Our Philosophy
Since its inception over 40 years ago, the Center for Creative Leadership
has been at the cutting-edge of leadership development. Coaching has
been part of our research and education efforts ever since, starting
with our pioneering use of 360-feedback for development. We believe
coaching is one of the most effective tools available to take leadership
development to a deeper and more sustainable level whether focused
on the individual, groups, executive teams, or the entire organization.
CCL has nearly 600 coaches who have capabilities in a variety of
industries and fields, as well as expertise in diverse languages and
cultures across the globe. We have a strong reputation for quality,
experience and coaching-related research. Based on this foundation
of excellence, our promise is that your leaders and teams will work with
high quality coaches who will drive for results through a consistent
approach and who will be close to your organization not only in terms
of geography and language, but also in terms of corporate culture and
business experience. We believe that results do matterand that CCL
can deliver those results to your organization.

Our world is a rapidly changing one. In order to offer innovative leadership solutions, CCL researchers conduct
on-going research around topics such as coaching in an electronic environment, virtual teams, and flexible work
styles. This research is disseminated to our coaches and faculty for real-time use.
What We Provide
Experienced, Dedicated Coaches
with a Wealth of Resources
For coaching to be effective, a relationship of trust
must be established and a rapport built on mutual
understanding must be in place. Because of their
extensive experience, CCL coaches are able to quickly
gain a credible understanding of the individuals
responsibilities in any given industry, understand and
reflect the values of your organization, and be sensitive
to the culture in which a leader operates. In addition, our
coaches have the ability to influence and communicate
clearly and are able to teach these skills to others.
CCL continually recruits, trains and manages the best
and brightest coaches in the leadership development
field. On a global level, our coaches are rigorously
evaluated regularly and are supported by practiced
senior-level faculty.
We know that to be relevant, CCL coaches must be
current on the latest research, business trends and world
events. To aid our coaches in this, we have created a
community of support. Continuous training for our
coaches is offered and allows for the sharing of case
studies and innovative approaches among those working
in the field. As recognized by the International Coach

Evaluating Impact
CCL is the creator and exclusive provider of the Coaching Evaluation Assessment (CEA), a customizable product
that measures the impact of executive coaching. The CEA tracks goal progress, critical behavior change in the
leader being coached, and individual, team and organizational impact as judged by others. The flexibility of the
CEA allows for an accurate measurement of impact with a low investment of time by raters.
In addition to measuring the impact of single coaching engagements, the CEA also provides coaches with
feedback about their style and organizations with data that is critical to maintaining coach quality.
CCLs Evaluation Group can also create custom evaluations to fit a clients specific needs.
