Installation du Processeur

Suivez cette procdure pour installer un processeur Intel dans le paquet

775-land.
1. Appuyez sur le levier de chargement avec votre pouce (A), puis
dplacez-le vers le gauche (B) jusqu ce quil soit dtach de la
languette de retenue.

2. Soulevez le levier de chargement en direction de la flche un angle

de 135.
3. Soulevez la plaque de chargement avec votre pouce et votre index
un angle de 100, puis poussez le capuchon PnP pour le faire sortir
de la fentre de la plaque de chargement.
4. Placez le processeur sur le socle, en vrifiant que le triangle dor est
bien sur le coin infrieur gauche du socle. Le dtrompeur du socle
doit sinsrer dans lencoche du processeur.
5. Fermez la plaque de chargement, puis poussez le levier de
chargement jusqu ce quil senclenche dans la languette de
retenue.

Mmoire Systme

Vous pouvez installer des modules de mmoire DDR2 non taponne et non
ECC de 256 Mo, 512 Mo, 1 Go ou 2 Go sur les sockets DIMM.

Vous pouvez installer des modules mmoire de tailles variables dans les
canaux mmoire A et B. Le systme mappe automatiquement la mmoire
totale du canal de la plus petite taille pour une configuration double canal.
Tout excs de mmoire du canal de plus grande taille est alors mapp pour
un fonctionnement en canal unique.

Installez toujours des DIMMs avec une latence CAS identique. Pour obtenir
une compatibilit optimale, il vous est recommand de vous quiper des
modules de mmoire auprs du mme vendeur.
En raison des limitations dadressage de la mmoire sous les systmes
dexploitation 32-bits, lors de linstallation de 4 Go de modules mmoire sur
la carte mre, la quantit de mmoire utilisable par le systme dexploitation
peut tre gale ou infrieure 3 Go. Pour maximiser les performances de la
mmoire, il est recommand dinstaller un systme dexploitation Windows
64-bits lors de lutilisation de 4 Go ou plus de modules mmoire sur la carte
mre.

Informations du BIOS

Franais

La ROM Flash sur la carte mre contient un BIOS. Vous pouvez mettre jour les
informations du BIOS ou configurer ses paramtres en utilisant lutilitaire de Setup
du BIOS. Les crans BIOS comprennent les cls de navigation et une courte aide
en ligne pour vous guider. Si vous rencontrez des problmes lis au systme ou si
le systme devient instable une fois que vous aurez modifi les paramtres, chargez
les Paramtres de Rglage Par Dfaut. Rendez visite au site web dASUS (www.
asus.com) pour obtenir les mises jour.

Pour accder au Setup lors du dmarrage:

Pressez <Suppr> lors du Test Automatique de Dmarrage (POST : Power-On Self Test ). Si
vous ne pressez pas la touche <Suppr>, le POST continuera son programme de test.

Pour accder au Setup aprs le POST:

Redmarrez le systme en pressant <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Suppr>, puis pressez

<Suppr> lors du POST, ou
Pressez le bouton de rinitialisation situ sur le chssis puis pressez <Suppr>
lors du POST, ou
Eteignez et rallumez le systme puis pressez <Suppr> lors du POST.

Pour mettre jour le BIOS avec AFUDOS:

Dmarrez le systme depuis un disque flash USB contenant le dernier fichier image
du BIOS. linvite de commande DOS, entrez afudos /i<filename.rom> et appuyez
sur <Entre>. Redmarrez le systme lorsque la mise jour est termine.

Pour mettre jour le BIOS avec ASUS EZ Flash 2:

Dmarrez le systme et appuyez sur <Alt> + <F2> lors du POST pour lancer EZ
Flash 2. Insrez un disque flash USB contenant le dernier fichier image du BIOS.
EZ Flash 2 lance le processus de mise jour du BIOS et redmarre le systme
automatiquement une fois termin.

Pour restaurer le BIOS avec CrashFree BIOS 3:

Dmarrez le systme. Si le BIOS est corrompu, loutil de restauration automatique

CrashFree BIOS 3 vrifiera la prsence du fichier du BIOS sur le lecteur optique et
le disque flash USB. Connectez un disque flash USB ou insrez le DVD de support
dans le lecteur optique contenant le dernier fichier image du BIOS ou celui dorigine.
Redmarrez le systme une fois le processus de restauration du BIOS termin.

Informations sur le DVD technique

Cette carte mre supporte les systmes dexploitation Windows XP/Vista. Installez
toujours la dernire version dOS et les mises jour correspondantes de manire
maximiser les caractristiques de votre hardware.
Le DVD technique livr avec la carte mre contient des logiciels et de nombreux
pilotes et utilitaires qui amliorent les fonctions de la carte mre. Pour utiliser le DVD
technique, insrez-le simplement dans votre lecteur DVD-ROM. si Autorun est activ
dans votre ordinateur, le DVD affiche automatiquement lcran de bienvenue et les menus
dinstallation. Si lcran de bienvenue napparat pas automatiquement, localisez le fichier
ASSETUP.EXE dans le dossier BIN du DVD technique et double-cliquez dessus.

Um Schden an den Sockelpolen zu vermeiden, entfernen Sie

bitte die PnP-Kappe nicht vor dem Beginn der CPU-Installation.
Bitte bewahren Sie die Abdeckung fr den Fall einer Produktrckgabe auf.

Heben Sie den Ladehebel in Pfeilrichtig bis zu einem Winkel von 135 Grad
hoch.
Heben Sie die Ladeplatte mit dem Daumen und dem Zeigefinger bis zu
einem Winkel von 100 Grad hoch. Drcken Sie die PnP-Kappe von der
Ladeplattenaussparung, um sie zu entfernen.
Legen Sie die CPU auf den Sockel. Richten Sie dabei das
goldene Dreieck auf die untere linke Ecke des Sockels aus. Die
Sockelausrichtungsmarkierung muss in die CPU-Kerbe einpassen.
Machen Sie die Ladeplatte zu und drcken dann den Ladehebel, bis er in
den Halteriegel einrastet.

Arbeitsspeicher

Sie knnen 256MB, 512MB, 1GB und 2GB ungepufferte nicht-ECC DDR2 DIMMs in
den DIMM-Steckpltzen installieren.

Sie knnen in Kanal A und Kanal B verschiedene Speichergren

installieren. Das System bildet die gesamte Gre des kleineren Kanals fr
die Dual-Channel-Konfiguration ab. berschssiger Speicher des greren
Kanals wird dann fr die Single-Channel-Verwendung abgebildet.

Installieren Sie immer DIMMs mit gleicher CAS-Latenzzeit. Fr optimale

Kompatibilitt wird empfohlen, nur Speichermodule eines Herstellers zu
verwenden.

Aufgrund der Speicheradressenbegrenzung in 32-Bit Windows

Betriebssystemen knnen nur 3GB oder weniger vom Betriebssystem
benutzt werden, selbst wenn 4GB oder mehr auf dem Motherboard
installiert wurden. Fr eine effektive Speichernutzung empfehlen wir, dass
Sie ein 64-Bit Windows-Betriebssystem installieren, wenn Sie 4GB oder
mehr auf dem Motherboard installiert haben.

BIOS-Informationen

konfigurieren. Die BIOS-Anzeigen enthalten Navigations-anleitungen und eine kurze
Online-Hilfe, um Ihnen die Verwendung zu erleichtern. Falls in Ihrem System Probleme
auftauchen, oder das System nach dem Verndern einiger Einstellungen instabil wird,
sollten Sie die Standardeinstellungen zurckholen. Weitere Neuigkeiten finden Sie
auf der ASUS-Webseite (www.asus.com).

So ffnen Sie das BIOS-Setup beim Systemstart:

Drcken Sie <Entf> whrend des Power-On Self-Test (POST). Wenn Sie nicht <Entf>
drcken, fhrt der POST mit seiner Routine fort.

So ffnen Sie das Setup nach dem POST:

Starten Sie das System neu, indem Sie <Strg> + <Alt> + <Entf> drcken, und
drcken Sie dann <Entf> whrend des POST, oder

So aktualisieren Sie das BIOS mit AFUDOS:

Starten Sie das System von dem USB-Flash-Laufwerk, das die neueste BIOS-Datei
enthlt. Bei der DOS-Eingabeaufforderung tippen Sie bitte afudos /i<Dateiname.rom>
und drcken anschlieend die <Enter> (Eingabetaste). Starten Sie das System nach
dem Abschluss der Aktualisierung neu.

So aktualisieren Sie das BIOS mit ASUS EZ Flash 2:

Starten Sie das System und drcken auf <Alt> + <F2> whrend des POSTs, um EZ
Flash 2 zu starten. Schlieen Sie das USB-Flash-Laufwerk an, das die BIOS-Datei
enthlt. EZ Flash 2 fhrt den BIOS-Aktualisierungsprozess aus und startet das System
automatisch nach dem Beenden des Prozesses neu.

So stellen Sie das BIOS mit CrashFree BIOS 3 wieder her:

Starten Sie das System. Wenn das BIOS fehlerhaft ist, sucht das
Wiederherstellungshilfsprogramm CrashFree BIOS 3 automatisch nach einer
BIOS-Datei in dem optischen Laufwerk und USB-Flash-Laufwerk, um das BIOS
wiederherzustellen. Schlieen Sie das USB-Flash-Laufwerk an oder legen die
Support-DVD ein, welches bzw. welche die originale bzw. neueste BIOS-Datei enthlt.
Starten Sie das System nach dem Wiederherstellen des BIOS neu.

Software Support DVD-Informationen

Attenersi alle seguenti fasi per installare un processore Intel nel pacchetto 775.

stia installando una CPU.

Sollevare la levetta di carico nella direzione indicata dalla freccia ad un anglo

di 135.
Sollevare la placca di carico con il pollice e lindice ad un angolo di 100, poi
spingere la copertura PnP dalla placca di carico per rimuoverla.
Collocare la CPU sopra la presa, assicurandosi che il triangolo dorato si trovi
nellangolo in basso a sinistra della presa. Il tasto di allineamento della presa
deve adattarsi alla dentellatura della CPU.

Nelle prese DIMM, possibile installare DIMM DDR2 non-ECC da 256MB, 512MB,
1GB e 2GB unbuffered.
Nel canale A e nel canale B, e possibile installare una memoria di
dimensioni variabili. Per la configurazione a doppio canale, il sistema
esegue una mappatura delle dimensioni complessive del canale di
dimensioni inferiori. La memoria in eccesso presente nel canale di maggiori

operativo Windows a 32-bit, quando nella scheda madre si installa
memoria da 4GB o superiore, si possono effettivamente utilizzare circa
3GB. Per questo motivo, quando nella scheda madre si installa memoria da
4GB o superiore, consigliabile utilizzare un sistema operativo Windows a
64-bit.

Informazioni sul BIOS

La Flash ROM sulla scheda madre contiene il BIOS. possibile aggiornare le

informazioni del BIOS, o configurare i parametri utilizzando lutilit di configurazione
BIOS Setup. La schermata BIOS include tasti di navigazione ed una concisa
guida in linea. Se si riscontrano problemi con il sistema, oppure se questo diventa
instabile dopo avere modificato le impostazioni, caricare le impostazioni predefinite
di configurazione Setup Defaults. Visitare la pagina Web ASUS (www.asus.com) per
gli aggiornamenti.

Per accedere al Setup allavvio:

Premere il tasto <Delete> durante il POST (Power On Self Test). Se non si preme il
tasto <Delete>, il POST continua le sue routine di diagnostica.

Per accedere al Setup dopo il POST:

il sistema una volta completato.

Per ripristinare il BIOS con CrashFree BIOS 3:

Avviare il sistema. Se il BIOS danneggiato, lo strumento per il ripristino automatico

CrashFree BIOS 3 verifica lunit ottica e la memoria flash USB per verificare la
presenza di un file BIOS in modo da poter procedere al ripristino del BIOS: Inserire
una memoria flash USB o il DVD di supporto che contiene il file con la versione pi
recente o originale del BIOS. Riavviare il sistema dopo avere eseguito il ripristino
del BIOS.

Informazioni sul DVD di supporto al Software

Questa scheda madre supporta un sistema operativo (OS) Windows XP/Vista.

Installate sempre lultima versione OS e gli aggiornamenti corrispondenti, in modo
da massimizzare le funzioni del vostro hardware.

Il DVD di supporto in dotazione alla scheda madre contiene dei software utili e
diversi utility driver che potenziano le funzioni della scheda madre. Per cominciare
a usare il DVD di supporto, basta inserire il DVD nel DVD-ROM drive. Il CDmostra
automaticamente lo schermo di benvenuto e i menu dellinstallazione se Autorun
attivato nel vostro computer. Se lo schermo di benvenuto non compare
automaticamente, trovate e cliccate due volte il file ASSETUP.EXE dalla cartella BIN
nel DVD di supporto per mostrare i menu.

Levante la palanca de carga en la direccin de la flecha, hasta llegar a un

ngulo de 135.
Levante la placa de carga con el pulgar y con el ndice hasta alcanzar un
ngulo de 100, a continuacin, presione la tapa PnP desde la ventana de la
placa de carga para extraerla.
Coloque la CPU sobre el zcalo, asegrandose de que el tringulo dorado se

Puede instalar memorias de diferentes tamaos en los canales A y

B. El sistema mapea el tamao total del canal de menor tamao para

Informacin sobre la BIOS

La Flash ROM de la placa base contiene la BIOS. Puede actualizar la informacin de

la BIOS o configurar los parmetros utilizando la utilidad Configuracin de la BIOS. Las
pantallas de la BIOS incluyen teclas de navegacin y una breve ayuda en lnea para
guiarle. Si encuentra algn problema con el sistema o si el sistema se vuelve inestable

Inserte un disco flash USB que contenga el archivo de BIOS ms reciente. EZ Flash
2 realizar el proceso de actualizacin de BIOS y reiniciar automticamente el
sistema cuando haya finalizado.

Para recuperar el sistema BIOS con CrashFree BIOS 3:

Inicie el sistema. Si el sistema BIOS est corrupto, la herramienta de recuperacin

automtica CrashFree BIOS 3 comprobar la unidad ptica y la unidad de disco flash
USB en busca de un archivo de BIOS para restaurar el sistema BIOS. Inserte un
disco flash USB o el DVD de soporte que contenga el archivo de BIOS original o ms
reciente. Reinicie el sistema una vez que se haya recuperado el sistema BIOS.

siempre la versin ms reciente del SO y las actualizaciones correspondientes para

utilizar el DVD de soporte, inserte ste en su unidad de DVD-ROM. El DVD mostrar

Levante a alavanca na direco indicada pela seta e num ngulo de 135.

Levante o prato de carregamento com o polegar e indicador num ngulo
de 100, de seguida empurre a tampa PnP atravs da janela do prato de

Posicione a CPU por cima do socket, certificando-se de que o tringulo
dourado est no canto inferior esquerdo do socket. A chave de alinhamento
do socket deve encaixar no entalhe existente na CPU.

Memria do sistema

Flash 2 executa o processo de actualizao do BIOS e reinicia o sistema automaticamente

Para recuperar o BIOS com o CrashFree BIOS 3:

Arranque o sistema. Se BIOS estiver danificado, a ferramenta de recuperao automtica

CrashFree BIOS 3 ir verificar, na unidade ptica e no disco flash USB se existe algum

Obnoven systmu BIOS pomoc nstroje CrashFree BIOS 3:

Spuste pota. Pokud je systm BIOS pokozen, nstroj pro automatickou obnovu
CrashFree BIOS 3 zjist, zda se v optick jednotce a na disku USB flash nachz
soubor BIOS pro obnovu systmu BIOS. Vlote disk USB flash nebo podprn
disk DVD, kter obsahuje originln nebo nejaktulnj soubor BIOS. Po obnoven
systmu BIOS restartujte pota.

Instalai ntotdeauna modulele de memorie DIMM cu acelai timp de

Informaii despre BIOS

Memoria Flash ROM de pe placa de baz conine BIOS-ul. Putei actualiza informaia
sau parametrii din BIOS folosind funcia de instalare BIOS (BIOS Setup). Ecranele
BIOS includ taste de navigaie i scurt ajutor on-line pentru a v ghida. Dac ntlnii
probleme de sistem, sau dac sistemul devine instabil dup ce ai schimbat setrile,
ncrcai valorile de configurare predefinite (Setup Defaults). Vizitai situl ASUS (www.

Pentru a intra n meniul de instalare (Setup) la pornire:

Apsai pe tasta <Delete> n timpul procedurii de Power-On Self Test (POST). Dac

Pentru a face upgrade la BIOS cu ajutorul AFUDOS:

ncrcai sistemul de pe unitatea flash pentru USB care conine cel mai recent fiier
BIOS. Tastai afudos /i<filename.rom> n linia de comand din DOS i apsai pe
<Enter>. Repornii sistemul dup ce upgrade-ul s-a terminat.

Pentru a face upgrade la BIOS cu ajutorul EZ Flash 2 de la ASUS:

ncrcai sistemul i apsai pe tastele <Alt> + <F2> n timpul rulrii POST pentru a
lansa EZ Flash 2. Introducei unitatea flash pentru USB care conine ultima variant
de fiier BIOS. EZ Flash 2 execut procesul de upgrade pentru BIOS i repornete
automat sistemul dup ce procesul s-a terminat.

pomou uslunog programa. Ekrani BIOS-a podravaju navigaciju putem tastature
i kratka objanjenja svakog od parametara. Ukoliko va sistem ima probleme, ili je
posta nestabilan posle promena parametara, odaberite opciju Load Setup Defaults.

Pokretanje podeavanja BIOS-a

Da bi aurirali BIOS uz pomo AFUDOS-a:

Restartujte sistem preko USB fle diska koji sadri najnoviji BIOS fajl. U DOS promptu,
otkucajte afudos /i<filename.rom> i pritisnite <Enter>. Restartujte sistem kada je
auriranje zavreno.

Da aurirate BIOS uz pomo ASUS EZ Flash 2:

Startujte sistem i pritisnite <Alt> + <F2> tokom POST-a da pokrenete EZ Flash 2.

Ubacite USB fle disk koji sadri najnoviji BIOS fajl. EZ Flash 2 obavlja process BIOS
auriranja i automatski restartuje sistem kada zavri.

Da povratite BIOS uz pomo CrashFree BIOS 3:

Startujte sistem. Ukoliko je BIOS koruptovan, the CrashFree BIOS 3 alat za

automatsko vraanje proverava optiki drajv i USB fle disk za BIOS fajl da bi se
vratio BIOS. Ubacite USB fle disk ili DVD za podrku koji sadri originalni ili najnovili
BIOS fajl. Restartujte sistem nakon vraanja BIOS-a.

instalirajte najnoviju verziju operativnog sistema i sve patcheve da bi ste maksimalno
iskoristili potencijale vaeg sistema.

ubacite DVD, uvodni ekran e se sam startovati i ponuditi vam opcije za instalaciju,
ukoliko je Autorun opcija ukljuena na vaem raunaru. Ukoliko nije potrebno je da
pokrenete ASSETUP.EXE iz BIN direktorijuma na DVD-u.
