before coming to a conclusion, so that the conclusion I would arrive at would not be
corrupted by an altered view. My sister is one of the most outspoken and certain women
I know. Watching her always stand up for what she believes is something that I have
always admired as such strength and I was inspired to make it a goal for myself .
I can look towards my best friends and see the struggles in their lives , realizing
that some of their own passions in life are socially looked down upon . Accepting others
for who they truly are is something that means a lot to me . No one should have to go
through a life where they feel ashamed or discouraged for being the person they are ,
because why should you feel feel at fault fault for being who you are? I would like to be
able to say I would still be the person that I am today without the help from my family ,
but could that even slightly be true? Probably not . I need the people that are in my life,
without them I would be lost in a world full of misconceptions and judgements . Without
them I could have very well grown up to be someone I look at and pity. For a person
with no family, a person with no friends, isnt very much of a person at all. I need these
relationships in my life, even the ones that I sometimes struggle with , because the ones
you struggle with are the ones that teach you the most in life . For each friend we have I
believe we can learn something that can change the way we view ourselves . I am
passionate about my friends because they help show me what I am passionate about in
life. I needed my closest friend in my life to show me the struggles struggles like what?
that gay people had to experience every day, and still do. I needed my girlfriend to open
my eyes to issues that are developing globally, with womens rights and feminism. I
needed my Mother, Father and Sister no need for capitalization to teach me about
acceptance and the ability to treat others with the same respect I would treat them .
These topics are my passions but these people are my passions that cant be ignored .
I feel this is very expressive and insightful to who you are as a person
when looking at this stance on equality for everyone. Specifically, the effect
people who taught him on that very equality such as your best friend and
gay rights. It could use a specific story that shows how his view points were
tested and how they have been shaped over time. Such as, what about gay
rights specifically did you learn from your best friend? womens rights and
your girlfriend? This did not seem repetitive. It is clear that equality is
pivotal in your life. I suggest that you better differentiate between your
passion for your family and friends and your passion for the equality that
they taught you. Conclusion? This is very well written!
