When Press Ctrl-C to Start LSI Corp Configuration Utility... is displayed during the system startup, press
Ctrl+C to start the CU tool.

Restore Previous State: retains the state before the power-off which is restored after the
power-on. That is:
If the system was on before the power-off, the system turns on after the power is
turned on.
If the system is off before the power-off, the system remains in the off state after the
power is turned on.
On the System Boot Option page, you can set the first boot device of the server without
entering the BIOS.
The first boot device options include HDD, CD/DVD, Floppy/primary removable media,
PXE, and No override. This setting takes effect only once. After the system restarts, this
setting is invalidated.
HDD: boots the system from the disk.
Floppy/primary removable media: boots the system from the floppy drive or removable device.
PXE: boots the system from the preboot execution environment (PXE).

Make sure that you have exported configuration data before the upgrade.
Make sure that you have exported the latest configuration data after the upgrade.
2.
Stop databases.
In Windows or Linux operating systems, you can run shutdown normal in SQLPlus to
stop Oracle database services. If no application is running, you can run shutdown
immediate.
3.
Copy the sync.exe application program to the C:\ root directory on the host.
The program is downloaded from the Microsoft website. It is compatible with all
versions of the Windows operating system.

Go to the Command Prompt window and run cd \ to move into the directory containing
sync.exe.
Enter sync.exe to write memory data to disks.
To write data to a specific disk, run sync.exe r drive letter, for example, sync.exe r F.
