1.1 WELCOMING SPEECH
1.2 The meeting began by reciting Al-Fatihah
1.3 The Head of Language Department stated that English Panel
meeting should be held just after school break but it needed to be
postponed due to Head of English Panels unhealthy condition.
2.0 RECONFIRMATION OF THE THIRD ENGLISH LANGUAGE PANEL
MEETING FOR 2015 HELD ON 3RD APRIL 2015
2.1 The minutes of the final English Language Panel meeting was
passed by Pn. Nur Elina and seconded by Cik Syazwani

MATTERS ARISING
There was no matters arising

4.0 SPM PROGRAMME

4.1 Two Words a Day will be handled by Puan Rohaidah and Puan
Raihan every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Students will be
provided with a word on Monday and two words on Wednesday and
Thursday.
4.2 Pn. Norley asked whether is it fine the two words should only be
pasted at it respective corner without any explanation during assembly.
Pn. Rohaidah disagrees with that because guidance is needed in
teaching language.
4.3 This programme has been raised in PIBG meeting and they
demanded for the effectiveness. Due to this matter, Pn. Noorfauziyati

has come out with suggestion to publish all the words in the classroom
to ensure its effectiveness.
4.3.1 Responding to this, Puan Elina suggested that the words are to be
pasted using sticky notes on a manila card. Then, paste the manila
card on the door so everyone can see it. Everyone seconded the
motion.
5.0 PT3 PROGRAMME
5.1 Pn. Noor Fauziyati suggested the given words from Two Words a
Day should be asked to students while they are in class and walking
around. Pn. Rohaidah agreed to ask students again in the classroom
but she disagreed to ask students when they are walking around. It is
because it is improper to do that.

Pn. Elina informed that En. Fouzi will call other agencies to held
English programmes in SMKMJ. Pn. Rohaidah said just let he proceed
with that.

7.0 OTHER MATTERS

7.1 Programmes that have not been run yet were Form Three Workshop
and Form One Workshop. They should be held on April.
Action by: Form One and Form Three Coordinators
7.2 Pn. Elina informed that the newsletter will be continuously done once
in the fortnight.
7.2 Pn. Rohaidah advised all English teachers to do their very best in
everything they do.
7.3 She also prayed for Puan Rosmawatis speedy recovery.
