Since 2005, ddrum has been redefining the definition of a

production drum kit. The innovation continues with the
introduction of ddrums Limited Edition 10th Anniversary
Kit - a drumset distinguished by custom features
traditionally found only on the most expensive of custom
sets. Using Hybrid Shell Technology, ddrum has combined
the look and tone of maple, with the earth-shaking low end
and tunability of alder. The Anniversary kit also features
tube lugs for a small shell footprint combined with our
Fixtpitch mounting system for a clean streamlined look and
maximum resonance. Stability enhancing reso lifts allow the
20x22 bass drum to sing at its full note, as well as keeping
the finish from being scratched on the floor. Rounding out
the kit are shallow rack and floor toms - popular features
introduced by ddrum on earlier kits. The 10th Anniversary
Kit is finished in classic ddrum colors - red sparkle to black
burst with black nickel hardware. Availability is limited to
only 50 kits with numbered certificate included.

When we began the conception of the new Anniversary kit, we wanted to make sure we incorporated some
of our innovations from the previous 10 years. We started with the shell we are no stranger to, offering
hybrid wood shells, and the new Maple/Alder shell is the ultimate realization of those efforts. Alder
provides a warm mid-low punch and the outer plies of maple add a nice snap to the top end. The lug design
is reminiscent of our Dios series. Low mass, sturdy and classy. To mount the drums, we turned to our
proprietary Fixtpitch system, also utilizing our Resolifts for ultimate bass drum tone and isolation from
the floor. Speaking of the bass drum, the ddrum original, a massive 20x22 kick for the ultimate in look
and projection! For ease of tuning, we incorporated die-cast hoops, a nod to the Dominion series.
This drum set is the sum of all the places we have been, with an eye toward where we are going next!

matching finish to set off the beauty of each drum in the set - or each snare drum on its own.
Fixtpitch suspension mounts

The Fixtpitch mount is as functional as it is beautiful.This
simple but elegant design allows the mount to be connected to
the outside of the lug, not directly to the shell. Fixtpitch holds
the drum securely, avoiding pitch bend, or interference with
projection and tone.

The decision to return to a 45 edge was simple - get

the heads to respond to each other, allowing for the
widest tuning range. Whether used in conjunction
with the darkness of walnut, the warmth of alder, or

Introducing the Speakeasy Flyer! ddrum answers the call for those drummers that need all the voices
of a drum set, in a small space. Initially designed for the jazz drummer on the go, the kit has found
a home anywhere a drummer needs tone, and is stuck in the corner of the coffeehouse or brewery.
Available in 2 classic wrap finishes, and featuring precision bearing edges on sweet-toned basswood
shells. The bass drum also features a tom mount for the 8x12 suspended rack tom, and a lift to
allow the drum to be struck in the center if desired. The kit is rounded out with a 14x14 floor tom,

ddrum is the industry standard when it comes to
acoustic drum triggering. All models of ddrum
triggers can be used on all acoustic and Mesh
type drum heads. ddrum triggers are compatible
with almost all popular drum modules that
feature a inch trigger input. ddrum triggers
use a patented Vectored Amplitude Measurement
transducer (VAM) to pick up drum strikes. This
gives a natural response from the triggers when
sampling drum sounds from a drum module. (EX.
