The final exam will be about 50 minutes long, plus 10 minutes for

finishing up at the end. As before, there will be three sections. In the


first, you will identify 8 images seen in lecture, giving the works maker,
title and date (but not process or medium this time). Each pair of works
will be visible for 1.5 minutes. The second section will ask you to
compare and contrast two works, with the identification of maker, title
and date provided. You will be shown three pairs of images, and will
write a short essay, based on what youve learned in class, discussing
how the two works differ or are related. You will have five minutes for
each essay. In the third section, you will be given two essay questions,
and will choose ONE to address, using examples whenever possible.
You will have 30 minutes to compose the essay.
