My Dear Parishioners,
First Sunday of Advent - During this time of the
year we are "bombarded" by advertising, festivities
and excitement, so let's take care of our faith. All of
this may make us forget the true meaning of Advent.
Let us all force ourselves to live this time with depth,
with the Christian sense. In this way we will live the
Nativity of our Lord in its fullness.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Pedro Umaa, OFM

A Prayer for All Our Families

O dear Jesus, we implore You to grant Your special
graces to our families. May our homes be the shrine of
peace, purity, love, labor and faith. We beg You, dear
Jesus, to protect and bless all of us, absent and present,
living and dead.
O Mary, as loving Mother of Jesus our Mother too,
pray to your Son for our families, and for all families of
the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the
schools of the young and their vocations.
Blessed St. Joseph, holy guardian of Jesus and Mary,
assist us by your prayers in all the necessities of life.
Ask of Jesus that special grace which He granted to you,
to watch over our homes at the pillow of the sick and
the dying so that with Mary and with you, heaven may
find our families unbroken in the love of the Sacred
Heart of Jesus.
Amen.
