1. MI N I M UM RE Q UI RE ME N T
a) System with Internet Connection
b) Operating System should be Windows XP Service Pack -3 / Vista / Windows 7 with 32-bit
Operating system.
c) Supported Browsers: IE 9 (32-bit Browser only) & above, Firefox (13+), Chrome (20+)
d) System Access with Administrator Rights
e) Digital Certificate: To participate in an e-Tender, you need to have a valid Digital
Certificate from certifying authority of India as per the IT Act, 2000. Valid Digital
Certificate (DC) must be installed in a computer system from where you want to login on
website.

Check your Digital Certificate (Mandatory)


Installing Intermediatory certificate (for Webpage with Certificate error )
Adding URL to the Trusted Zone. (Mandatory)
Installing CAPICOM
Active -X control setting.
Installing Signer.

3. C H E C K Y O U R D I G I T A L C E RT I F I C A T E
A. You should make sure, your digital certificate in installed in your system OR your
certificate with e-Token should attach to your System.
B. If certificate is installed in e-Token, check the driver should be properly installed.
C. Steps to check the Digital Certificate in your Internet Explorer as mentioned below :
Open Internet Explorer Tools menu OR (Press Alt + T on your keyboard) Internet
Option Content Certificate Double click on your certificate (a Certificate
window will appear) Go to Certification Path And check the Certificate Status
It should come as The Certificate is OK.

D. If the Certificate Status is NOT OK or INVALID etc. then Pl contact your Digital
Certificate service provider.

Important Note:

Your computer systems date should be matched with the


date of the digital certificate. (i.e. current date & time of
system)
Certification path should be CCA CA Name of Certificate
holder as shown in above given the screen shot.

If you have a digital certificate in e-Token then make sure that e-Token Driver is
installed in computer system before accessing an e-Token.
You can check whether e-Token driver is installed in your computer system or
not, perform below mentioned steps:
Start Menu Programs e-Token e-Token
Properties

If you dont have an e-Token driver installed your computer system, you can acquire
the same from the service provider from whom you have procured an e-Token
device.
If you have a digital certificate stored on an e-Token then please insert e-Token in
USB port of the computer system to logon to the website.

In the homepage User needs to download the Intermediatory certificate (.Zip file) and install
all the certificates which is availble on homepage under Downloads section.

Explorer Go to Tools Menu Internet Options Security Custom Level) Steps
as mentioned below:

Appendix Dos & Donts


Remember your User ID & Password to access the website.
Dont share your User ID, Password & Digital Certificate with
anyone.
Use e-Token for storage of digital certificate.
If you have installed a Digital Certificate in someone else computer
system, then dont forget to remove your Digital Certificate from
the system.
Change your password after every month.
Password should comprise of alphanumeric & special characters
and should be preferably more than 8 characters. (i.e.
password@489)
