Introduction
Easy bussing Application is developed on android emulator which can run on android phone.This
application is developed in Java with android support. In this application, users can select the
highway. For example user want to go from east janakpuri to Shalimar bagh then he/she selects
route. There may be two or three buses on a single route or different routes. Then this app
automatically show the timmings , number of people on a particular bus, seat availability, route
optimization so that person can select which bus to take.
In this project all the information about user will be stored in the database and that information
will be automatically updated to the server. User can view information on that app by
authenticating themselves..

Purpose
The purpose of easy bussing system project is to computerize the traditional way of judging the
ward performance of bus service .Another purpose for developing this software is to generate the
report automatically at the end of the sessionor a specific time period so bus optimization can be
done..

Problem Definition
The aim of the project is to optimize the bussing system and make it easy for the users with the
help of Android Phone using Java as front end developed in Eclipse as Java IDE.

Existing System
Existing system is not usefull no information about the buses services, seat availability can be
given to the user.

Disadvantages of Present Working System

Difficulty in report generating: We require more calculations to generate the report so it is
generated at the end of the session. And the user do not get a single chance to suggest their
opinion.

Manual control: All calculations to generate report is done manually so there is greater
chance of errors.

Lots of paperwork: Existing system requires lot of paper work. Loss of even a single
register/record can lead to difficult situation because all the papers are needed to generate
the reports.

Time consuming: Every work is done manually so we cannot generate report in the
middle of the session or as per the requirement because it is very time consuming.

No seat availability option

No information about passengers

Proposed System
Functionalities of the current system
Core Functionalities:
Admin panel- This panel will be made for Admin of the application and his tasks are enlisted
below.

View payment details :- This will tell the user about the fare and all from source to
destination

Change basic info :- Number of buses on a particular route can be increased or decreased
according to the traffic.

Register employ details:- Details of employ will be registered.

Add new route details:- According to the report generated new routes can be added.

Register the user:- The user will give his information and will register in the application.

Bus optimization:- According to the report generated optimization of the route can be
done over a specific time period.

Other uses:

Seat availability :- It will show about the vacant seats and occupied seats in a bus.

Information of passenger :- Passengers information can be stored and verified.

Route optimization :- Route optimization according to the report generated can be done.

Report generation :- report will be generated according to the number of sold tickets per
day and timming off arrival of buses.

Others: ADT Plug-in, Android Support, Blue stacks Software.

Feasibility Study:
Economic Feasibility:
Economic analysis is most frequently used for evaluation of the effectiveness of the system.
More commonly known as cost/benefit analysis the procedure is to determine the benefit and
saving that are expected from a system and compare them with costs, decision is made to design
and implement the system.
This part of feasibility study gives the top management the economic justification for the new
system. This is an importantinput to the management, because very often the top management
does not like to get confounded by the various technicalities that bound to be associated with a
project of this kind.
A simple economic analysis that gives the actual comparison of costs and benefits is much more
meaningful in such cases.
In the system, the organization is most satisfied by economic feasibility. Because, if the
organization implements this system, it need not require any additional hardware resources as
well as it will be saving lot of time.

Technical Feasibility:

Technical feasibility centers on the existing manual system of the test management process and
to what extent it can support the system.
According to feasibility, analysis procedure the technical feasibility of the system is analyzed and
the technical requirements such as software facilities, procedure,inputs are identified. It is also
one of the important phases of the system development activities.
The system offers greater levels of user friendliness combined with greater processing speed.
Therefore, the cost of maintenance can be reduced. Since, processing speed is very high and the
work is reduced in the maintenance point of view management convince that the project is
operationally feasible.

Behavioral Feasibility:
People are inherently resistant to change and computer has been known to facilitate changes.
An estimate should be made of how strong the user is likely to move towards the development of
computerized system.
These are various levels of users in order to ensure proper authentication and authorization and
security of sensitive data of the organization.

Scope
The scope of the project is the device on which the software is installed, i.e. the project is
developed as a mobile application, and it will work for a particular institute.
But later on the project can be modified to operate it offline.
