have fixed the year push the SETTINGS button only once and you will be able to enter the
interval in days. Push the Settings button once again and when you see the sign E in the
left corner of the screen, it means that all is set and you will just have to press and hold
the SETTINGS button for 5 second to save the changes and exit.

10. How does the charging mode work

10.1 Automatic mode
In an automatic mode the system determines the battery charging mode by itself.
This depends only on the pre-set parameters by you. The criteria for switching from Float to
Boost is the battery`s charging current limit (Ibsw F2B) which you can pre-set through Menu
11. If this limit is crossed, the system will automatically switch to Boost mode.

The criteria for switching from Boost to Float is the battery`s charging current limit (Ibsw
F2B) which you can pre-set through Menu 11. If the system crosses this limit, additional
timer (ADD TIMER) will be turned on. Its aim is to ensure full charge of the battery while the
system keeps being in Boost mode simultaneously. A timer that counts the amount of time
for which the system has been in Boost mode has been added (TMR BST MAX). Its aim is to
prevent a long stay of the battery under high charging voltage. When one of the timers runs
out, the system will automatically switch back to Float regime.

10.2 Manual mode

In manual mode, you have to choose the batterys charging mode by yourself. The
first option is Float mode.
In this regime the battery charging current limit will be the decisive point for
switching between Float and Boost.

Another option is Boost mode. In this mode the battery charging current limit will be
the maximum charging battery current (Ibch Max) that has been pre-set. However for safety
reasons a timer will be automatically started here as well (TMR BST MAX). Its purpose is to
count the time in a Boost mode. After it runs out the system will automatically switch back
to Float mode.
