Integrity team leader

Job Responsibilities
1. Provide effective management and leadership to the project Integrity team, ensuring the personal
and technical development of team members.
2. Responsible for the delivery of integrity management and inspection services for pressure systems,
pipelines and structures and the development of project strategy documentation, risk assessments
and Written Schemes of Examination
3. Liaise effectively with support disciplines, such as specialist Corrosion, Pipeline / Structural and
Fitness for Service engineers.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, defining inspection requirements and
ensure the utilization of appropriate inspection techniques. Maximize the use of appropriate and cost
effective non-invasive inspection methodologies to provide optimized plant uptime
5. Ensure the effective review of inspection data, results trending and remnant life assessments,
perform fitness-for-service assessments and provide recommendations for repair and replacement
methodologies
6. Monitoring and reporting of asset process technical data including key asset integrity metrics to the
client and internal stakeholders
7. Preparation of annual budgets, monthly finance reports, and responsible for ensuring project
delivery within the specified project budget
8. Chair and attend frequent client and contractor meetings, presenting Integrity Management data
and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
9. Provide timely and accurate reports to the Project Manager and client as required, informing the
client of anomalies and recommend actions to be taken. You will issue integrity statements and
manage project databases.
10. In relation to quality and safety you will ensure project activities are performed in accordance with
accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards and that project activities are performed in
accordance with the Health, safety and environmental policy.
11. Hold regular quality and safety briefings with offshore personnel and third party contractors
Job Requirements
1. Should be a South African national. Other nationalities with a permit/PR to work in South Africa will
also be considered
2. Applicants for this position should have a relevant engineering or science degree.
3. Minimum 10 years of specific experience in Integrity Management, Risk Based Inspection and /InService Inspection (excluding purely NDT)
4. You will also need a wide breadth and depth of knowledge within the petrochemical, inspection or
engineering industry with proven skills in project management

5. Experience and knowledge of integrity management software systems such as RBMI, ACET, etc is
preferred.
6. Candidate should possess supporting certification such as API 510, 570, 653, 580, CSWIP Plant
Inspection, etc.
7. Good understanding of NDT techniques and in-service application of NDT.
8. Knowledge of pressure vessel and pipework design and inspection codes of practice
9. A good level of commercial and financial awareness would be an added advantage.
10. Knowledge of related standards / regulatory requirements. Plant inspection or API certification,
with associated experience, would be highly beneficial.
11. Versatile and flexible team player with good verbal and written communication skills. Good
command of English language is essential.

Senior inspection engineer


An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to join the Inspection team,
based within the Maintenance and Inspection Department of Total E&P UK Limited, Aberdeen.
Reporting to the Lead Inspection Engineer, the responsibilities of this role include:
Provide guidance and support to engineers within discipline team.
Contribute to the development of strategies for the inspection of process plant/equipment and
structures to ensure that all plant and equipment meets verification and compliance requirements.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and effective manner.
Undertake review of reports and anomalies, and assist in identifying suitable repair options.
Produce budgets and plans for specific inspection campaigns, manage the cost control process and
ensure closure expenditure is within acceptable % of original budget.
Ensure that inspection activities are appropriately prioritised within operations maintenance plans.
Proactively monitor, review plant and equipment inspection plans, anomaly lists, and provide
feedback to Line Management.
