Short Assignment 3
In presenting my research paper in three different genres, I would need to use
sources from my research paper as well as two additional sources. I would only be
using the sources that were the most helpful in writing my research paper and would
have the most useful and relevant information and data to include in the three genres.
I would be using some similar sources for both my blog and brochure because
both would be covering similar topics and ideas. The two sources that I would be using
for the brochure and blog are the journal Measuring the Impact of New Technologies
through Electronic Banking on Profitability of Banks: Evidence from Indian Banking
System by Vikas Gautma and the journal Impact of Internet Growth on the Online
Stock Trading in India by Sarika Srivastava because both of these journals were the
most widely used sources in my research paper and both contain a lot of useful
information that would be relevant and effective in both the brochure and blog. Both of
these journals has a lot of useful information on the changes and effects that the
internet has had on the stock market, which would help me fill out the brochures section
on changes and effects that the internet has had on the stock market and would have
the necessary information for me to write a well written and informative blog post for my
blog.

For the brochure, I plan on using the journal Bankers Perspectives on Internet
Banking by Ravi Nath, Paul Schrick, and Monica Parzinger because this source had a
lot information on the changes and effects that the internet banking has had on the
profitability of banks, which would help me fill out the section of the brochure on the
changes and effects of the internet on banks.
For the blog, I plan on using the interview with Bruce Johnsen, who is an expert
in the field, because his interview answered many questions and brought up good
points. For the blog and photo essay, I would be using the article Chart: Bank of
America is Closing Branches as Moile App Users Grow by John Maxfield. This is the
article with the image depicting how the number of electronic banking mobile app users
increases, the number of branches at Bank of America decreases. This information
would be useful for my photo essay because of the image and useful for the blog
because it makes for a good discussion for a blog post.
The two additional sources that I plan on using for assignment 3 are going to
have to contain images that I could use for my photo essay because I would not be able
to create a photo essay with the two images that I currently have.
