GUIDELINES
1. Project report size: At least 80 pages.
2. Binding: Hard bound, Writing Golden color only
3. Paper size: A4
4. Total number of hard copies: 2 (1 for GTU, 1 for
Student)
5. Total number of soft copies: 1 CD (CD Label should
contain: Title of the project, Name of the student,
Semester, Class, Roll No., Enrollment No., Academic Year,
Name of the faculty guide)
6. Heading/Sub headings: Left justified & bold. Main
heads, Sub heads, Sub heads of sub heads do have font
size of 18, 16 & 14 respectively. No underline, No bullet &
No colon (:).
7. Margins: left: 1, right: 0.6, top: 0.5, bottom: 1.
8. Line spacing: 1.5 lines.
9. Paragraph spacing: Double lines.
10. Normal text font type: Arial.
11. Normal text font size: 12
12. Alignment: justify.
13. Page borders/shades/Headers: No.
14. Bold/Underline/Italic: Should be used for specific
purpose only.
15. Word breaking: No. Otherwise use Hyphen
16. Footnote: Should be added on the every pages of
main text only. It should be left justified. It should be
AITS, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT along with the
tiny AITS logo before the footnote.
17. Page number: Except the font matter, rest of pages
should numbered in decimal (1, 2, etc.) at right side.
18. Bibliography/References: APA format only.

19. Color page print: Preferred for charts & illustrations.


20. Diagrams, charts, tables, and illustrations,
figures: Should be centered with the appropriate
numbered caption below.
21. More than one student can do their project
together in case of long project work.
22. All students must have to submit companys
approval letter.
23. All students must have to submit HR personnel
name with contact numbers & email id.
24. All students must have to report to concerned
faculty guide fortnightly.
25. Your project duration should be 5th June 2015 to
20th July 2015 only. And the same duration should be
highlighted in your project report viz. company certificate,
declaration page.
26. All students must have to adopt the provided SIP
sequence in their project report.
27. Statistical (Hypothesis) testing is mandatory.
28. Primary research (field) work is the most
preferred.
29. Questionnaire should be designed after
understanding the applicability of statistical
parametric/non parametric tests.
30. At least 12 close ended questions with only 1 or 2
open ended questions should be in the questionnaire.
31. It is preferred to do project work in the highly
reputed firms by considering your Grand Project
opportunity and the job opportunity in the same firm.
32. This project carries 6 credits means 200 marks.
33. Presentation of 15 to 20 minutes is compulsory
before the one external & one internal faculty.

34. Table of Contents page should be appearing


without table border.
