Operating Your
Airconditioner
Your airconditioner can be conveniently operated
using the intelligent cordless Remote Control.
1. Switch on the MCB. A red lamp on the Indoor
Unit glows when you power on the unit.
Time Delay
The compressor can be damaged if the electrical
supply stops and resumes immediately. To protect
the compressor, a Time Delay is incorporated
into the circuit. The Time Delay ensures that the
compressor switches on only after a delay of
about 3 minutes after (a) power is interrupted
momentarily, or (b) the COOL mode is selected.
For more details on the COOL Mode, see p.18.
2. Press the ON/OFF button. Your AC switches
on with parameters that were set before power
was switched off. In case of power failure too,
your AC retains previous settings in memory,
and resumes with earlier settings upon
resumption of power.
3. Select the COOL, DRY or FAN mode by
pressing the MODE key.

After 2 hours, and an increase in the Set
Temperature by 2C, your AC maintains the
temperature at that level without further increase.

Louvre Swing
Your AC has oscillating louvres for uniform cooling
around your room. You can stop the oscillation if
you so desire.
Upon switching your AC on, the louvres are set to
oscillate by default.
1. Press the SWING button to stop the oscillation.
Press again to restart oscillation.
2. To control the direction of flow in a particular
direction, press the AIR DIRECTION button
when the AC is in operation. Hold this button
until the direction of flow suits you. Release
the button at this point.
Notes:
1. The AIR DIRECTION and SWING buttons are
disabled when the airconditioner is not in
operation (including when the ON TIMER is
set).
2. Do not operate the airconditioner for long hours
with the air flow direction set downward during
the cooling or dry operation. Otherwise,
condensation may occur on the surface of the
vertical air flow louvre and cause dew dripping.
3. Do not move the horizontal louvre manually.
Always use the AIR DIRECTION button. If you
move the louvre manually, it may malfunction
during operation. If the louvre malfunctions,
stop the airconditioner at once and restart it.
