Hi, I have a query about the origin of Mantraraja pada stotram.
In your blog its mentioned "Mantrarajapada Stotram is from the Ahirbudhnya Samhita, a Paancharaatra text and is told by Lord Parameshwarar in
praise of Lakshmi Narasimhar ".
I followed the url in blog http://www.srihayagrivan.org/html/ebook042.htm, in this ebook page 5 it says " INTRODUCTION TO SRI MANTRA RAAJA
PADA STOTRAM:
SrI Nrusimhan has many mantrams that assure us our protection from all afflictions. Mantram has been defined as "mananAm traayatE iti
mantra:".Mantram is defined here as that on recitation and japam protects the one who recites it. Among the many mantrams associated with Sri
Nrusimhan , the One
revered as "Mantra Raajan" is the most powerful one. It was created by the Sarvajn~an, Sri Rudran (Sankaran) and is housed in ISvara samhitai as
MantraRaaja pada stotram.
Please quote which is the correct samhita in which this great stotram can be found.

Hi Senthil,
I referred to Mukkur Swamis Book for confirmation.
He says like this
"Shree Eswara Samhithayil uzza Shree Mandra Raja Pathastotram" ..
Then he continue with "Ithu Shree Ahirputhya samhitayil irukirathu, Ahirbudyan Endru Shree Eshwaranuku peyar."
So I think the both references are correct.

very nice site. i am trying with my sincerest devotion and affection to Lord Lakshmi Nrisimha Swamiji, our Kuladeivam. i have a query pls clarify.
Mantrarajapatha Stotram is to be recited 3 times a day. Can i recite the stotra in the early morning without taking a bath as i am send my children to
school early in the morning i.e before 7 am. then only i can take bath. otherwise, i do puja and prayers and recite stotram during puja. pls let me know.

Hi Sundar,
Can you please try to stretch yourself and wake-up just 10min earlier.
That will give you time for taking bath.
It is not for Narasimha Swami Im saying this. It is for you.
I have felt the difference.
Bathing is good for the body and the mind can concentrate more once you take bath.
Even your task of sending kids to school will become more pleasant once you practice taking bath in the morning.
Please give it a try.

I believe it is the King of Sri Narasimha mantras. Is it mandatory to receive this mantra initiation from an Acharyan before beginning to recite?
I am currently reciting Sri LakshmiNrusimha Karavalamba Stothram, Sri LakshmiNrusimha Pancharathnam on my own, without initiation.

Hi,
I also believe its King of Sri Narasimha Mantram. As the name suggest, its the king of all mantras/slokas.
No need of any initiation as it is sloka and not mantra.
Im saying it for the past 10 years. My kid / spouse say it daily. It has given me so much peace of mind and lot more.
Once you start reciting it, after few years, you will see how beautifully, it has shaped your life...

to request some clarification. I know we have to recite thrice a day.. Is there a specific time slot.. for e.g. should we say this prayer in the morning
during/around Sunrise ?..Sometime I say morning prayer at 7.30 and sometime at 10AM,,, Is this right?.. What is the ideal time to recite in the
afternoon and evening..Can you please share the procedure you follow..

Dear brother,
morning i do it before i leave for work. 6.30/6.45 am... afternoon post lunch say at 1noon. evening after reaching home.
i dont follow timings strictly.... we recite 32 times sri mantra raja patha slokam on sat morning or if we miss it, we do on sunday morning....
anytime you feel in the morning / noon / evening should be fine....
