Learn differnet blending stratagies.
Learn to blend images together smoothly, using masks.
Use filters.
Process:
I had a hard time with this one because there were several things that
didnt work well. I tried to do it like my sketch but it only made it more
difficult to use the missionary tag and had to nix it. I found it hard to
bring the two images together that flowed together. I need up making five
different ones and was not happy with any of them. This is the best one I
created. But it doesnt have that much of a montage.

I really enjoyed this one and seeing the design process move through. The
one I thought was going to be the most popular wasnt as popular because
people have seen it everywhere. I was fun finding new ways in figure out
what worked together and what didnt. I had fun with the last one because
I was watching the University of Washington football game while I did it so
I decided to do one with their colors. It did not look that good but it was in
the sprit of it. I tried to mess around with different layouts. I really think
this was my favorite assignment so far.

Process:
I set up the gateway fold in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I created
my logo in InDesign and then built off of it from there. I wanted to use
a cockpit so I built off of that at the top. I had to use different font to
try and contrast a little bit. I then cropped the airplane from the rest
of the image to create a text wrap. Then it was placing the airplane
and text in a way that it would flow and not look smooshed together.
One of the biggest things I learned way working with the master copy. I
did it originally on there and had to get it transferred onto new pages.

Noise Cancelling

Every pilot understands the most annoying part of a flight can most always be his or
her headset. Every pilot knows that it is important not to skip so you get the quietest
and most relaxing flight possible. The new ACV technology allows the noise cancelling
be rated with Bose headsets. It was also named a consumer digest best buy two years
in a row. For the quality and price you cant beat them. This also allows you to Bluetooth your phone so can make calls or listen to music.

Glass Cockpit

The newest products that have launched allow

you to see the terrain that you fly in at night
and during the day is easier to know when and
where the terrain is. They are also designed to bee
your eyes when you are landing so you can focus
on the things that matter most like where the runways are.
They
allow you to focus on the important things while the new glass cockpits allow
pilots to hear their elevation and ground spread. Their HD screens are also easy
and clear to read in any weather with their anti glair screne.

Incorporate basic InDesign skills to improve basic flier layout.
Create a project folder with image, logo and InDesign document to keep
links intact.
Process:
For my Project I started with a sketch that I had done in the first phase
of the project. I then transferred it into InDesign. The original didnt look
correct and so I modified the stairs to just one box with text that had a
little bit of edge for the younger crowd I was trying to draw in. I tried to
create an even flow through the whole flier. I also replicated the black text
box with the same width for repletion. Everything form pictures to stairs
had repetition of three weather it be wording to three people in a picture.

Compress multiple files in a zipped folder to attach as one file.
Process:
I crated this logo using text wrangler. I had never done anything like this
before. I learned how to write code for HTNL and add in a CSS guide. It
is crazy to me how you can use letters and numbers to create content on
a page. I also used the W# code validator to make sure everything was
working correctly. I also was able to attach my logo to the web page so that
it could be seen. I pulled in my colors from my logo by using the color codes
in photo shop from my actual logo . Getting everything right on the CSS
sheet was hard to make it do exactly what I wanted it to do.

Size and crop the image.
Adjust image brightness, contrast, hue and saturation levels.
Use a selection tool to isolate a portion of the image.
Desaturate the selected portion of the image.
Use a filter or colorize a portion of the image.
Process:
This assignment as much as I hate to admit it was really fun. I went out
to the ranch and shot different scenes of the hills and animals. It was fun
leaning how to properly shoot pictures in an uncontrolled environment.
Getting the right setting on the camera was hard at times but it was good
to have the practice to reshoot to get a different effect.
My Focus Background was the hardest to shoot. It was difficult to get the
cannon I was using to not focus in on it when I got the right aperture it
finally figured it out. I was surprised at how much fun it was and challenge
to get the right shots.
