Clear and concise communication

The Strategy service line helps companies address the entire range of top management challenges including
pursuing new growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, channel strategies, and pricing
strategies.
Typical skills of a Strategy practitioner include (apart from the generic S&O skills mentioned above):
Corporate and Growth Strategy
Analyze economic, industry-level, and corporate developments through the analysis of
information obtained from research publications, third party firms, government agencies, trade
publications, company sources, and personal interviews
Conduct secondary research through industry-specific database and primary research with client
or market experts to augment the secondary research
Develop detailed analysis on industry trends to generate critical insights
Digital Strategy(Senior Consultant Level Only)
Digital consulting experience with clients in Telecom, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Products
Experience of defining digital operating models for customer engagement, sales, service and
internal efficiency gains
Strong interest in digital trends and their implications to client and business context
Pricing(Senior Consultant Level Only):
Develop pricing strategy based on techniques of profitability analytics, customer segmentation
etc.
Analyze and interpret data around customer and product profitability (including concepts such as
catalog price, invoice price, net price, etc.)
Understand and conduct price optimization based on demand and profitability scenarios
Customer Experience(Senior Consultant Level Only):
Experience in designing and executing customer strategy and customer service initiatives or
projects at organizations
Proficiency and knowledge in conducting and analyzing customer research and data, customer
segmentation analysis, customer experience opportunity analysis to drive sales/retention / share

Business Model Transformation (BMT) service line helps drive the business and operating model changes
required to achieve an organizations strategic vision and improve business performance including designing
the future state operating model, designing and leading a transition program to put the model in place.
Typical skills of a BMT practitioner include (apart from the generic S&O skills mentioned above):
Understand and assess current state operating model
Design future state operating model design
Lead complex transition programs to drive an organizations strategy and make the business
model a reality
Evaluate the value of outsourcing and helping successfully navigate the full lifecycle of the
outsourcing journey
Evaluate realigning enabling processes into central hubs across the globe to more cost
effectively support the business and provide a platform to enable future growth
Identify and implement business performance improvement opportunities that can significantly

including developing supply chain strategy, product development & lifecycle management, supply chain
planning, sourcing & procurement, manufacturing operations and logistics & distribution.
Typical skills and deliverables of an SCMO practitioner include (apart from the generic S&O skills
mentioned above):
Product Development
Demonstrated logical and analytical skills with knowledge across product portfolio management
and product lifecycle management
Demonstrated ability in interacting and working in collaboration with businesses in developing
current state and future state processes and performing gap analysis.
Experience in enabling product lifecycle processes with relevant technologies that exist in the
market such as Agile, Enovia and Teamcenter. Is preferred.
Preferred candidates to have either strong hands on technical knowledge in Agile, or, strong
domain knowledge in product development, engineering and product life cycle management.
Supply Chain Strategy and Planning:
Ability to analyze data, develop insights and/or experience in conducting assessments in
designing future state strategies/operating models across a businesss supply chain
Experience in assessing and improving supply chain planning processes, including Sales and
Operations Planning (S&OP), supply planning or demand planning.
Demonstrated logical and analytical skills with strong knowledge of, or direct related experience
in, demand forecasting, forecast to stock, inventory management, capacity planning, distribution

standard operating procedures and technology
Relevant experience, or, ability and knowledge in interpreting data affecting overall spend
portfolio, such as price, service levels, shipping costs, future trends in commodity risks, and
economic influences; and optimizing portfolio of spend categories
Logistics & Distribution:
Excellent logical and analytical skills with strong knowledge, or direct experience, in optimizing
distribution and transportation network, product flow path analysis or transportation & freight
analysis
Relevant experience in performing network optimization analysis using in-house models and third
party tools such as IBM LogicNet Plus and Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru and leveraging
visualization tools like Tableau/ SourceMap
Manufacturing Strategy & Operations
Excellent quantitative and logical analysis skills with strong knowledge, or direct relevant
experience, in developing strategies for make vs buy analysis, manufacturing footprint
optimization, manufacturing costing analysis and improving plant productivity
Demonstrated skills in using or implementing six sigma methodologies, JIT techniques and
theory of constraints for manufacturing process improvement
Additional Skills: Knowledge of process mapping tools such as Visio, ProcessModel and ExtendSim, ERP,
Kinaxis, JDA, Tableau, Statistical modeling, VBA Macros is a plus.
Finance (Senior Consultant / Manager Level only)
