormal analysis waveform, switching of the display interfaces, history data of the EVENT,
and tendency data, and drive the task of sending control commands and the task of recorder.
Task of sending control command: send out various control commands, such as: version number reading command, lead switching of the
multi-functional board, gain changing, filtering means changing command, start and stop measuring command of NIBP, and send alarm
information and sound information to the panel.
Output task of the recorder: accomplish real-time waveform and parameter recording and parameter alarm recording.
Network sending task: send the waveform, parameter, maximum and minimum alarm value, and other related information of this bed to the
central station.
Network reception task: send the modified maximum and minium alarm values and related settings (such as: analog demonstration, NIBP
measuring switch, mode, channel, and lead selection, etc.) of the central station to the monitor.
Task of refreshing the waveform regularly: fresh the waveform in real time.

Inspection procedures
Use the NIBP stimulator with calibration function to calibrate and judge the acuracy of blood pressure pump. After finishing the calibration,
perform the inspection below:
A. Both the simulator and monitor are set to the adult mode.
B Select a group of blood pressure value within the measuring range on the NIBP stimulator, such as: S=90;
M=70;
C Check whether the acutual results measured by the monitor are consistent with the value set by the stimulator.
D Change the blood pressure value set by the stimulator, and measure again.
E Check whether the acutual results measured by the monitor are consistent with the value set.
