and post in a timely manner.
o WPS Website - manage/maintain online district calendar, post employment
opportunities,
board meeting agendas, district menus, athletic schedules, handbooks, etc;
write/create articles and feature stories; maintain current, relevant
information/events at all times.
o WPS FaceBook Page and Twitter - manage/maintain, monitor closely to preserve
the page
and the content that is posted in the comments and to the page; update
material throughout the day to keep relevant, positive, informational content in
the fore-front of the community at all times; research and implement methods
to increase viewing audience and to grow followers; reply to messages and
comments promptly to foster good relationships with the community; manage
content across the district to ensure every site is being represented
appropriately.
o Schoolcast - send out automated messages to relay information about upcoming
events to
students, parents and community members; send out approved automated
messages to inform parents of emergency/crisis events, emergency procedures
and to ensure peace of mind and the well-being of their child.
