Caster level: 17
Aura: Overwhelming necromancy (DC 26)
Activation: 1 minute (Perform check DC

Weight: -

Three runes mark the top of this vellum sheet

where a dirge appears in Common. A successful
Knowledge: runes check (DC 15) reveals they

Lore: Delve Into Collective Memory,

DC 25: The Executioners Song is often sung
at state sponsored killings. It has seen

Krovacatharis the Seeker. The Order of the
Axe and the Diamond Throne reserve this only
for those who have escaped execution though
being raised or finding undeath.
Abilities:
It only functions when all of the following
conditions are met:

The individual is helpless or is

cooperating with their execution.
Has been found guilty by the local
legal authority with no other legal
appeal.
Has been sentenced to death for their
crime.
Has been given time to perform a final
minor ceremony (such as a farewell
ceremony, but not a power ritual).
Has been allowed to speak their final
words.

Once met, the song can be sung. When it

ends, the person is executed. It binds the body
and spirit so that person can never be raised

Pyncharsson the Axe of Anointing

As a knight armed with Pyncharsson
you will see, endure, remain true, find balance,
and become one with your axe. You can
become a living incarnation of the virtues of the
Order of the Axe.
This regalia of magical augments was
created as a quest for those seeking to become
Knights of the Axe. It promoted the Code of the

Order, and created a near religious relic
that would inspire all the Knights of the realm.
LORE: (Collective Memory or Knowledge
(History, Nobility and courtesy))
DC 15 this is part of regalia of the Order of the
Axe. With each piece gathered, you gain more
of the power and virtue that the knights
symbolize.
DC 20 it was created at the command of the
founder of the knights in a chapterhouse that
was later plundered by the Knights of the
Diamond. The regalia was lost. The Knights of
the Axe will pay twice its value if a piece is
returned to a chapter house.
DC 25 Knights of the Axe consider
Pyncharsson the property of the order and will
seek its return though any honorable means.
They consider looting after your death in
honorable combat quite acceptable.
REGALIA BENEFITS
You cannot combine effects on an
already enchanted weapon, but when you are
able to combine two of these regalia items
together, a rune on the weapon glows. a faint
red. When all of the regalia items are combined,
there is a burst of red light. It reveals itself as
Pyncharsson.
2 items: If used together on an unenhanced
masterwork weapon, it gains a +1 enhancement
bonus and the runic special weapon quality.
5 Pieces: if used together on an unenhanced
masterwork weapon, it transforms into an
intelligent artifact axe (type chosen by you)
named Pyncharsson. Any weapon feats are
changed to this axe type (example Weapon
Focus: longsword would become Weapon
Focus: battleaxe) and you gain proficiency with
this axe.

This axe head is always composed of crystal-laced

layered black steel with a red crystal eye. The rune
for truth sits on one side of the axe head. That haft
is made of crystal-laced gassar wood fluted with
spiral grooves. The wood is engraved with a knight
standing atop the blades of a double-bladed axe,
that ends in a crystal pommel in the symbol of the
Order of the Axe.

Pyncharsson is a sentience that embodies a

paradox, dedicated to gaining self rule for all
creatures in the realm (including dracha and
even sibeccai). He has an unbridled hatred
and bloodlust for both giants and sibeccai. He
believes in following the dictates of both order
and chapterhouse, but also in you staying true
to your own conscience.
Int 10, Wis 19, Cha 19; Common, Telepathy,
120 darkvision and hearing.
Pyncharsson can use total transfer wounds
once per encounter. The DC for the peace
effect is based on his +4 Charisma Modifier
(unless yours is higher).
