When will the Bubble Burst?

The Taliban or the Rulers? A question that comes close to touching the heart of
the problem facing the Nation but, does not go far enough to uncover the core issues in a
high stakes game being played since the end of WWII! Over the years Pakistans
Establishment has devolved to a perfected state of criminal extortion, nepotism and
cronyism! The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is honored more by
neglect than implementation. The essence of the spirit of the Law is completely ignored
and the letter of the Law is allowed to be exploited through various methods in order to
protect rank scoundrels and provide them with opportunity to walk away with the
Family Silver.
It is not Jinnahs or Talibans Pakistan nor Liberal or Conservative Pakistan that
lies at stake. Rather, it is the Peoples Pakistan apropos to the Looter/ Exploiters Pakistan
that is in question. The Power Politics played out in and outside the corridors of power
and remotely orchestrated by the powers that be, is a intensely ruthless, no-holds barred
race for pelf! Pious or self-righteous facades for enacting the public good are merely
cosmetic attempts to cover the greed and lust dictated by the Nafs-e-Ammara Bil Su,
(Lower or Animal Self Commanding to Evil) as elaborated in the Holy Quran. Whether
this be overtly liberal or a case of this Nafs assuming the garb of piety. Those of us who
claim that Islam has left no clear system of governance are led astray by the dissimulation
of the exploiters. Rule by consensus (Ijma) as opposed to majority is the very essence of
the Islamic System suppressed by the momentous injustice of Karbala which buried the
egalitarian ideal. Present adherents to one side or the other are merely posing upon the
ultimate truth or real reality (Haqeeqat) as opposed to apparent reality! In the lexicon of
the Sufis, knowledge Shariat is termed as The Knowledge of Certainty (Ilm-ul-Yakeen)
while Knowledge of Tareeqat is termed as The Essence or Visible Proof of Certitude
(Ain-ul-Yakeen)! Both these branches of knowledge are complimentary and dependant
upon each other, without knowledge relating to Shariat there is no possibility of attaining
knowledge of The Path (Tareeqat)! However, the bounds of Shariat and the Rules of
Tareeqat are transcended by another highway of knowledge and this is termed as The
Essence of Certitude (Haq-ul-Yakeen) the secrets and mystery of which is achieved

through The Mercy of Allah (SubhanaHoo Wa Taala). This knowledge is termed as Real
Reality (Haqeqat) or Gnosis (Maarifat).
