New Instance:
Tempestuous Temple

Introduction

A powerful wind has recently been sweeping across the Star Sand Desert. Sandstorms there have
become extremely destructive, causing the wildlife to disappear and threatening to upset the ecosystem
of the entire region.
Communication between the Church and the Sanknie has been disrupted by the weather. Rumor has it
that a mysterious temple of wind appeared in the desert, closeby to the entrance to Ozymands Temple.
Get over there and find out what's happening and who's responsible!
The entrance to the temple appears to be
near the entrance to the Ozymand Temple.

Entry requirements and means of access to the instance

The Tempestuous Temple


is a new instance for Lv 70 players. It can be accessed from the
Star Sand
Desert
. The entrance portal is the same one that's used to access the Ozymand Temple instance.

Poisons player with a deadly virus. DoT


(6114 points) is dealt to target over 10
seconds.
The virus spreads to nearby targets, dealing the
same Dot.

New Instance: Monster Research Institute

Introduction

Azurias scientists have managed to accomplish a feat like never before. Using a mysterious machine,
they have been able to reproduce the very same creatures that you have already battled in the past.

There are two instances:


Monster Research Institute (Item Mall mode);
There are no limits to the number of summons used.

You have access to only one summon per character a day.
Classic mode
Just like the Eidolon Temple, there are three difficulty levels.
Level 50 -> Zero Order Summoning Device
Level 60 -> 1st Order Summoning Device
Level 70 -> 2nd Order Summoning Device

Please note that if you leave the instance, the device will be lost.

New Instance: Gaia Sanctuary (Solo)


The same dungeon is back, but are you prepared to face the challenge?
Its Gaias Sanctuary, but available in single player mode.

Eidolons are easier to face, allowing players to get Greater Crests/Symbols, Loyalty Points and rare
fragments, even without a group.
Find the entrance at

New Raid: Sky Realm


Introduction
The adventures in the Sky Tower take place in the lands of the Sky Realm.
This is a new raid (40-player instance), which continues the narrative of enemies or allies first introduced
by the Sky Tower instance.
Level 70+

Suitable for:

Must be level 70 or above

Entry requirements:

Once a day - Only on the days it is open

Entry:

Thursday Friday

22:00 22:30

Timetable

Up to 40

Number of players:

You have 30 minutes to complete the level.


To sign up for the Sky Realm:
Use the Sky Realms dedicated interface and sign up as a party or create a
guild raid.
It works exactly the same way as the Sky Tower.

1 hour before the raid begins
, so between
14:00 and 15:30 between 19:00 and

First floor: Aveline


In the first floor, you will battle the mighty boss from level 12 of the Sky Tower. It has all new magical
abilities. Make it through this diabolical fight for amazing rewards.
In particular, you can obtain Aveline's Staff as a weapon skin, as well as tokens to obtain Tanith key
fragments.

Plan of attack
Once you have joined the raid, head to the middle
room to activate the instance..
The animation will start. Move on to the main
floor, where youll face Aveline..
Make the most of this time to get there, get in
position and ready yourself for the battle.
Use this time to prepare your teams for the battle.
Aveline will summon guardians and golems. Wait
until they approach her in the center of the
battlefield, then defeat them.
Element: Storm
Several smaller guardians will appear all around
the area, defeat these as well. By defeating an
enemy (hitting them, or being in the vicinity of a
player who hits them) you are given a token,
allowing you to buy unique items (Taniths key
fragment in particular).
Each enemy you defeat leaves an orb on the
ground which allows you to break Avelines shield.
A banner in the middle of the screen will display
your progress in reducing Avelines shield.
Element: Ice
The second phase of the fight is roughly the same
as the original Sky Tower floor, but much more
difficult. The damaging areas on the ground deal
more damage and spawn often, and Avelines HP is
greatly increased.

New weapon:
Holy Sword

Introduction

A new weapon for Aura Kingdom, the Holy Sword, manipulates the power of light and justice.
You can create a character with this new weapon by using the character creation interface.
It begins at
level 1 and follows the main quests.

Description of the weapon and its bearer:


In the name of all that is holy, I proclaim my glory, and wield my sword to judge all sins in the
mortal world. Those who hold the Holy Sword must have strong convictions and a brave heart, and be
able to show righteousness through sword fighting.
They can transform their faith into Divine Energy in battle, and use the Holy Sword to punish all
evil hindering their beliefs.

Weapon Mechanic
The weapon mechanic is as follows : You have an energy gauge which is consumed as you use a skill by
holding down on that skills action button (half a second is enough).
If the bar isnt full, holding longer wont do anything.
When using this meter, an additional effect (detailed below in the skills description) will be added to the
skill.
This gauge refills in 8 seconds.

This is unaffected by speed or any other stat. The 8 seconds are fixed, and weapon specialization is the
only way to reduce this time.

Fortification- Trophies and Accessories


You can fortify your accessories (ring, necklace, cape) and your trophies up to +20.
Upgrade your equipment and become the most powerful Envoy of Gaia!
You must use specific fortification scrolls to fortify these.

In order to do this, you will need to use specific scrolls for this upgrade.
You can find these scrolls:

Upgrading a Trophy or an Accessory applies an HP and DMG stats bonus as well as a bonus of
+9, +15,
+18 and +20,
just like any other equipment.

For example:
Golden Trophy lv 75 Torian's Legendary Cooking Utensils grants 2,540 DMG points and
3,111 HP after being upgraded to +20.
For example:
For a set of Lv 70 orange-quality Trophies and Accessories, if all of these are upgraded to
+20, the following bonuses will apply.
DMG: 12,293 pts.
HP: 15,059.

Halloween Quests
Its that spooky time of year again, and Halloween is soon upon us! To celebrate this, youll notice there
are two extra mini daily quests available in Aura Kingdom

Quest 1: Goal 1

Meet the boy at the ranch in Crescent Hill. Follow his instructions and complete the quest!
Reward:
Halloween treat bag containing one of the following items:

Bag of treats containing one of the following items:


Red Candy/Blue Candy/Green Candy
Monster XP Book
Weapon Fortification Scroll (from +0 to +9).
Armor Fortification Scroll (from +0 to +9).
Loyalty Points x10.

These treats increase player stats for 3 hours.

Journey into Cactakara Forest to visit its two pumpkin characters. They have a quest especially for you.

Gathering - Pickaxe

In order to prevent player confusion,


the Pickaxe and the Mithril Pickaxe can now be used for all
types of ore.

The Mithril Pickaxe is no longer sold by Grocers.


You can still keep your Pickaxe and use it if you
have one.

Adjustment to XP and Ethereal Crystal obtained by collecting items:

Skills
When using Ravagers Tornado Spin, the duration of the 1% absorption effect for DMG dealt to
HP has changed from
3 seconds
to
6 seconds.

Card Dueling

A penalty system for players who quit from a random match has been implemented. After you
quit a random match, you wont be able to play again for
10 minutes.

You can now open the card interface using a keyboard shortcut (V button).
You can change this shortcut via
ESC -> Settings -> Hotkeys
.

After you have finished the main quest, a portal becomes available, allowing you to challenge the
prophet Belenus to a card duel.

Eidolons Prayer
The number of Archaeology items the Eidolons require has been reduced.
15 Orange-quality archeological items
are now required instead of 25.

PvP

The group composition for arena battles has been altered in order to take into account your build
performance and your skills, in order to ensure groups are better balanced.

Daily quests

Dailies have now been divided up into five types:


Arenas (PvP);
Instances (Solo);
Instances (Party);
Secondary quests;
Other

The recommended instances will now take into account


character level
and will only display
instances for that level.

Achievements for arena dailies have been altered. You must now
collect a certain number of
points
instead of a certain number of enemies killed.

Rewards for dailies have been changed:


You can now win 250 Loyalty Points as well as the old rewards by completing your dailies.

Bug fixes
Game system and functions

PvE Enemy targeting fix


(Tab). When the enemy (usually Guzigia) was too big, there was a
functional issue with targeting them.

Axes no longer attack nearby enemies after using the Tornado Spin skill. This bug has been
fixed.
