Provide system in sections optimized for maintenance (16 maximum for diameters over
32), connected by zippers. Zippers must provide closure completely around the
circumference to prevent leakage.
Each section to have a unique tag including information about: manufacturers order
number, position, diameter of section, length of section, maintenance instruction, code
compliance and contact details for spare parts.
Zippered inlet connection.
Endcap can be zippered or sewn to the last duct section as required.
Equalizers (flow correctors) and/or dampers to be included as shown on plans or
schedules.
Include hooks which slide into track profile or snap on to wire/cable or continuous fabric
strip which slides into track if shown in detail or noted on plans
Include SS inlet clamp for securing to metal outlet connection point.
Do not use fabric duct air diffusers in concealed locations (unless pressurized plenum
space intended for air distribution).
Fabric diffusers shall be designed from minimum 0.25 water gage to 3 as the maximum
0.5 being the standard.
Design temperatures between 75F and 230F
Manufacturer shall approve all technical design parameters.

Single Cable/Wire Suspension - One row cable system located 1.25 above 12 oclock
of Fabric duct system. Fabric Duct system to be attached to hardware using one single
row of plastic hooks located 12 oclock spaced 20 inches. Hardware to include cable,
cable clamps, turnbuckles, and tie down straps as required. Support hangers spaced at
16 feet.
Double Cable/Wire Suspension - (Recommended for diameters over 32) Two row
cable system with hooks located at 3 and 9 oclock on Fabric duct system. Fabric Duct
system to be attached to wire / cable using double row of plastic hooks located 3 and 9
oclock spaced 20 inches. Hardware to include cable, cable clamps, turnbuckles, and tie
down straps as required. Support hangers spaced at 16 feet.
Triple Cable/Wire suspension (Recommended for diameters over 54) Fabric Duct
system to be attached to cable/wire using three rows of plastic hooks located 3, 12 and 9
oclock spaced 20 inches. Hardware to include cable, cable clamps, turnbuckles, and tie
down straps as required. Support hangers spaced at 16 feet.
Single aluminum track profile - Fabric Duct system to be attached to track profile using
plastic gliders located at 12 oclock spaced 20 inches or continuous reinforced fabric
strip. Wire/cable hangers spaced at 6.6 feet. *Note to increase spacing up to 13 specify
reinforced track option.
Double aluminum track profile (recommended for diameters over 32) Fabric Duct
system to be attached to track profile using plastic gliders or reinforced fabric strips
located at 9 and 3 oclock spaced 20 inches or continuous reinforced fabric strip.

Provide adequate pre-filtering (MINIMUM EU3/MERV 5) prior to the fabric duct system, all
according to manufacturers specifications.
Provide fans supplying constant static pressure or VAV systems permitted if included in initial
design and Fabric ductwork is designed accordingly.
Soft starter, VSD,VFD, recommended when possible.
PART 3 - INSTALLATION
3.1
PART 3 - EXECUTIONExamine area and conditions under which the Prihoda Recycled Fabric Duct
system is to be installed. Do not continue any installation until unsatisfactory conditions have
been corrected.
PART 3 - EXECUTIONInstall chosen suspension system in accordance with the requirements of the
manufacturer. Installation instructions to be provided by the manufacturer with product.
PART 3 - EXECUTIONCoordinate layout with suspended ceiling, lighting layouts, and similar finished
work.
SCHEDULE 2 - CLEANING
PART 3 - EXECUTIONClean air handling unit and other ductwork prior to the Prihoda Recycled fabric
duct system as it is installed. Make sure that all dust and debris from installation is removed
from the air handling unit and other ductwork before connecting the fabric duct system.
