C rystal Mantecón, a native of Dallas, Texas attended High School for

the Performing and Visual Arts as a Vocal Major. There she won
awards at Jazz festivals across the country, and performed locally
in plays, including the internally complex lead role in the acclaimed
play Why We Have a Body written by Claire Chafee. A strong command of
her craft coupled with a unique beauty that comes from her Mexican and
Cuban ancestry got a local talent agent’s attention. Her talent and diverse
look gifted her opportunities to work with many Oscar Nominated actors,
with projects in the works her star is rising at a fast pace with no signs of
letting up.
