Sarnath - here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his five
disciples after he attained enlightenment at Bodhgaya. Here visit
Dhamekha Stupa, Ashok Pillar, Chowkhandi Stupa, and Mulagandha
Kuti Vihar. Overnight: stay at Varanasi.
Early morning take a boat ride on river Ganges to see sunrise. Return
to the hotel for breakfast and later proceed for a city tour of Varanasi
visiting the Ghats and Temples on the bank of river Ganges. In the
afternoon you are free for individual activities or Shopping for
Banaras Sarees. Overnight: at Varanasi.
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Bodhgaya the
place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Upon arrival,

visiting Rajgir -Buddha spent 12 years and the first Buddha council
after Buddha attained nirvana was held here. Nalanda is just 19 Kms
from Rajgir, Founded in 5th century BC, was one of the world's great
universities and an important Buddhist center until its sacking by the
Afghans in the 12th century. A credit to the curators, the site is
peaceful, clean, well-maintained and perfumed with the scent of

Ayurveda is based on two important theories:
Thridosha Siddhanta: According to Thridosha siddanta, life is the manifestation of
three basic aspects named Vatha, Pitha and Kapha. As long as these three doshas
are in balance, health prevails. When these doshas falls into imbalance, ill health
occurs.

Panchabhoota Siddhanta: According to the Panchabhoota siddhanta ,

Universe is made of five basic factors named bhootas. They are Prithwi,

can equate Prithwi as Earth and Jal as water, Agni as fire, Vayu as air and Akasa as
space.

Intestines), Pitha (Liver, Spleen, Gall Bladder, Stomach, Duodenum, Pancreas) and Kapha
(Sinuses, Nostrils, Throat, Bronchi) and five bhoothas of Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu and Akasa.

Day 01 : Chennai - Kumbakonam

Depart from Chennai by car to Kumbakonam. On arrival, Check-in Hotel in
Kumbakonam. Visit to Thingaloor temple (moon temple). Perform the poojas. Then
visit to Alangudi (Jupiter temple) . Evening visit darasuram & swamimalai temple
(one of the seven abodes of lord muruga). Back to Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 02 : Kumbakonam
Early morning visit to Suriyanar Temple (sun Temple), Kanjanoor (Venus temple)
followed by Tirunageswaram (Rahu temple). Please ensure that the pooja is
performed during Rahu kalam. Afternoon visit to Vaitheeswaran Koil (Mars temple)
Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03 : Kumbakonam - Chennai
Early morning visit to Thirunallar (Saturn temple), Thiruvenkadu (Mercury temple)
and Keelperumpallam (Ketu temple). Perform poojas. Depart from Kumbakonam and
arrive Chennai late in the evening.

Shiridi is a small village in Kopargam taluk, in Ahmadnagar district of the Maharastra
State. Shirdi is a very sacred, powerful and important place of pilgrimage inIndia.
Shirdi is about 285-km and 6 hours drive from Mumbai (Bombay), was established in
1922 to carry out the noble service of the saint Shri Sai Baba. The saga of Shri
Sathya Sai Baba of Shirdi started in the middle of the last century when, as a boy
about 16 years of age, he first appeared here under a neem tree absorbed in a hard
penance. He devoted 60 years of life to the enlistment of the poor and suffering. The
saint was believed to be an incarnation of lord Shiva and his teachings transcended
all religions and beliefs. A pilgrimage for his followers, Shirdi provides various
facilities for the devotees. Even today the last few surviving elders of the village
vividly recall the miraculous wonders of the sage. He died in 1918 leaving behind
grieving villagers. Khandoba Mandir, Samadhi of Shree Sai Baba, Dwarkamai
mosque, Mhasoba temple all these places are within a periphery of 1km & can be
covered on foot.

Day 01 : Depart Chennai to Pune early in the morning. On arrival at Pune meet and
transfer Ranjangoan for Mahaganapathy Darshan(Enroute Breakfast,lunch at
Restaurant). On arrival at Shirdi check in hotel. Evening go for Baba Darshan.Dinner
and over night stay at Shirdi.
Day 02 : Early morning Shri Sai Baba Dharshan. Breakfast check out hotel and
proceed for Bhimashankar Darshan (Jyothirlingam) then proceed to Pune airport
(Enroute Lunch & Dinner) to travel to Chennai.Arrive Chennai late in the night.(Drop
at Residence within city limits)
