c. Climax
Because of the occupation of the Nazis in the Holland and the
manipulative and aggressive actions they have shown the Franks, the head of
the family has planned already for the security and safety of his family. He hid
his family in the secret rooms at the top and back of the office building in the

joined by a family of business associate, Van Daan and they also invited an
elderly dentist, Albert Dussel. They hide for twenty-five months with everyday

On August 4, 1944, a Dutch informer, provided the Gestapo
information about the Secret Annexe that gave them a chance to penetrate
the place wherein, eight of them, the Franks, Van Daan, and Albert Dussel
were brought out to the world of hunger, brutality and inhuman acts by the
Nazis.
e. Resolution
Because of Dutch informer, the eight of them, including Mr. Koophius and Mr.

prisoners were herded aboard a train and when it reached the Auschwitz in
Poland, men and women were separated in the platform. That is the last day
that Anne saw his father. All of them eight died because of the sufferings. The

another family, the Van Daan and Albert Dussel for they fear the powerful Nazis
that time that the word mercy is not in their vocabulary. The eight of them
successfully hide for twenty-five months until a Dutch informer reported to the
Gestapo about the hiding place, Secret annexe. Due to the knowledge about it,
these eight were brought into the world of hunger, brutality and merciless Nazis.
All of the characters, except Otto Frank died of the sufferings brought about by
the war at that time. Otto Frank returned to Amsterdam in May 1945 when the
war ended. Miep and Elli gave him the notebooks and papers in Annes
handwriting they found in the Secret annexe. He privately circulated it as a
memorial to his family whom he lost.
4) Recommendations
Good Recommendation
What I like about the book is that its not only a book that tells a story, but
a book that tells history for it tells a lot of important things about the World War II.
Another is that, since it is a biographical writing, somehow, you can feel the
mood of the writer in each letter she writes each day.
Bad Recommendation
The negative recommendation in this kind of book is that it is somehow
boring especially in the middle part wherein the writer have written too many
repetitive things and the grammar used in some sentences were hard to
understand because of the words used that are obsolete already.
