(C)Containersholdingfreeliquidsmustnotbeplacedinalandfillunless:
(1)Allfreestandingliquid:
(a)Hasbeenremovedbydecantingorothermethodsor
(b)Hasbeenmixedwithsorbentorsolidifiedsothatfreestandingliquidisnolongerobservedor
(c)Hasbeenotherwiseeliminatedor
(2)Thecontainerisverysmall,suchasanampuleor
(3)Thecontainerisdesignedtoholdfreeliquidsforuseotherthanstorage,suchasabatteryorcapacitoror
(4)Thecontainerisalabpackasdefinedinrule37455716oftheAdministrativeCodeandisdisposedofin
accordancewithrule37455716oftheAdministrativeCode.
(D)Sorbentsusedtotreatfreeliquidstobedisposedofinlandfillsmustbenonbiodegradable.
