Introduction
In this particular project paper the business plan of a clothing shop in UK is being undertaken.
The name of the clothing shop is chosen to be Trendz getter. The clothing shop is associated
with the retail and selling of clothing items of all age groups and irrespective of season, religion
and gender. Apart from providing clothing items the store is also provides services and products
like shoes, gloves, mufflers, winter caps and many such items. Special attention is being given to
the line of fashion trends and also in childrens wears. The following business plan analysis is
being conducted keeping in mind the business format and industry of the aforesaid business plan
of clothing store (Fernie, 2009).

Task 1

Task 2
Involvement and role of stake holders:

Stakeholders are the driving force of any business organization and without them the
functionality of the specified business cannot be completely successful. In this particular case
scenario the success of the business plan of a clothing store is also dependent on the involvement
and equal and important participation of the stakeholders (Taplin, 2004). The organization of the
authorities in organizing the stakeholders in the right perspective and using them in their
specified sectors should be the major aspect of concern for the clothing store business.

Supplier
Workers
Customers
Raw material suppliers

a) Suppliers: The suppliers are responsible for the delivery of raw materials and other such
useful accessories without which the manufacturing as well as the final delivery of the
cloths cannot be possible. The business plan focuses on delivering the suppliers with their
necessary requirements of training in the specified field of fashion and clothing. The
suppliers must be paid with a sufficient sum of money in order to keep their long relation
with the business organization.
b) Workers: The manufacturing unit contains numerous workers those who are actually
responsible for the manufacturing and entire styling process. The manufacturing process
includes the staining, stitching, cleaning of the garments. The styling team contains the
designer, colour semantics provider and texture artists (Hale, 2005). The cumulative
effort of these members makes the whole manufacturing and styling of the trending
clothes in the market. So a good pay scale might be beneficial for the workers that the
business plan will include.
c) Customers: A very good and cordial relation with the customers will increase the market
preference of the clothing store in the UK market. There must be inclusion of offers in the
clothing store on occasions of festivities so that the customers can get attracted to the
latest trends of the market. The customers must be handled by specific sales executives so
that they can understand the specific needs of the customers and respond to their
requirements accordingly.

d) Raw material providers: In the clothing manufacturing and designing industry the quality
of the cotton used in the garments are needed to be of supreme quality in order to make
the clothing line trending and at the same time of high quality (Rath, 2002). The quality
of the products attracts more and more customers to the business. The clothing business
organization team must ensure the gathering of materials like cotton, stitching tools,
buttons and other accessories from reliable sources.

Scenario 2
Task 3
Economic system in the allocation of resources:

The business plan is associated with a clothing store located in UK which has been organized
keeping in mind the major concern of attraction to be the youth of the society as the garments
supplied by the clothing store are mostly designer made and trending in the market. The
entrepreneur is now planning to expand the business and include some more investors in the
business.
The first thing about including investors and building up a partnership with other entrepreneurs is
that they should be included from the same industry in order to sustain the business forward. The
entrepreneur must educate the investor from another working background about the economic
market of the present region of UK (Jones, 2006). The market of UK is very progressive when it
comes to garments and fashion clothing lines. Some of the very eminent garment designing
brands is present in the country. So establishing a business in the region is very much profitable
from the economic stability of the business. The entrepreneur must educate in the proper market
of the present scenario and the trending styles of the fashion industry that might be implemented
in the clothing line of the store to make it more persuasive for the visitors.
Monetary policies of the organization:

The basic necessity and involvement of an investor in the organizations business structure needs
to be precise in all respects. The monetary and fiscal policies of the business organization
determine the participation of the investors in the business organization and their desired
outcomes. The authorities must set and explain the monetary policies to the investors before
signing them into their business. The monetary policies are aligned with the economic structure
of the region in which the business is being conducted.
Trendz getter is situated in the heart of the city of London and thus the amount of customer
base for the organization is immense and is developing day by day. To accommodate this strong
customer base the entrepreneur should look out for establishing new stores in new locations so
that more customers are involved in the business (Lewin, 2010). The major investment of the
business is in the sector of purchasing raw materials and in the cost of supply, store maintenance
and logistics. The partners of the business must be aware that with their participation in the
business the business structure will increase and their investments will also need to be more than
they usually needed to be so that the proper and highly efficient facilities must be provided to the
retail shop and the customers. With the increase in the business of the retail stores the share of
profit will also increase.
Competitors and pricing:

European market is filled with enormous garment and fashion clothing mega retail stores with a
large part of the market share in their pockets. The overall share of competition in the market of
the entrepreneur company is listed under the famous names like Asda, Next, Arcadia, Primark,
TK Maxx, River island clothing and many other such clothing tycoons. Thus the entrepreneur
must pierce into this widely distributed market and look for its own place with high quality
products and a very cost effective price (Raustiala, 2012).
The increasing number of supplier variations and market specifications in the garment industry
makes it much more difficult for the new business organizations to establish. The entrepreneur
must consult with the associated partners to involve in active marketing and promotional
activities that might be useful for the business development of the organization. Proper care must
also be put forward in the latest trending styles and fashion statements that are being introduced

in the market. An artist with the best creative artwork and ideas must be appointed as the lead of
the designing team of the garment store so that the customers can get the taste of the latest
fashion statements in the market.
The cost of the raw materials is the major investment in the industry of garments along with the
manufacturing cost (Fafchamps, 2002). Since the cost of manufacturing is standard for all
garment units and for all styles of clothes the major cost cutting mechanism should be
ascertained in the gathering of high quality raw materials at the best possible prices. With the
proper scrutinizing of the market there are several such distributors who can provide such offers.
The partnership of the entrepreneurship organization must be in association with mutual
distribution of responsibilities and trust. The final selling price of the clothing garments are being
set up by the consent of both the partners according to their related market distribution and
trending style statement in that region.
Demand and supply:

In any business organization the smooth flow of funds and products are related to the demand of
the market of that particular product and the supply of the business organization. The demand of
the garment industry in UK is flourishing and the growth is predominantly indestructible so the
demand graph is always high. Aligning with the high market demand the entrepreneur and the
partners must increase the productivity with the inclusion of more and more manufacturing
workers and designers.
The clothing mega store is also involved in the sales of shoes, caps, winter socks, childrens
wears and much more such garments. The seasonal clothing range in always in the market with
high demands and the partners should analyse the proper requirement of the market in this
regard.

Cultural inspirations:

UK is a very progressive market where the people are not afraid to try new looks and new outfits
so the range of clothing garments does not restrict to any specific cultural background. People
from any part of the country may be inclined to any styling garments irrespective of its cultural
inclination. Though there are certain specific style statements that are predominant in the
European countries that are associated with corporate looks and party wears and specially
designed childrens wear (Black, 2013).
Occasions like Christmas and New Year appears to be the most favourable for experimenting
with cloth wears and specially styled garments in the market. There are many such events like
these that make the clothing industry culturally inclined to a specific styling and designing phase.

Scenario 3
Task 4
International trade and global factors:

UK is a very vast market where the scope of international market distribution is very vast and the
market penetration of UK based garments in the international trade industry is also growing. The
UK market value of clothing industry is around $ 70 billion off which around one seventh is
imported goods and clothing items. The UK textile sector accounts for nearly 15% for manmade

fibres, 20% for cotton and silk made cloths, 13% household textile items and 10% for other
accessories items (Stoler, 2009).
The global market share of the UK clothing industry is mainly based on some of the worlds
largest clothing brands like Primark, Next etc. These brands have penetrated the market with
their cost effective price ranges and the quality of the materials they provide in the competitive
market. The UK market is comprised of almost 25% of retail stores in the country with 9% of
them in departmental stores, 10% in home shopping portals, and 7% for discounter and gift
shops along with sports shops. 2.7% in supermarkets and 2.2% in market stalls. Most of the
departmental stores are also engaged in distributed marketing with top super markets and online
business groups that makes them more precise in the clothing industry.
European Union on UK business:

According to the recent market analysis the present market share of the UK garment and clothing
industry accommodates around 7.28 % of the global market and is the 4 th largest in the world
map. The market share for the specific sectors of the garment industry in UK compromises of
53% in women wear, 26% in menswear, 20% in kids wear and 1.6% in other such accessories.
The UK market of garments and textiles provide the buyers with packaging and delivering of
shipments and also in the manufacturing part. This helps them in reliability of their product
maintenance and sales as well (Arntzen, 2015).

Conclusion
UK is a vast market in clothing and garment manufacturing and sales. The country has been
established itself with the greatest and the most trending fashion outfits and clothing ranges. The
London fashion week installs the prospect of fashion buffs in the country and makes it a huge
hub of customer inclusion around the world. A clothing store in the heart of the city of London
with the name of Trendz getter will increase the market demand of the company. The
entrepreneur and its partners should analyse the particular needs of the market requirements and

should also be in lined with the best designing artworks available (Majumdar, 2013). The project
paper includes a brief understanding of the business needs and the gathering of opportunities.
