One area of improvement is that I hesitate to say "No" to people. I have the knack to go out of my way to help others, which has
caused problems twice in my own work.
While working for TCL, I was assigned a high-priority Tunneling Project in Udhampur.
During the last phase of our project, I faced tremendous pressure from the Indian Railways to speed up our work and use all means
necessary to wind up. Being the QC Engineer, I had to ensure that we maintain strict control, prevent any accidents, which are
common in tunneling activities. This entire 3 month period of handling the GM and Chief Engineer of Indian Railways taught me a great
deal about how to cope up with pressure and still deliver results. This is my largest achievement in life because of the sheer magnitude
of this project and the responsibility which I had on my shoulders, of completing this Tunnel within the stipulated time period without any
compromise on quality standards.
