requiresasanitaryimportpermit,aswellasa"NoObjectionCertificate"(NOC).ANOCmustbeobtainedinadvance
fromtheAnimalQuarantineandCertificationServices(AQCS).Productsinclude:

Aminimumof48hoursisrequiredbytheAirportHealthOfficefortheimportationofhumanremainsorashes.Adeath
certificateisalsorequired(inEnglishortranslatedintoEnglish).Adeathcertificateindicatingcauseofdeathas
unknownorpendingwillnotbeaccepted.Pleasecontactairlineforfurtherrequirementsthatapplytothecarriageand
importationofbodies.

Crewmemberscustomsregulations::
Nodutyfreeallowance.CrewmembersmustdeclarealldutiablegoodsonthePPL(PrivatePropertyList).

Pets::
CatsandDogs:importofamax.oftwopetsasbaggageisallowedonly:
a.throughBengaluru(BLR),Chennai(MAA),Delhi(DEL),Kolkata(CCU),Mumbai(BOM)andHyderabad(HYD)
and
b.ifapetisbeingimportedforthefirsttimebyanownerownerwhoistransferringresidencetoIndia,afteraminimum

c.uponpresentationofhealthcertificatesfromcountryoforiginand
d.presentationofa"NoObjectionCertificate(NOC)arrangedatleast15dayspriortoimportfromtheAnimal
QuarantineandCertificationServices(AQCS)and
e.afterQuarantineOfficerexaminationuponarrival.
Inallothercases,alicensefromDGFT(DirectorateGeneralofForeignTrade)isrequired.

BaggageClearanceregulations::
BaggageisclearedatthefirstairportofentryinIndia.
Exempt:baggageoftransitpassengerswithadestinationoutsideIndia.

AirportEmbarkationTax
Noairporttaxisleviedonpassengersuponembarkationattheairport.
