including consolidation by 8/10 tonne power
road roller duly adding water to get required
proctor density of 96%. The rate shall include
the cost of earth, consolidation by PRR and
water, cost of all labour, hire, fuel charges all
tools and plants and all other incidental charges

WBM 003 Consolidation of sub grade with 8 to 10 tonne

power road roller including making good the
undulation etc., with murum and re-rolling the
subgrade as directed by the Engineer-inSMT
charge.

WBM 004 Supplying and filling with approved quality sand

including watering, compacting in layers of
15cms thick with all lead and lifts etc.,

complete.

WBM 005 Providing laying soling with approved quality

200mm size boulders well packed correct to
level, interstics filled with stone spawls. The
surface shall be consolidated by 8 to 10 tone
power road roller after spreading of muram upto
33% by volume of soling metal and thoroughly
watering etc.,
complete. The finished
consolidated thickness shall be 200mm.

WBM 006 Providing and fixing in position granite kerb of

150mm thick, 400mm high and neatly rounding
the edges and fixing in ground with necessary
excavation, CM grouting and CM pointing etc.,
RMT
complete.

WBM 007 Providing sunk pointing / flush pointing to

size stone masonry with CM 1:3 to which the
pointing should be sunk to 10mm deep and
finished with required tools to leave the surface
pointing in semi-circular. All joints should be
truly horizontal and vertical including the curing,

band work etc., complete.

WBM 008 Supplying suitable approved good quality

gravel/murrum/other fill materials as per
specifications from any sources outside the site
premises with all lead and lifts and spreading
the same in layers not exceeding 250mm
thickness or in thickness less than 250mm if
required by the Engineer-in-charge watering
and rolling the same over fill areas on site till
formation level is reached, including mixing of
different fill materials, if and where required,
double or multiple handling, consolidating each
layer in filled area by watering and rolling and
compacting with power road roller and to other
compact equipment as required to obtain the
required proctor density as per the specification
and as per relevant IS including protecting the
earthwork cost and conveyance of fill materials
cost of all labour, hire and fuel charges for all
tools and plants employed and all other
incidental charges such as pumping out any
accumulated water etc., complete and as

WBM 009 Providing and laying water bound macadam to

a consolidated thickness of 200mm thick in two
layers of 100mm using 63 to 45mm IRC size
large broken granite metal and clean gritty
gravel for bindage including cost of conveyance
of all materials, lead and lift, labour for laying
and spreading the metal, gravel to the required
grades and lines, hand packing to camber,
watering, and consolidation by 8 to 10 tonne
power road roller (PRR) rolling water and
keeping the surface moist for 15 days etc.,
complete as directed by the Engineer-InCharge. The rate shall include the cost of rolling
charges, watering, plants and tools and other

WBM 010 Providing and laying 40mm chip carpet

(consolidated thickness) using 5.4 cum of
granite metal (0.036 cum, 12mm size and 0/018
cum, 6mm size/sqm) to cover 100 sqm and
80/100 grade bitumen at the rate of 72.6
Kgs/cum of granite metal including brushing
cleaning the existing surface etc., and providing
tack coat of hot cut bitumen at 1.00 Kgs/Sqm of
road surface. rolling with 10 tons road roller
etc., complete as directed. rate to include cost
of all materials and labour. chip carpet will be
done in 2 layers of 20mm each, tack coat and
rolling being repeated for each layer.

WBM 011 Providing and laying 10mm seal coat using

medium coarse sand at 0.01 cum/sqm of road
surface over premixed 80/100 grade bitumen

10mm size, 30% of 6mm size, balance 40%
comprising of sand and quarry dust, well mixed
manually or mechanically, spread in layers
100mm thick roller compaction with addition of
water with sprinklers etc.,to complete.

bituminous macadam using 80/100 grade
bitumen at 3.5% by weight of total mixture and

WBM 017 Providing and laying 30mm tk bituminous

concrete using 6% of 60/70 grade bitumen by
weight of mixture, crushed stone aggregate
conforming to grading-2 of table 500-18 of
MOST ( fourth revision) together with 2% filler
material by total weight of aggregate as
specified in clause 507-2-4 of MOST including
mixing and compaction by static roller etc.,to
complete.( Including tack coat )
