PROJECT PROFILE:
M. Tech Project (Under Guidance of Dr. V. Ravi, Professor, IDRBT)
Project Title: Hybrid Intelligence System for Data Imputation (1 year of
Project work during 2nd year of M. Tech)
Description: My project mainly addresses imputing the missing data problem,
which exists in various domains. We proposed 8 novel methods by using
various techniques viz., Extreme Learning Machine (ELM), Evolving
Clustering Method (ECM), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Particle
Swarm Optimization (PSO), Counter Propagation Neural network (CPNN),
Gray System Theory and Auto Associative Neural network (AANN). We
obtained better accuracy as well as speed compared to earlier existing methods.
Some of these hybrids are originally developed by us and never existed before in
literature.
Environment: MATLAB
B.E Project
Project Title: Quick Draw McGraw
Description: Implemented various functions of MS Paint using C programming
and developed a tool. You can create your own sketch or drawing by using this tool.
Environment: C programming

TECHNICAL/Software SKILLS:
MATLAB, SAS E-Miner, IBM SPSS, KNIME, NeuroShell, RapidMiner, C Programming
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
Completed 1 year of M. Tech project work in IDRBT (R & D center of RBI),
Hyderabad, India.
PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:
Worked with SAS E-Miner, IBM SPSS Modeler, KNIME and MATLAB for solving
following business problems on real life datasets from Indian banks at the
Center of Excellence in CRM and Analytics, IDRBT under the CRISP-DM
framework.
Title#1: Defaulter Prediction Modeling
Description: This project mainly focuses on predicting the potential future default
customers based on the historical loan data of customers. In this process we build
different predictive models using techniques like Decision Trees, Logistic
Regression, Neural Network, and Support Vector Machine, and then applied the
best model on the production data under 10-fold cross validation setting.
Environment: SAS E-Miner Client 12.1, IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0 and KNIME 2.10
Title#2: Customer Churn Prediction Modeling
Description: Predicting the degree of Churn involved in each customer to reduce
churn. This project mainly focuses on predicting the potential future churners
based on the historical savings bank account data of customers. We built
predictive models using different techniques like Decision Tree, Logistic Regression,
Neural Network, and Support Vector Machine and then applied the best model on
the production dataset under 10-fold cross validation setting.
Environment: SAS E-Miner Client 12.1, IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0 and KNIME 2.10
Title#3: Market Basket Analysis
Description: This project is mainly used to perform cross-sell and up-sell of the
products. We identified the products that are purchased together based on the
customer buying patterns by employing a priori algorithm, and then suggested the
right product to the right customer to buy.
Environment: SAS E-Miner Client 12.1, IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0 and KNIME 2.10

Title#4: Analyzing the Migratory Customer Behavior Dataset: China

Telecom Comp
Description: Customer clustering is used to identify behavioral patterns of
customers so that businesses can align their marketing strategies with customer
preferences using target marketing and retain them.
Environment: MATLAB.
Title#5: Fraud Detection Modeling in Automobile Insurance
Description: This project mainly focuses on predicting the fraudsters who made
fraud to claim their automobile insurance based on the historical insurance
claimed data of customers. In this process we build different predictive models
using techniques like Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Neural Network, and
Support Vector Machine, and then applied the best model on the production data.
Environment: SAS E-Miner Client 12.1, IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0

Title#6: Customer Segmentation

Description: This project is mainly used for Target marketing and campaign
management. Customers are segmented based on their demographical and
transactional details. In this process we build models using clustering techniques.
Environment: SAS E-Miner Client 12.1, IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0
Title#7: Recency, Frequency and Monetary (RFM) Analysis
Description: This project is mainly used for estimating the customer lifetime
value based on RFM Score. It is a useful method to improve customer
segmentation by dividing customers into various groups for future personalization
services and to identify customers who are more likely to respond to promotions. In
this process we build a model using IBM SPSS Modeler.
Environment: IBM SPSS Modeler 15.0
