YOUTH & ADULT DIVISIONS
FUN & COMPETITIVE
 Senior Riders 19 & over as of Jan. 1, 10
 Junior Riders 18 & under as of Jan. 1, 10 (Jr. Riders MUST wear approved CSA Riding Helmets)
 English helmets or Western hats must be worn for all events if hat falls off a 5 second penalty will be added
 All riders must wear clean long sleeve shirt, tie or broach and boots with heel. Horses tack safe & clean
 ALL YOUTH MUST WEAR WESTERN SADDLES
 NO TWISTED WIRE BITS PERMITTED
 NO SPURS
 NO WHIPS or CROPS, OVERUNDERS or HITTING with REINS PERMITTED
 JUNIORS MUST be able to mount and dismount with out assistance, other than holding the horse, prior to the
first event. Exception will be given to disabled riders with prior approval
 Juniors are not allowed to handle Stallions
 Horses found to be unsound may be excused by the show committee.
 Riders/horses that are considered unsafe and/or dangerous may be excused from the show at the sole discretion
of show committee.
 Riders have two minutes to get their horse into the ring after announcer calls or disqualified
 A horse may be lead into the ring but after that no assistance is permitted
 If the rider/horse is not doing the event after 3 minutes the horse/rider will be asked to leave the ring
 Any horse crossing the finish line before completing the pattern will be disqualified
 Any mistreatment, abuse, or misconduct towards any person(s) or any animal(s) on the show grounds will not be
tolerated. People found to be doing so will be removed from the show.
 Stay in the designated riding areas. No horses past the stands
 One Entry per Horse/Rider Combination
 Anyone 18 & under must be accompanied by parent, legal guardian or trainer while in the Gymkhana

