Book Designer And Contributor—Designed and contributed to an artist's book documenting Irene Moon's
residency and collaborative performances at the Institute for Electronic arts soon to be published by Institute for
Electronic Arts in Alfred, NY and included in the special and circulation collections of Scholes Library of
Ceramics at the New York State College of Ceramics.
Collaborator—February 18-28, 2009—Collaborative Auk Theatre with Irene Moon- Acclaimed Visiting Artist, Noise
musician and entomologist at the Institute for Electronic Arts. Co-wrote, designed, composed music for and
performed Aster Tide Auk in The Knight Club on February 26th in Alfred, NY and in The Gallery At Potential Life
Studios in Rochester, NY on February 28th.
Collaborator—January 2009- Present- a contributor to an ongoing collaborative painting with visiting artist, porn star,
and acclaimed painter Zak Smith who's piece "One Picture for Every Page of Thomas Pynchon's Novel Gravity's

Painting/drawing: 8+ years of coursework and professional exhibition experience rendering in oil, tempera, charcoal,
acrylic and other mediums. Can work technically for reproduction and/ or creatively.
Printmaking/ Design: 8+ years coursework and professional exhibition. Fully trained in multi color wood block, mono
print, lino etching, embossing, etching (aquatint, steel, zinc, acid prep, chin collet, dry point), lino, tri—color stone and
offset aluminum, copper and steel plate lithography, silkscreen, also included; digital printmaking experience using
scanners, canon rebel cameras, found digital images, Wacom tablets, Adobe Photoshop, and large format Epson and
design winder printers, Agfa Avantra 2 part large scale acetate printer, multi DVD printers. Experience designing and
preparing art books for publication using Adobe In Design and Blurb Book-smart.
Video /Sound: 10+ years coursework, professional exhibition, and performance. Skilled in instrumental, vocal and
performance improvisation. Skilled in the use analog and digital recording editing and mixing devices such as midi—
verb, patch—bays, MiniDV and VHS cams, transferring Mini DV and VHS to digital format, and editing, Skilled in
Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro editing, programs, some exposure to Jitter, After Effects, Analog chroma keying,
use of green screens, studio lighting, and has experience live mixing video and audio. Experienced documenting
gallery performances. Also experienced using stop animation, puppetry and miniatures.
Sculpture: 7+ years coursework, professional exhibition. Stone (by hand and by pneumatic dremel and chisels),
Wood ( Complex lamination, use of table, chop, hand and band saws, electric planers, and sanders, pneumatic
dremmels, drill press, lathe, experience hand carving, technical planning, and construction), Ceramics (extensive
experience in hand building, casting and creative construction in porcelain and earthenware. Electric and gas kiln
operation.) Also trained in pulling milling and casting paper from a variety of fibers. Trained in casting multi part
moulds in alginate, plaster, rubber, wax and others. Extensive experience making sculpture out of foam, wax, and
recycled materials. Glass (extensive experience in Tiffany— method art glass creation, slumping and enameling
glass), Highly skilled in sewing, weaving and costume design.
Art History and Criticism: 7+ years coursework completed in Ancient, European Medieval, Renaissance,
African, Chinese, and pan cultural shamanistic cultures, Modernism from the 19th- 20th Century, and contemporary
criticism and philosophy.

Costume Department Assistant- Miller Performing Art Center, January 2009-Present- worked independently and
with other fabricators to interpret costume designer's renderings into professionally crafted theatre and dance
garments for shows put on by the Miller Performing Arts Center, Alfred NY.
President of the Alfred University Alternative Cinema— Alfred, NY—2005—2007. Organized the showing,
advertising and booking of films, video, directors lectures, and artists performances.
Music- 2001-present— Ongoing performance and study in violin, and guitar. Trained in vocal jazz and opera.

OTHER HONERS
Accepted as a student- to world famous painter Neo Rauch based on a submitted portfolio of prints in conjunction
with funding from the Fulbright Association- Currently working on alternate funding for travel to Leipzig, Germany to
complete the project.

Finalist for the 2009 Fulbright Scholarship- Funding was not granted, the application, however gained the
enthusiastic support of the Alfred University Fulbright Committee based on the merit of the proposal.
