Praise for an Amazing Trip

It is hard to express our gratitude to God for the blessings
He has given in answer to
your prayers. To all of you we
say a hearty, Thank you!
I (YH) did make it back safe
and sound. The Lord brought
more than 1,100 souls
(possibly 150 more) who
welcomed Him into their
hearts.

Before leaving on this

ministry trip in September,
a Christian brother here
who prayed for me said,
God will open doors!
Even what you do not
expect. HE did indeed!
On the island of Timor,
He opened the door to speak
in a high school, a middle
school, and an interdenomi-

national gathering, as well as

church services. God the
Holy Spirit worked in many
hearts.
During my seven week trip I
visited six Indonesian
islands, 10 cities, and two
villages as well as Singapore
and cities in California.

Young People Come to Jesus

Being mindful of the proliferation
of pornography through cell phones
and of the high number of STDs
among young people, I shared with
both middle and high school
students the horrible reality of hell
but also about the love of Christ.
The Lord gripped hearts. In the high
school, 800 prayed the sinners
prayer with me. Glory to our God
only!
Thank you very much for interceding and for giving to this outreach.

In this middle school, over 330 invited Jesus to be their Savior

For the redemption of their souls is costly. Ps. 49:8

Only Jesus could pay the cost.

More Salvations & Healings in Timor

In the gathering on the left, God the Holy Spirit
touched our spirits as well as our bodies. This shot
did not capture the overflow of people in the yard
on the right. Seventyeighty people welcomed Him
into their lives and some testified of physical
healings. Praise the Lord!

About 7,000 people attended the annual

spiritual revival services in the city of Soe,
Timor. I was only one of the speakers in
the 3 1/2 day conference. (In this picture I
am at the podium in front). As the Lord
moved me, I extended an invitation to
those who had not asked Jesus into their
hearts. Twenty-five people responded to
His call. Hallelujah!

Deliverance for a Young Lady

Leaving Timor Island, I stopped on four other islands before arriving in
E. Java. Our local prayer partners asked me to join them in a deliverance
ministry. With much prayer and gratitude I jumped into the fray. This
small young lady (granddaughter of a powerful medium) could push away
34 strong men when the demons in her showed their power. However,
when true believers held her and prayed for her, that demonic power
was subdued. After persevering in prayer for 45 minutes, the demons
were cast out in the powerful name of JESUS! She is soundly delivered
and saved. It was SO wonderful to see the power of God in action before
our very eyes!

As Jesus advised us, we should rejoice even more because our names are written in Heaven. So we did.
How incredibly more precious it is to be in HIS embrace, as HIS OWN children. HE preserved my
health despite short nights, mosquito bites, questionable food, and taxing preparation for each ministry.
I could not have done it without your many prayers and kind support. Truly this has been a team
ministry. Thank you. We will share more stories later.

Enemys Attempt to Thwart the Trip

A few days before leaving Indiana in September, as I was completing my honey-do list,
I had two ladder accidents (on different ladders) in the span of an hour. Thankfully, nothing
was broken, but I bruised my ribs and injured my foot and back; this left me very sore
while traveling. Besides that I had a serious case of poison oak which lasted over three
weeks. We are thankful that by Gods grace the ministry trip was not hampered.

Exciting News from the Herman Family

We are happy to share with you that we will be first-time grandparents this coming
April. Please keep Kristin, Yosh, and baby Herman in your prayers. Yohan, Kristin,
and Yosh will be with us for Thanksgiving which will be a joyous time!
