God has blessed our family of faith with a wonderful
new family, RANDY and ANDREA NEWBY. They
have a baby girl named ELIZABETH who has been
frequenting the FBC nursery. What a joy it is to add to
our team that advances the Good News of Jesus to our
community of Hamilton and beyond. I pray you will
join with me in helping this family in getting further
assimilated into our mission here at First Baptist.
My prayer for Easter at FBC is that each of us will
invite ONE person to join us for worship on Sunday
morning. I am a firm believer in the power of the
resurrection and that it still rings true for all persons
today. I believe that lost people can be saved and that
those in despair can find hope in hearing the story of
Easter. We have this great opportunity to reach out to
someone who needs Jesus and to hear how each person
who calls on the name of the Lord can be saved and
live resurrected lives! Who will you bring with you to
hear of the hope of God conquering death so that we
may have eternal life?
Our Sympathy and Prayers... Our love and
support, sympathy and prayers go out to the
family of Stanley Gillham who went to be with
Christ this past week. We join together as a
family of faith and pray for this family as we
celebrate Christ’s gift of eternal life.
EASTER LILIES ...If you wish to honor someone or
in memory of someone, lilies are $9.50. Please
contact the church office to reserve a plant. Plants
may be taken home after the service on Easter Sunday.
