#MAKINGCOLLOIDALGOLD
1.Ina600mlbeaker,place2goldwires3/4inchfromeachother.Fillthebeakerwith500mldistilledwater.
2.Connectthewirestoa36vDCsourceat50ma(rememberthepolarityyouusedoneachwire),andstirthesolutionsprinklingapinchofpotassiumnitrate(KNO3)intothesolution.
3.Leavethesolutiongoingforthenextfewhours,andcheckoniteveryhour.Whenyouseethatthepositivewire(anode)iscoatedwithaburgundycolor,turnoffthepowerandremovethe
