SESSION 3: Instruction for Teachers

Introduction of session 3:

1. The teacher asks the students to log in to:

2. Then, the teacher asks the students to guess the words.

3. The teacher explains to the students that, in this session, they are going to learn about
“Quotation, Citation and Reference”

Session 3 (A): Pre activity 1 ( Quotation)

1. The teacher asks the students to log in to:

http://www.unc.edu/depts/wcweb/handouts/quotations.html

2. After the teacher make sure all the students manage to log in to the website, he/she will
start a discussion about the article. The teacher will have a Q and A session with the students
regarding the related topic.

3. Then, the teacher asks students to get into pair with the person next to him/her. The teacher
asks the respective pair to log in to :

http://www.scribd.com/doc/29009417/Fill-in-the-Blanks-Activity and download the work

sheet.

4. After that, the teacher asks the students to answer the work sheet based on the online
article that they have read.

5. Once the pairs completed the work, the teacher asks them to upload their answer in the
Ning’s website under: Forum: Session 3 (A) Pre activity 1

6. Then, the teacher discusses the answer with the students.

Session 3 (A): While activity 1 ( Quotation)

1. The teacher asks the students to log in to:

2. After the students have completed the quiz, the teacher asks the students to print screen the
result and post it to their own profile page.

3. The teacher will discuss the answers with the students.

2. New window will pop up and click on ‘view the tutorial’

3. Slide show presentation will be played. Go to slide no 13 and start to view the slide.

4. The teacher discusses the slides with the students.

Session 3 (A): While activity 2 ( Citation)

1. The teacher asks the students to log in to:

2. After the students have completed the quiz, the teacher asks the students to print screen the
