The majority of my audience are students. To appeal to this


audience, I could use a star around the same age, as they can
act as an opinion leader. This is and example of two-step
theory, which explains that an audience consumes a text
because they trust the star/opinion leader. Nearly 30% of
my audience are working part-time and 9% work full-time.
So this could mean, they dont have time to read magazines. I
could make my magazines content available on other media
platforms to target a wider audience. This is an example of
audience segmentation.

important, as this is the genre of my genre. This means that

of serif typography in my magazine would be effective as the
majority of my audience are female and serif typography has
