Funcionamiento | Performance
Los reguladores de presin TA Serie 200 estn diseados especialmente
para instalaciones industriales y comerciales, donde se necesita un gran
consumo de gas con mnimas variaciones en su presin de salida. La
sensibilidad a mximo consumo es de aproximadamente un 10 % de la
presin de ajuste (para Gas Natural).
Pueden emplearse como reguladores de primera o segunda etapa, ya que el
rango de presiones de salida que otorgan con los diferentes resortes con que
se proveen, van desde 90 mm.ca. hasta 2300 mm.ca*, para Gas Natural
(Densidad 0,6), GLP (Densidad 1,5) y otros gases.
Los modelos TA-217, TA-227 y TA-225, cuentan con proteccin contra
excesos en la presin de salida regulada, por medio de su sistema de
bloqueo reseteable manualmente. Este sistema es ideal en aquellos casos
donde no es aconsejable instalar venteo para dar seguridad por alivio. Acta
cuando la presin regulada supera a la deseada entre 150 y 600 mm.ca
(estos valores son ajustados por medio de un resorte cuya presin se regula
externamente). Poseen un filtro incorporado que debe ser revisado
peridicamente. Para acceder al mismo se quitan los cuatro (4) tornillos del
bloqueo y se extraen ambos.

TA Series 200 Pressure regulators are specially designed to be used at industrial

and commercial installations where a high gas consumption with minimum
variations in its outlet pressure is required. Sensitivity at maximum performance
is of about 10% of the adjusting pressure (for Natural Gas).
They can be used as first or second phase regulators, since the range of outlet
pressures given by the different springs provided, vary from 90 mm.wc to 2300
mm.wc for Natural Gas (density 0.6), LPG (density 1.5) and other gases.
TA-217, TA-227 and TA-225 Types are equipped with a manual reset blocking
system, which provides overflow protection in outlet regulated pressures. These
units are specially suitable for those cases in which it is not convenient to install
venting systems to provide safety relief. It operates whenever regulated
pressures exceed the desired one, between 150 and 600 mm.wc (these values
are adjusted by a spring whose pressure is externally regulated). These units also
have an incorporated filter that shall be checked periodically. In order to have
access to it, the four (4) blocking screws have to be removed.
* TA Series 200 A Pressure Regulators (high pressure types) are manufactured on request in all
types for maximum outlet pressures of 0.5 bar.

Instalacin y Construccin | Installation and Construction

Su conexin a la caera se efecta por medio de roscas de dimetro nominal
2 (51 mm.). El flujo de gas est indicado por una flecha en relieve ubicada
en el cuerpo de la vlvula. Pueden conectarse indistintamente en caeras
verticales u horizontales con el sentido de flujo hacia uno u otro lado,
pudiendo girarse la caja diafragma 360 respecto al cuerpo siempre y
cuando, en los modelos que poseen bloqueo, se modifique la forma del tubo
de cobre (debe dejarse en una posicin cmoda el RESET y los resortes de
regulacin de presin); obtenindose las ventajas de un mejor
aprovechamiento del gabinete o lugar de colocacin, y posibilidad de dejar
accesible la tapa del resorte para efectuar los ajustes necesarios en la
presin de salida.
Su construccin es sumamente slida. Los mecanismos interiores ferrosos
estn protegidos contra la corrosin y el diafragma es de caucho sinttico
entelado en nylon, resistentes a la accin de los hidrocarburos. Poseen en su
interior un dispositivo compensador de venteo que evita las vibraciones del
diafragma principal y permite su gran sensibilidad, y una vlvula de
seguridad por alivio que ventea posibles excesos en la presin de salida.

Connection to pipes is done with 2" (51 mm) nominal diameter threads. Gas flow
is indicated with an embossed arrow on the valve's body. The unit can be
connected equally to horizontal or vertical pipes and flow can be led in any
direction. The diaphragm box can be rotated 360 in relation to the body but only
if the copper pipe's shape is altered in those units which have blockage (the
reset system and the pressure regulating springs must be located in a
comfortable position). In this way, two advantages are obtained: a better usage
of the cabinet or collocation site, and the possibility to put the spring cap in an
accessible position in order to make the necessary adjustments in outlet
pressures.
Its structure is highly solid. The inner ferrous mechanisms are anticorrosive and
the diaphragm is made with synthetic rubber coated with nylon, which makes it
resistant to hydrocarbon action. The unit is equipped, internally, with a venting
compensating device which prevents the principal diaphragm vibrations and
allows it to have great sensitivity, and with a safety relief valve that vents possible
excesses in outlet pressures.
