A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Born and bred in Sydney Australia, I am a very keen and outgoing Graphic Designer who specialises in Web Design. I
like to put it this way because I see myself as a very well rounded designer and enjoy working in other types of media. I
am a very active type of guy, I love to get involved and I love working with like minded people.
For the best part of four years I have spent traveling Europe, I have lived and worked in the United Kingdom and also in
Padova, Northern Italy.
Some of the sorts of things I like to do when I'm not looking at a computer screen include traveling, snowboarding,
mountain bike riding, exercising at the gym, checking out interesting exhibitions whether it be art or photography, taking
pictures, listening to music and cooking.

To fully utilize, expand and explore my creative and design skills, to become a leader in the field I am in.

CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
2005 - 2006

SENIOR WEB DESIGNER - SEGA EUROPE

Working in the Sega-Europe Online Services team in London, UK, I was in charge of all online
design aspects from concept to build for a number of high profile Sega titles. Week to week tasks
also included new ideas and fresh design ideas on the Sega-Europe website, competitions, mini
games, screensavers etc.
Successfully Conceptualised, designed and built an online presence for Segas top selling
Football Manager game footballmanager.net

2004 - 2005

SENIOR WEB DESIGNER - TLC MARKETING

Freelanced for TLC Marketing, a global marketing and sales promotions company, which
subsequently led to a full time position as Senior Graphic Designer. Projects included:
Successful pitches for British Telecom and Pipex Communications.
As lead designer, successfully designed and developed the TLC Network, an dynamic,
multilingual family of websites that represent TLC on a global scale.

2003 - 2004

PUBCOMPANY SRL - ITALY

Contracted for a software publishing company as Art Director in Padova, Italy. I was commissioned to
work on a number of various special projects. Along the way I gained new knowledge in the
importance of web standards and accessibility. Other aspects included: Corporate Identity, Ecommerce website design, Interface design, Packaging.

2002 - 2003

FREELANCE WEB DESIGN

Working as a freelance designer in Sydney, specialising in electronic and print media.
Client list includes:
Desire Brand Management
Tonic Creative
Accelerated Performance
The Superjesus
Dynamix
Successfully negotiated, designed and completed the Tonic Creative Website on time and
on budget. Developing and designing Popular Music Compilation CD cover artwork Radio
Groove IV and V for Digital One. Maintaining the relationship with The Superjesus and
updating their website.

2001 - 2002

DESIRE BRAND MANAGEMENT

Established the Interactive Division of one of Sydneys boutique advertising agencies including:
Designing and constructing all interactive projects.
Contributing to print campaigns, photography projects and logo design.
Representing Desire at: 2001 Flashkit Developer Conference, 2001 Sydney Fresh Conference,
2002 Singapore Fresh Conference
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.

 Flash pieces for projection at promotions

Collaborating with the Design Director on the Knob Creek Bourbon 2001 re-launch by
providing design, photography and animation for the project.
Developing complete re-launch of The Chatswood Chase website coordinating with
Relate Systems in the development of the content management system.
Designing branding and developing the website and all collateral material for Dorje.
Developing, in collaboration with the Creative Director, Desire Alchemy, a fast paced flash
animation project used to promote the company.

2000 - 2001

WEB DESIGNER - K*GRIND

Worked in a highly collaborative and inspiring environment amongst some of Sydneys best web
designers, programmers, information architects, audio engineers, web producers, content producers
and post production people including:
Maintaining three of the ten K*Grind channels.
Designing and building the Flash component of the various mini-sites for the Events Channel.
Developing and designing the Flash components and collaborating with programmers in the
development of the SuperJesus website.

1999 - 2000

GRAPHIC DESIGNER - SHILLINGTON GRAPHICS

Upon completing my Certificate IV in Graphic Design at Shillington College, I was invited to utilize my
talents in the associated Graphic Design Studio including:
Designing and managing the production of Real Estate promotional material.
Maintaining a close liaison with print suppliers to ensure print projects were completed on
schedule.
Managing a group of key accounts which included Sydneys top retail and industrial estate
agents.
Designing and producing, within budget and on time, a brochure for one of Sydneys most
prestigious properties. Designing and producing, within budget and on time, a 6 page
investment report for one of Sydneys largest real estate agents.

1997 - 1998

Apprentice Motor Mechanic - Barry Smith Holden

Was invited to join the apprenticeship program at this leading Sydney Motor Dealership.
Successfully completing the first year of the apprenticeship
Completing various Holden specific technical courses

1994 - 1996

CREW TRAINER - MC DONALDS

Joined this multinational fast food company while still at school and after 12 months was promoted
to Crew Trainer managing shifts including:
Training of all new staff in all aspects of the operations of the restaurant.
Managing shifts to ensure wastage was kept to a minimum and meeting all
cleanliness guidelines.
