Appendix A: Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act

The subjects of hybridization and transhumanism have recently
re-emerged as topics of discussion on the world stage. The very
idea that scientists are contemplating crossing man with beast
is disturbing to a lot of people. What many people do not know
is that there are various types of hybrids that have already
been conjured up in the minds of ancient cultures and in the
laboratories of modern science. In this chapter we are going to
take a look at those types of hybrids.
Science Fact vs. Science Fiction

Science and our government sometimes like to test the water
before releasing any major information to the general public.
The Island of Dr. Moreau (H.G. Wells) was written in 1896, and
a first movie was adapted from the book in 1977. The premise
of the movie was a doctor combining human and animal DNA to
produce hybrid creatures. In 1993 Jurassic Park sparked public
interest in cloning and DNA manipulation. In 1996 The Island of
Dr. Moreau was remade and Jurassic Park debuted on network
television, followed by the story of Dolly (sheep), the first
mammal to be cloned using nuclear transfer. Im not prone to
believe that there was a huge conspiracy to create these movies in order to condition us, but that these movies were used to
gauge the public reaction to DNA manipulation.
There does indeed seem to be a pattern associated with the
interest in and the appearance of hybrid creatures throughout
history. According to the pattern of recorded history, beings
from the sky appear to man just before major advances in
technology are made. There are several cultures that testify to
this cycle.

The reports of a sudden burst of technology in combination

with reports of beings from other worlds visiting earth lends
credibility to the claims of these cultures because we are reporting those same things in our current time. These were the
same cultures that believed human and animal DNA could be
combined to create new and fascinating creatures called hybrids or chimeras. The concept of a chimera is a human with
animal characteristics or animal with human characteristics.
There are those Christians that write many of these facts off as
mythology simply because they have been told to do so. Personal belief does not equate to factual information. Because
many people in church have been brainwashed into dismissing
everything because its not in the Bible, they will be in a
very dangerous spiritual position of trying to reconcile the lies
they have been taught, with the reality that is staring them in
the face.
The Transhumanist Agenda

Transhumanism is a modern word that describes the scientific
pursuit of becoming more than human. It is a combination of
the words Transcend and Human. This pursuit usually involves
the blending of human and animal DNA in order to create
something that is not fully human, but not fully animal. Although the word is new, as we can see from above, the concept
is very old and is reflected in almost every culture on earth.
For those of us that put our faith in the Bible, the pursuit of
hybrid creature should be expected.
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that
which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new
thing under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9
Many people do not consider Ecclesiastes to be a prophetic

book, but it is. In the opening chapter we learn that there is
nothing new under the sun. As we dig into the origins of the
Transhumanist movement, we find that to be the case. Humanitys past is filled with stories of hybrids, and there are people
currently attempting to revive those hybrids from our present.
In 2011 there was a BBC News report in which scientist shared
their desire to create a cow/human hybrid. In other words,
they want to re-create the Minotaur or something similar to it.

This BBC News video, announcing the project, can be found on

This is a subject that the mainstream church is not taking seriously or is completely ignoring altogether. This policy of burying our head in the sand is leaving people without Biblical answers to a very Biblical situation, and as a result, people are
seeking answers outside of the church. Once the Church denies
or ignores a situation, it gives the secular Transhumanists an
opportunity to indoctrinate those seekers with their beliefs and
ideals. The only way for the Church to counter this is through
first educating ourselves, and then educating others as to the
real dangers of our current scientific pursuits. The following is
a brief list of animal/human hybrids that are public knowledge:
Mouse/Human
Pig/Human
Sheep/Human
Rabbit/Human
According to official reports, these hybrids were not allowed to

grow to maturity, but the actions of state governments is
pointing to something different and possibly even more sinister. To date, three states have made it a felony to knowingly
create an animal/human hybrid and a misdemeanor to knowingly purchase one. Those states are:
Arizona
Louisiana
Ohio
One could argue that the Human-Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act

is a preventative law, but notice that it is a misdemeanor to
buy a hybrid. The fact is people break the law and it is almost
inevitable that someone will grow a hybrid to maturity and
there will be a demand for it. Because of their illegal nature,
these hybrids will become very high priced black market items,
making their creators extremely rich.

Animal Hybrids
Animal hybrids are a mixture of two or more animals that are
put together to make an entirely different animal. While the
animal my look similar to the animals it was created from, it is
an entirely new animal.

The above animal is known as a Zorse and it is a real animal. It

is the result of mixing a horse with a zebra in order to create
an entirely new animal that has characteristics of both parents.
Over the years there have been many different types of animal
hybrids created by mankind:
Cama (Camel + Lama)

Coywolf (Coyote + Wolf)
Killer Bees (African Bee + European Bee)
Liger (Lion + Tiger)
Mule (Horse + Donkey)
Wholphin (False Killer Whale + Dolphin)

Left to nature, these combinations of animals would almost

never occur. Traditionally it was taught that these sorts of hybrids were sterile, and in some cases it is true, but not all. In
1953, a fifteen year old female liger successfully mated with a
male lion. Wholphins have also been successfully mated as
well. Many people believe that this sudden interest in creating
hybrids is one of the problems that led to God destroying the
world with a flood in Noahs time.
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all
flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. Genesis 6:12
The traditional belief is that this only referred to mankind

and moral corruption, but the phrase all flesh is a phrase
that refers to all living creatures. Nowhere in the Bible is it
implied that animals have morals, so there must be a deeper
issue here. The Hebrew word for corrupt reveals the deeper
issue taking place in Noahs time.

Shachath destroyed, blemished animal, ravaged,
jeopardized, go to ruin, spoiled, wasted, laid waste.
Again, the verse also refers to all flesh. There is only one
chapter in the entire Bible that lists all of the different types
of flesh that God made and it is 1 Corinthians 15.

Men
Celestial/Heavenly
The Hebrew rendering of Genesis 6:12 seems to indicate that

all flesh, including the animals seemed to have been altered in
some way and not just morally corrupted.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Why would God destroy the world with a flood
if it was already being destroyed anyway? Why not just let people and
animals wipe themselves out naturally? There was something more
going on.
The next type of hybrid that we are going to encounter on this

journey is the animal-human hybrid.
Animal-Human Hybrids
Until somewhat recently, animal-human hybrids only filled the
myths and legends of various cultures from around the world.
However, our modern pursuits of strange science have moved
them from the pages of mythology into the pages of newspapers and magazines. Probably the most famous of all the myths
are the stories from the Greeks and Romans. Many of the tales
surround the gods that came down and began experimenting
with genetics in order to create animal-human hybrids. In one
story, Zeus plays a joke on King Minus wife in order to get her
to sleep with a bull and give birth to the Minotaur. Two more
very famous animal-human hybrids are the centaur (horse +
human) and the satyr (goat + human).

Another culture that had a vast obsession with hybrids was

Babylon. One of the hybrid creatures they worshipped was
known as the Shedu and was a man-bull-bird hybrid that demanded human sacrifice.

Now that we are at a point in history that we are able to bring

mythology into reality, we have to ask ourselves, what did ancient cultures know that we do not? Were these creatures actually real? And if so, how were they created? During 2011, a
New Castle University laboratory announced their intentions to
create a human-cow hybrid for the purpose of researching
cures for various diseases.

Scientists have created more than 150 humananimal hybrid embryos in British laboratories. The
hybrids have been produced secretively over the
past three years by researchers looking into possible
cures for a wide range of diseases. The revelation
comes just a day after a committee of scientists
warned of a nightmare Planet of the Apes scenario
in which work on human-animal creations goes too
far.1
Scientific experiments that insert human genes or
cells into animals need new rules to ensure they are
ethically acceptable and do not lead to the creation
of "monsters," a group of leading British researchers
said on Friday. While humanizing animals in the
name of medical research offers valuable insights into the way human bodies work and diseases develop,
clear regulations are needed to make sure humanization of animals is carefully controlled. Extreme scenarios, such as putting brain cells into primates to
create talking apes, may remain science fiction, but
researchers around the world are constantly pushing
boundaries.2

According to Ecclesiastes, the thing that has been is the thing

that shall be, which is another way of saying that what is happening in our time has happened before. Another way of saying
that is history repeats itself. As we continue, we will see
that its not just new humans being born that we have to worry
about, but the technology to turn adults into hybrids already
exists.
Germline and Somatic Parahumans

A Germline Parahuman is a hybrid that was genetically altered
before birth, but Somatic Parahumans are humans that are
turned into hybrids after birth through an injection that alters
human DNA. Germline Parahumans are what we are referring to
when we talk about Nephilim, demigods, and animal human
hybrids. It refers to a hybrid that is modified or created before
the birthing process.
Another key difference is that a germ-line parahuman would
have to be modified before birth, while a somatic parahuman
could be an adult human who chooses to be modified.3
The phrase somatic parahuman may become very familiar in

the near future. On the TV show Heroes, the government developed an injection that gave ordinary people super powers of
their choosing. The scientific study of somatic parahumans
would do the exact same thing, but it would alter human DNA
and combine it with animal traits. This idea is appealing to
many people because it eliminates the need to create hybrids
in a lab. Adult human beings could be turned into animal/human hybrids through an injection. Jesus made the following reference to what the end of the age would be like:
But as the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the son
of man be. Matthew 24:37
The ability to create somatic parahumans should be very disturbing to anyone that follows Bible prophecy. Many people

discount the End Time Hybrid Hypothesis because they do not

see how there would be enough time to contaminate animals
and humanity to the point that it was during the time of Noah.
This corruption of all flesh could easily be achieved very quickly through the distribution of vaccines or a simple visit to the
doctors office. Jesus gave us a strange warning during the
Olivet Discourse that many of the top researchers believe refers to nuclear weapons, but as we are starting to see, that
may not be the case:
And except those days should be shortened, there should no
flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be
shortened. Matthew 24:22
It is possible that we are once again looking at the coming corruption of all flesh, just as it was during the days of Noah. The
major difference between our time and the time of Noah is
that many believe the events during Noahs time were involuntary. In our age of media and pop culture, people will line up
to receive eagle like eye sight, bear like strength, or any other
potential enhancements that scientists can think up. This
time around, the corruption of all flesh may be voluntary, depending on how the marketing package is put together. All
flesh had become corrupted, and that reference does not just
apply to humans. It actually applies to humans, animals, and
the fallen angels that were responsible for the birth of the
Nephilim.
Somatic Parahumans and The Mark

It always seemed strange that simply accepting The Mark of
The Beast is an unforgivable sin. According to Revelation 14:910, whoever takes the mark will be cast alive into the Lake of
Fire. Why would there be such a harsh punishment for taking
the mark? This is speculation, but there may be something far
more sinister to the mark than previously assumed. Many of the
previous theories assert that the mark will be a tattoo, microchip, or barcode of some kind, and some people even believe
that it is an ideology. There is now an additional possibility,
and that is that the mark will alter human DNA. Christ came as
a man to redeem all mankind. This is the spiritual milk that we
all learn before coming to know Christ. The reason it is im10 | P a g e
portant is because Christ did not become an animal/human hybrid to save animal/human hybrids.
Theory: If the mark is combined with somatic parahumans injections,
and people may literally make themselves unredeemable by turning
themselves into animal/human hybrids. Receiving this injection would
make humans part beast, giving the phrase mark of the beast an
entirely literal meaning. This is all the more reason to take Matthew
24:22 very literally.
Battle of The God Men

There are at least two places in the Bible that speak of the
nackash (serpent) having offspring. Both Genesis 3:15 and Isaiah 14:29 refer to the birth of Satans son. We know that the
serpent is Satan because of Revelation 12:9. There is nothing in
either passage that indicates God was speaking in metaphors,
similes, or any other parts of speech except literally. God had a
Son so it is only logical that Satan would want to have his own
son as well, in order to be like the Most High. The rise of Satans son will lead to the ultimate battle, Christ vs. The Antichrist, the God-Man vs. The god-man.
If we look at the intention behind Satan having a son, we can
see that it is probably one of the most sinister plots he has ever
concocted since he rebelled against God. If there is any truth
at all to the idea that Satan would have a son, we should see
some clear similarities between his son and Christ. Lets compare Christ and the Antichrist and see just how intricate this
plan to deceive mankind is.

Hybrid Saviors: In Genesis 3:15, God refers to the seed

of the woman (Jesus) and the seed of the serpent (Antichrist). When Mary gave birth to Christ, He was part God
and part Man (God-Man). Paul refers to Satan as the
god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), which means the
Antichrist will be part god and part man (god-man).
While Jesus was the true savior, the Antichrist will deceitfully present himself as the true savior of all mankind.

Signs and Miracles: While Christ walked the earth He

healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, made the lame

walk, and raised the dead. The Bible does not give us the
details of everything the Antichrist will do, but according
to Matthew 24:24 the signs and wonders that would be
displayed by the false Christs would be so powerful that
it could potentially deceive the very elect.

The Resurrection: The resurrection of Christ is the foundation of Christianity. If He never got up there would be
no reason for us to follow Him as the Messiah. In Revelation 13 we find one of the heads of the beast has been
wounded to the point of death. Many people believe that
this head represents the Antichrist. If that is true, Revelation 13:3 is clear that there will somehow be a supernatural resurrection of this head.
As we can see from the three examples above, even something

simple as having a child becomes much more sinister and complex when in the hands of Satan. The arrival of the Antichrist is
just one part of a much larger delusion.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with
the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after
the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them
that perish; because they received not the love of the truth,
that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send
them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That
they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12
The Breakdown
The sudden scientific interest in and the creation of hybrids in
our time could potentially become one of the most dangerous
obsessions our world has ever known. Through this pursuit,
mankind is risking the purity of the human race and potentially
their eternal souls. We as Christians need to remain informed
as to what is going on in the world around us, and also educate
those we care about to this coming new reality. The Bible
makes clear points as to why this mixing was forbidden. In fact,
in Gods eyes, it was so deplorable that He wiped out the world
in Noahs time. For those that do not adhere to what the Bible
has to say, the pages of history are filled with thousands of sto12 | P a g e
ries about hybrids and in almost every case, they were creatures that were feared by mankind and destroyed when the
opportunity presented itself. Maybe its time for the church to
stop ignoring this reality, and start warning the flock.

In our day and age, the vast majority of people seem to think
that much of what we are pursuing through science is new.
When we start digging into our past, we find lots of very
strange stories, told by many cultures all over the world. The
pages of history contain endless references to hybrids, and yet
many people do not consider how they might tie into our modern time. Most of these references have come to be referred to
as mythology, but is there any truth to those myths? In this
chapter we are going to look at several different cultures in
which hybrids were believed to have existed and interacted
with mankind.
Babylonian Hybrids
The Babylonian culture is one of the oldest cultures on the
planet. Even though our modern society is separated from
theirs by thousands of years, they seemed to have a very advanced knowledge of hybrids and how they came to exist. Many
of the hybrids that appear in their culture had the body of a
human and the head of an animal or vice versa. These beings
were not abstract concepts to the Babylonians, but were said
to live among them and interacted with them. Lets take a look
at some of these hybrids.

In the above picture, we see a humanoid being with the head

and wings of a bird. These beings were worshipped as gods by
the Sumerians. The detail with which they were carved also
provides us with evidence that other cultures, besides the Hebrews, may have had contact with the Cherubim or a creature
created to resemble one of the cherubim mentioned in the Bible.
And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of
a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the
third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle
Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings;
and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their
wings. Ezekiel 10:14 & 21
While the Babylonian gods lacked

multiple faces on each body, the
rest of the description is almost exact, right down to the four wings
and human hands. In Isaiah 14:14,
we learn that Lucifer wants to be
exactly like the Most High. If this is
true, it makes perfect sense that he
would try to genetically alter certain life forms in order to create
something similar to the Cherubim under Gods command.
While this is just speculation, it does seem to fit Satans M.O.
Satan cannot create anything out of nothing like God can, but
he is a deceiver and a manipulator that can work with and possibly alter what already exists.
The Epic Of Gilgamesh

Some historians believe that the Gilgamesh story is based on an
actual king that lived around 2,700 B.C. If that is true, it would
place his life about 200 years after the flood of Noah, and 86
years before the birth of Abraham. If the above is true, it also
lends some credibility to the tale of his search for a flood survivor. According to the Bible, Noah lived for another 350 years
after the flood, and Shem lived for another 502 years after the
flood. Both Noah and Shem would have still been alive during

Gilgameshs supposed search. This is not proof that Gilgamesh

existed, but evidence that the story is placed in the correct
Biblical timeframe, but why exactly is Gilgamesh important to
our research?
Gilgamesh was considered to be 2/3 god and 1/3 human, or in
other words, he was a hybrid. Already we find that his origin is
very similar to that of the Nephilim in the Bible. Much of the
story revolves around his search for immortality after his best
friend Enkidu dies. Before Enkidu dies, he encourages Gilgamesh to set off on a journey to establish his own renown by
slaying Humbaba The Terrible, an evil giant. Again, the Bible
confirms that these hybrids were men of renown, and establishing a legendary name becomes Gilgameshs goal. Humbaba
was the guardian of the Cedar Forest, where the Sumerian gods
(Annunaki) lived. Enlil assigns the giant Humbaba to be a terror
to human beings, just as we observe in the Biblical story of the
giants in the Promised Land. These Babylonian gods seem to
be nothing more than fallen angels posing as gods. The important point here is the hybrid king Gilgamesh. If he really
existed, after being considered a myth for so long, what about
the rest of the story that mentions the gods living on earth
and creating hybrids?
Greek Hybrids
The Greeks hybrids are among the most famous hybrids in all of
history. Almost everyone on the planet is familiar with Hercules, Achilles, Perseus, and Theseus. Our modern culture has
turned these hybrids into heroes, even though they were feared
by many. Achilles was famous for killing massive amounts of
people, Perseus was famous for killing both men and monsters,
Theseus was famous for killing the hybrid minotaur, and Hercules only performed good deeds as a punishment for murdering
his wife and children. However, these were not the only hybrids found in Greek mythology. Lets take a look at a few lesser known hybrids.

Chimera
The Chimera was a strange, hybrid, creature that tormented
mankind. It was believed to be a female capable of breathing
fire. The origin of the chimera is interesting as well. It was believed to have been created by the gods, which were likely
fallen angels.
The Chimera was, according to Greek mythology, a
monstrous fire-breathing female creature of Lycia in
Asia Minor, composed of the parts of multiple animals:
upon the body of a lioness with a tail that ended in a
snake's head, the head of a goat arose on her back at
the center of her spine. The Chimera was one of the
offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such
monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra. The
term chimera has also come to describe any mythical
animal with parts taken from various animals and, more
generally, an impossible or foolish fantasy. 1
The story surrounding the chimera is interesting because it is
lumped in with other hybrid creatures, all believed to have
originated with the Greek gods.

According to the Greeks there was a hybrid creature known as
the Minotaur (Minos Bull), which was a bull/human hybrid that
had a taste for human flesh. In order to keep the creature appeased, they would sacrifice humans to it. The question we
have to ask is, is there any truth to this story? Many people
believe this story is just another myth among many, but it has
several things in common with scripture:
This creature came about as a result of the gods tampering/experimenting with humans and animals.
Human sacrifices were made to this creature.
This creature was being worshiped out of fear.
Although it is not well known among the general population,

the Minotaur actually had a name. The name given to the hybrid at birth was Asterion, which means ruler of the stars.
This was also the name of Minos father. The story of the Minotaur provides an interesting reference to the gods involvement
in the creation of animal human hybrids as well. My book, Beyond Flesh and Blood: The Ultimate Guide To Angels and Demons, goes into greater detail about the Minotaur and the Biblical equivalents, Molech and Chemosh.
The Legend of Heracles

Heracles, which means glory of Hera, is the Greek name for
the hero we know by the Roman name Hercules. According to
legend, he was the famous son of the god Zeus and Alcmene, a
mortal woman. He was also the half brother of Perseus, another legendary hybrid hero that was portrayed in Clash of The
Titans. Perseus was conceived when Zeus transformed himself
into golden rain to deceive Perseus mother into having sex
with him. Heracles was known for his strength, courage, ingenuity, and sexual prowess among both males and females. Another strange association we find among these hybrids is homosexuality. While homosexuality is not present in every story
about giants, it does surface on occasion.
Hercules was conceived after Zeus shapeshifted himself into
the husband of Alcmene and tricked her into having sex with

him. Although Heracles is viewed as a hero, he was very violent. One story from his youth has him killing his music teacher
Linus with a lyre. When he grew up, married, and had children,
he killed them and his wife in a fit of rage, which led to his
servitude to king Eurystheus. Heracles is most famous for completing twelve legendary tasks, each supernatural in nature.
One of these tasks involved Heracles killing the giant Antaeus
by picking him up off the ground in a bear hug. Heracles may
have been very huge himself if he was able to bear hug a giant
and pick him up off of the ground. Finally as Heracles is dying,
he throws the innocent Lichas into the sea, thinking him to be
responsible for poisoning him. Once again we find a very violent, legendary, hybrid that still lives on through stories.
The Invincible Achilles

Achilles is the central character in the blockbuster movie Troy.
He was also the central character and hero of Homers Iliad
from where the movie Troy adapted most of its script. Its not
emphasized in the movie, but Achilles is also what we call a
demigod (like Heracles), which is the Greek version of the Hebrew Nephilim. He is the result of a mortal man and a goddess
mixing. The supernatural power associated with him was being
invincible everywhere except the heel of his foot, which is
where we get the phrase Achilles heel.
Here we have another story that is usually passed on as mythology, but as technology progresses, our understanding of
mythology has changed. Starting in the late 1800s, explorers
began seriously searching for the city of Troy. Between 18921938 it was discovered that at least nine cities had been built
on the ancient site of Troy. There are four men credited with
moving the city of troy from mythology to reality:

If Troy was indeed a real city as Homer claimed, is it possible

that a hybrid named Achilles fought in the legendary battle? If
the cities of Uruk and Troy have been discovered, and a once

mythological king is now considered to be real, how many more

of these mythological cities and individuals may also be real?

We could probably go on and on listing all of the hybrids mentioned by the Greeks, but the main point is that the Greeks
seemed to be obsessed with the concept. Lets continue looking into some of the other cultures that had an obsession with
hybrids as well.
Asian Hybrids
Although not as well known as the Greeks, there are hybrids
that appear in Asian cultures as well. Here are a few that seem
to stand out from the crowd.
China - Penghou
In the time of the First Ruler of Wu, Lu Ching-shu was
Grand Protector of Chien-an Commandery. Once he
dispatched a man to cut down a great camphor tree.
Few strokes of the axe had fallen before blood suddenly flowed from the trunk. When it was finally felled, a
creature with the face of a man and the body of a dog
came forth. Ching-shu explained, "This is what is known
as the p'eng-hou." He had it steamed forthwith and ate
it. Its flavor was the same as dog-meat. The Pai-tse
T'u* says: "The spirit of trees is called p'eng-hou. It appears much like a black dog with no tail and can be
steamed and eaten. Soushenji
While this story probably has very little truth to it, if any, once
again we find a different culture, with different political and
religious beliefs, connecting a hybrid to the supernatural.

Japan Kutabe
The common Japanese image generally depicts the
hakutaku as a "bovine or monstrous felid creature with
nine eyes and six horns, arranged in sets of three and
two on both its flanks and its man-like face. It is also
commonly depicted as having the body of a lion and
eight eyes, known for having a horn or multiple horns
on their heads." However, the number of extra eyes actually varies depending on interpretation, and sometimes the creature is pictured with only one in the center of its head. It is considered to be "intelligent, and
well read with the ability to understand human
speech."2
While it is likely that many of these cultures influenced each
other with their stories, which explains why so many of the hybrids were similar, they each had their own unique stories as
well. There is one last culture that we will look at because the
hybrid found in that legend might sound familiar to those that
have read Revelation.
Persian Hybrids
One of the most interesting hybrids in all of mythology, comes
from Persia. It was a creature known as the man eater. What
makes it interesting is that it is very similar to a hybrid creature described in the book of Revelation.
Manticore
The manticore (Early Middle Persian Martyaxwar) is a
persian legendary creature similar to the Egyptian
sphinx. It has the body of a red lion, a human head
with three rows of sharp teeth (like a shark), and a
trumpet-like voice. Other aspects of the creature vary
from story to story. It may be horned, winged, or both.
The tail is that of either a dragon or a scorpion, and it
may shoot poisonous spines to either paralyze or kill its

victims. It devours its prey whole and leaves no

clothes, bones, or possessions of the prey behind.3

The concept of a lion-human hybrid appears in many cultures.

In my book, As The Days of Noah Were, there is a much deeper
study on the Lion Men of and other hybrid lion creatures, so in
this section we are going to focus on the locusts from the pit,
which seem to resemble the Manticore. According to Revelation, the locusts from the pit are described as follows:
And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared
unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like
gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had
hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth
of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of
iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like
unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their
power was to hurt men five months. Revelation 9:7-10
The picture of the Manticore is a very close match to the description in Revelation 9, with the exception of the missing
crown. It was called the Manticore (man eater) because it only
attacked humans, just like the locusts in Revelation 9. This

same creature also appears in the legends of India and Greece,

but why? Now that we have a brief understanding of the history
of hybrids, in the next chapter we will look at how they tie into
modern times.
The Breakdown
The inevitable question that we must all ask is, Were any of
these creatures real? If they were real, that means we need to
take a serious look at the past to find out what was going on. If
they were not real, why is modern science attempting to bring
them to life? If history really does repeat itself, and there is
nothing new under the sun, then why is it that so many Christians refuse to look at what is going on in the world today, and
how it compares with history? It is possible that we are about
to repeat many of the same mistakes that happened in the
past, concerning these hybrids. In almost every story we read,
there seems to be an urgent need to kill these creatures, in
order to stop them from terrorizing mankind.

It is hard for many people to wrap their brain around the idea
that the Bible actually has many things in common with pagan
mythology. The reason for this is failure to understand that God
is universal, and not local. The Hebrews were not the only people to have spiritual encounters with God, angels, and demons.
They were also not the only culture to encounter or profess a
belief in hybrid creatures. Many of the manuscripts found
throughout history, contain stories of supernatural beings interfering with genetics in order to create hybrids, and the Bible is
no exception.
Chemosh and Molech

The Ammonites and the Moabites both worshiped a creature
that many believe to be the same, but with two different
names. The Moabites referred to it as Chemosh and the Ammonites referred to it as Molech/Moloch. The Bible, however, refers to both Chemosh and Molech as abominations.
Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the
abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and
for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon. 1

Sunday School level Bible teaching usually conditions us to believe that these were just idols that were being worshiped, but
actual research and study reveals a completely different story.
The following is a description of how Molech/Chemosh was depicted:
Then further back, higher than the candelabrum, and much
higher than the altar, rose the Moloch, all of iron, and with
gaping apertures in his human breast. His outspread wings
were stretched upon the wall, his tapering hands reached
down to the ground; three black stones bordered by yellow
circles represented three eyeballs on his brow, and his bulls
head was raised with a terrible effort as if in order to

In the above description, Molech/Chemosh has the head of a

bull, arms like a man, and wings. It actually sounds very similar
to the Assyrian shedu. In order to really get a good idea of how

According to Jeremiah 32:35, the children of Israel began to

worship Molech by sacrificing their children to him. They would
build alters in his image, like in the picture above, light a fire,
and toss in their children. This tradition continued into New
Testament times, where they would sacrifice people inside of a
brass bull in honor of Zeus, who played a role in the creation of
the Minotaur, according to the Greeks. The connection between the Greek Minotaur and Molech might just be an interesting coincidence if it was not for several more occurrences of
this same creature in other cultures:
Apis Egypt
Sarangay Philippines
Ushi-oni Japan
It is entirely possible, but not likely that all of these cultures

made up the exact same creature and gave it the exact same
origin by coincidence, but it is highly unlikely since they all had
different religions, social, political, and economic situations.
As we continue this journey we are going to encounter several
stranger hybrid creatures mentioned in the Bible.

Cherubim and Seraphim

The most interesting hybrids presented in the Bible are the
cherubim. These creatures are first mentioned in Genesis 3:24,
when they are placed in the garden to guard the Tree of Life.
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the
garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned
every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. Genesis
3:24
As we read through the Old Testament, they are mentioned

over and over again, when in the description of The Ark of The
Covenant. What did they look like according to scripture?
And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of
a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the
third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
Ezekiel 10:14
While these creatures may not have been the result of genetic
tampering, it does show us that the concept of hybrids are present in the Bible, and these particular hybrids are always connected to the throne of God.
Cockatrice
The Bible does not give us a lot of information about the cockatrice, but is mentioned four times in scripture. What we do
know is that it was and is considered a mythological hybrid
creature with the body of a dragon and head of a rooster.
Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him
that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall
come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying
serpent. Isaiah 14:29
According to legend, a cockatrice could kill simply by looking at

someone, but that part of the story may originate with someone having a heart attack, if they did actually see one. Its

been said before, but if these creatures were not real, then
why were they included in scripture as if they were real?
Lion Men of Moab

These are another interesting group of hybrids that originate in
Moab. In the following verse, the lionlike men are referenced
separately from the lion.
And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man,
of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike
men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst
of a pit in time of snow: 2 Samuel 23:20
At the very minimum there were two. However, they may have
been more because they are referenced outside of the Bible as
well, in the following countries:
Egypt
Germany
India
Nubia
Television shows like Beauty and The Beast, Thundercats, and

others continue to dabble with the concept of lion-human hybrids. Is it possible that hybrids like these will become a reality
in the near future?
The Lylyth
The Succubus legend was very popular during medieval times,
and according to legend, the Succubus was a female demon
that would sexually seduce men while they were sleeping. Even
though this belief gained popularity during medieval times, the
legend of a sexual, female, supernatural entity goes back even
further.
The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild
beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the
screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place
of rest. Isaiah 34:14

In the King James Version of the Bible, the reference to a

screech owl seems like no big deal. However, there are many
people that have rightfully pointed out that something is
strange about translating it as such.
Liyliyth (Hebrew) translated as screech owl, but from the
root word layil which means, night specter.
Simply put, a specter is a ghost or apparition. Isaiah 34:14
clearly refers to liyliyth as a her, which means we are definitely dealing with a female entity of some kind, but what exactly is she? If we do some digging into the liyliyth, the verse in
Isaiah only becomes stranger.
Disclaimer: The following idea is not what I personally believe
to be true, but is one view regarding liyliyth that is very popular in certain groups. Biblical discretion is advised.
There are some students of the Bible that point to the verse in
Isaiah as proof of Lilith, whom they believe was Adams first
wife before Eve. There are several versions of the Lilith story,
but they all end with her having sex with an angel and giving
birth to demons (angel/human hybrids). According to the story,
she was banished to the furthest parts of the earth and does
nothing but bear demonic offspring every day.
While the above story does not reflect my personal belief on
the subject, the reference to sex between a human woman and
angels, which leads to demonic offspring, is interesting. This
belief is also just one of the two beliefs surrounding the liyliyth
and it is the second belief that is much more disturbing than
Adam having an unfaithful first wife that was sexually attracted
to angels. The Lilith legend is usually associated with the Babylonian lilitu, which were female spirits that were worshiped
through human sacrifice. The earliest known reference to the
lilitu was found in an incantation (spell) text dating back to
600 BC.
If we take a slight detour into Babylonian belief, we encounter
the father of Gilgamesh, known as Lilu. He was known to sexually seduce women in their sleep, which leads many to believe

that he may have been an incubus. An incubus was the male

counterpart to the female succubus. Both of these spirits were
believed to sexually seduce humans while they slept.
Still if some are occasionally begotten from demons, it is not
from the seed of such demons, nor from their assumed bodies, but from the seed of men taken for the purpose; as when
the demon assumes first the form of a woman, and afterwards of a man; just as they take the seed of other things for
other generating purposes. Thomas Aquinas
The above quote from Thomas Aquinas is important because he

was an avid believer that demons and fallen angels could not
reproduce with humans, but he also believed that it was happening somehow. The best explanation that he could deduce
was provided in the above given quote as to how it happened.
The Latin Vulgate also has an interesting translation of the
word liyliyth.
et occurrent daemonia onocentauris et pilosus clamabit alter ad alterum ibi cubavit lamia et invenit sibi requiem
Isaiah 34:14, Vulgate
There are two words that should draw our attention, and the
first is daemonia (demon). The second word is lamia, it is the
Latin equivalent to the Hebrew liyliyth. In Greek mythology,
Lamia was the queen of Libya, and was also a child eating demon. Later legends refer to multiple lamiae (plural) in which
they are depicted as entities similar to those found in the vampire legend. In fact, the Vulgate was not the only version of the
Bible to make a reference to Lamia. Before the King James
Version was published in 1611 and changed the translation to
screech owl, the word was included in several other English
Bibles.

The lylyth are not to be confused with Lilith (Adams alleged

first wife). This group of strange looking hybrids were believed
to be similar to vampires. They have also been compared to the
succubus (female demons). Unfortunately, in the KJV, the word

is translated as screech owl. However, in other versions it is

translated as follows:

The general consensus among Bible translators, historians, mythology, legends, and the meaning of the Hebrew word, is that
the liyliyth is not an owl as presented in the King James Version. However, as we see in the picture above, the owl was
associated with lilitu. Keep in mind that we are not talking
about modern day, Westernized, movie monsters. Isaiah 34
came from the mouth of God, and it is He that references an
entity that was believed by several ancient cultures to be very
real and was worshiped through human sacrifice. This may also
ultimately explain the origin of pagan goddesses and provide a
much needed Biblical explanation to the issue.
It is important that we make an attempt to understand what
Isaiah 34:14 is really referring to because the entire chapter is
an end time prophecy. In verse 14 alone God makes a reference
to wild beasts of the island, satyrs, and a evil female being inhabiting places on earth. If the liyliyth or lamia will be present on earth in during the last days, it may add one more disturbing aspect to Jesus statement concerning the end of the
age:
Mens hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of
heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:26
While the above verse does not specifically refer to the

liyliyth, it may include more than we can imagine at the moment. Verses like Isaiah 34:14 are just one more reason we
need to seriously consider what spiritual warfare is and how we
engage in it. This brings us to other non-angelic spirits mentioned in the Bible.

Nephilim
In my book, As The Days of Noah Were, there is a very in depth
chapter on the Nephilim, so this section will very briefly cover
the subject. Much of what we know about the Nephilim comes
from Genesis 6:1-4. Nephilim is translated in the KJV as giants, and they appear all over the Bible.
Some people believe that the Nephilim were simply normal
human beings suffering from gigantism and others believe that
they were the fallen angels themselves. Those that believe
they were fallen angels simply fall into a game of semantics.
Patrick Heron and myself both agree that the fallen angels did
produce offspring with human women, but we do not agree on
the terminology used to refer to the fallen angels. However,
this does not diminish the theory one bit. The foundational
truth is still the same. The best source for defining the Biblical
meaning of the word Nephilim is the Bible.
The word Nephilim is a Hebrew word, which means fallen
ones. When the Greek Septuagint was written, it was translated as gigantes, meaning earth born. The Latin translation
uses the same word as the Greek. Ultimately, this is where we
derive the English word giants. The root word for Nephilim in
Hebrew is nephal (to fall), leading some people to conclude
that these might merely be angels. According to the text, the
Nephilim were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters
of men, and not the sons of God themselves. We run into some
pretty strange problems if we examine the Lines of Seth view.
How did the mixing of Cain and Seths lines result in the
birth of angels if the Nephilim were simply angels?
If the Nephilim were not angels, how did the mixing of
Cains line and Seths line produce giants?
If Cains line was wiped out in the flood, how did the
Nephilim pop back up in the Promised Land without the
genetic material from Cains line needed to produce giants?
We could assume rather safely that the phrase fallen ones

refers to their spiritual state, but there seems to be more to it

than that. Here are a few outside sources and their take on
what the Nephilim were.
Abraham ibn Ezra proposes that they were called this because
men's hearts would fail at the sight of them (make a mental
note of this).
The Targum Jonathan states that the Nephilim were given
this name because they were descended from fallen angels.
The New American Bible commentary draws a parallel to the
Epistle of Jude and the statements set forth in Genesis, suggesting that the Epistle refers implicitly to the paternity of
Nephilim as heavenly beings that came to earth and had sexual intercourse with women.
In Aramaic culture, the term Nephila specifically referred to
the constellation of Orion, and thus Nephilim to Orion's semidivine descendants; the implication being that this also is the
origin of the Biblical Nephilim.1
When trying to gain clarity on the meaning of specific cultural

traditions, it is sometimes necessary to find out how the original writers viewed the subject in question. Lets examine the
early Jewish belief in the Nephilim. Besides being extremely
tall and powerful, the Nephilim had three other physical features that made them stand out from normal humans:
Double rows of teeth.

Six fingers on each hand.
Six toes on each foot.
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of

great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was
born to the giant. 2 Samuel 21:20
Carvings, statues, and legends of the six fingered ones are

present all throughout history. Many cultures believe different
things about the six-fingered ones, but all of them believe that
the origin of the extra four digits is supernatural. This picture

Sumer occupied the area we now call Iraq, which lies in the
Cradle of Civilization. It is the earliest known culture after the
flood. Sumer is also the same civilization that the Epic of Gilgamesh comes from. Not only did they believe in giants, but
they believed that celestial beings could indeed reproduce with
mankind. Sometimes these celestial beings and their offspring
are pictured as having six fingers. Genetic defects in the
Nephilim are not exclusive to the Bible, but seem to occur in
tales of hybrids from all over the world:
Hebrews: Extra fingers and toes

Greeks: One eye (Cyclops)
Lakota Indians: Look like oxen
Seminole: Horrible smell
Now we have an idea of exactly what the Israelites may have

been facing in the Promised Land. These giants had too many
fingers and toes, they were extremely tall, had supernatural
strength, and ate humans. This seemed like Satans perfect
deterrent for keeping the Israelites out of the Promised Land,

and it worked for forty years while the wandered the wilderness because of their disobedience.

It was the presence of these hybrids that caused Moses to hesitate entering the Promised Land after hearing the account of
the spies in Numbers 13:33. Saul allowed the nephilim king
Agag to live instead of killing him as God commanded; this led
to Saul losing the throne in 1 Samuel 15, and according to the
book of Enoch, these hybrids also turned into demons upon
death.
And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits
and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on
the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded
from their bodies; because they are born from men and
from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin;
they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they
be called. [As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be
their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were

born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.]
And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack,
do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause
trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and
thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up
against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them. Enoch 15:8-12
Again, Enoch is not scripture but it does give us one more historical reference to hybrids being associated with the origin of
demons, and demonstrates that the Bible is not the only book
to mention these types of hybrids. They are also found in Greek
mythology as well, and are referred to as demigods. The creation of a demigod happens when a god (fallen angel) descends
from the sky, has sex with a human woman, and produces a
hybrid offspring. These offspring later become famous, and
legendary stories are written about them. Here are a few familiar demigods from mythology:
Hercules
Perseus
Achilles
Gilgamesh
This belief in hybrid god-men was partly responsible for Hitlers

actions during WWII. It was not the belief by itself that was
bad, but Hitlers belief that he could get the god-men to return
through means of human sacrifice. As we learned previously,
the worship of these hybrids included human sacrifices. Quite a
few cultures also participated in human sacrifice as part of
their worship of the god-men:

"The wicked emperor Hadrian, who conquered Jerusalem,

boasted, 'I have conquered Jerusalem with great power.' Rabbi Johanan ben Zakkai said to him, 'Do not boast. Had it not
been the will of Heaven, you would not have conquered it.'
Rabbi Johanan then took Hadrian into a cave and showed him

the bodies of Amorites who were buried there. One of them
measured eighteen cubits [approximately 30 feet] in height.
He said, 'When we were deserving, such men were defeated
by us, but now, because of our sins, you have defeated us"
(quoted in Judaism, edited by Arthur Hertzberg, p.155-156,
George Braziller, New York: 1962)
Interestingly enough, we are just getting started with what

both the Bible and history have to say about the hybrids that
were once part of every culture on earth. We are now going to
look at a few very interesting references to other hybrids in the
Bible.
Shed
The shed were well known throughout the Middle East as powerful spirits. The first place in the Bible that we encounter the
shed is in reference to Israel worshiping them.
They sacrificed unto devils (Shed), not to God; to gods
whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom
your fathers feared not. Deuteronomy 32:17
The deeper we look into the words of Moses, the stranger the
entire verse becomes. The first thing that we notice is that sacrifices are being made to these shed by the Israelites. The second aspect to this strange scenario is that Moses points out
that these were new gods that their fathers did not fear. In
order to keep this in perspective, we have to remember that
the Israelites had just been freed from Egypt, where they worshipped many different gods. The shed were completely different than the gods that were worshiped in Egypt. Moses also
tells us that they were new gods that came newly up.
Chadash (Hebrew) New thing, something new.
Not only were the Hebrews sacrificing to these shed, Moses

points out that their fathers did not fear them. This seems to
imply that the Israelites may have had a genuine fear of the
shed that did not exist in previous generations. Lets take a
look at the word used for fear in Hebrew.

Saar (Hebrew) to shiver, to be horribly afraid.
The Israelites were much more than scared; the English equivalent to the word saar would be terrified. Not only were they
terrified, but it is in the book of Psalms that we find out just
how terrified they were and what kind of sacrifices they were
making to the Shed.
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, Psalm 106:37
The Israelites were so scared that they began to sacrifice their

own sons and daughters. What kind of entity would make a person so fearful that they would kill their own flesh and blood in
a sacrifice? Unfortunately, the Bible does not give us a description of these beings, but there was another culture in the area,
that worshiped the shed and kept very detailed records of
them, including carvings and depictions.
The Assyrians and Babylonians worshiped creatures known as
the shedu. Both cultures were closely connected and spoke the
Semitic language Akkadian, which was very similar to ancient
Hebrew. According to the beliefs at the time, the lamassu (female) and the shedu (male) were the same creature. These
beings were depicted in the following manner:

According to the Assyrian and Babylonian cultures, the shedu

were hybrids with the body of a bull, wings of an eagle, and
the head of a man. Stories of hybrid creatures generally appear
in two time periods: very ancient history and modern times. As
we continue digging into the origin of demons, we will see that
there is a very strong connection between demons and hybrid
creatures.
Saiyr
The saiyr are an interesting group of spiritual beings because,
like the shed, they too were considered to be hybrids. Here is
how the Strongs Concordance defines the word saiyr:
saiyr (Hebrew) Satyr, Faun, He-Goat, Shaggy
The origin of the word saiyr is saar (to shiver, be horribly

afraid). Stories of fauns and satyrs are most prominent in the
myths and legends of other cultures, but here we find a refer-

ence to the same creatures in the Old Testament. So what exactly are Fauns and Satyrs?
The faun is a half human - half goat (from the head to the
waist being the human half, but with the addition of goat's
horns) manifestation of forest and animal spirits which would
help or hinder humans at whim. Romans believed fauns inspired fear in men traveling in lonely, remote or wild places.2
As we have seen, the origins of the satyr belief has its root in
the Hebrew word for fear. Over a thousand years later, the
Romans held the same belief that these hybrid creatures struck
fear in the hearts of men that traveled alone. The Hebrews
feared these creatures and as a result, also worshiped and
made sacrifices to them.
And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute
for ever unto them throughout their generations. Leviticus
17:7
The words God uses, while speaking to Moses, in the above

verse are interesting because it provides a link between the

saiyr and another legend surrounding these creatures. God

refers to the people whoring after the saiyr. The Hebrew
word used is zanah, which is translated as prostitute, whore,
whoring, and fornication in the Old Testament. Much of the
Church teaching on fornication has been diluted down to only
mean sex. However, throughout the Bible, there is a strong
connection between fornication and pagan worship. In every
legend of Fauns and Satyrs, they are well known for their sexual escapades with human women and sometimes men.
Satyrs are described as roguish but faint-hearted folk, subversive and dangerous, yet shy and cowardly. As Dionysiac
creatures they are lovers of wine and women, and they are
ready for every physical pleasure.3
Among the list of activities in satyr mythology, is their associating with music, dancing, playfulness, and orgies. The Old Testament actually contains a reference that associates the satyr
with dancing.
But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell
there, and satyrs shall dance there. Isaiah 13:21
The word translated as satyrs in the above verse is the same

word translated as devils in Leviticus 17:7. This leads us back
to the question, were stories of these creatures more than
just myth and legend? As we continue digging into the saiyr,
we encounter one in particular that is said to be the origin of
the word pandemonium.
Pan aided his foster-brother in the battle with the Titans by
letting out a horrible screech and scattering them in terror.4
According to legend, it was this scream of Pan that led to pandemonium among his rivals. The Greek word daimonium refers
to being under the influence of a demon. Pandemonium literally translates as under the demonic control of Pan. The story
of Pan is linked to a great battle for the heavens in the Greek

culture, but when we look deeper into the Hebrew culture, we

find a similar story of a fallen angel by the name of Azazel. The
name Azazel was used in the movie, Fallen, starring Denzel
Washington. In the movie, Azazel was presented as woodland
demon that had the power to possess humans and animals. Surprisingly, we find mention of Azazel in the Bible in association
with sin and goats.
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the
LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. Leviticus 16:8
It is important to point out that this particular goat was not the
fallen angel in question. The Hebrew word translated as scapegoat is Azazel, which means, the goat that has gone astray.
The story of Azazel is actually a very old Hebrew belief that
does not come from the Bible, but from events that they believe happened prior to Noahs flood.
Azazel is represented in the Book of Enoch as one of the
leaders of the rebellious Watchers in the time preceding the
flood; he taught men the art of warfare, of making swords,
knives, shields, and coats of mail, and women the art of deception by ornamenting the body, dying the hair, and painting the face and the eyebrows, and also revealed to the people the secrets of witchcraft and corrupted their manners,
leading them into wickedness and impurity; until at last he
was, at the Lord's command, bound hand and foot by the
archangel Raphael and chained to the rough and jagged rocks
of [Ha] Duduael (= Beth adudo), where he is to abide in utter darkness until the great Day of Judgment, when he will be
cast into the fire to be consumed forever.5
This particular belief comes from 1 Enoch, which was hidden in

Qumran, along with other books of the Bible. 1 Enoch also appears in the Ethiopian Bible and many other early translations.
It was also a very popular book during the 2nd Temple period,
and is referenced by Peter, Jude, and John in Revelation.
While it is not considered scripture, both Jews and early Christians considered this book to be a very important book that
reflected early beliefs about Noahs flood. Did the creation of
Enoch viii. 1, ix. 6, x. 4-6, liv. 5, lxxxviii. 1; see Geiger, "Jd. Zeit." 1864,

Satyrs begin with a fallen angel that rebelled against God?

While we cannot say for sure, it seems to fit the motive of fallen angels that want to corrupt all of Gods creation.
Goliath of Gath
When we speak of giants in the Bible, the first name that usually comes to mind is Goliath. The story of David and Goliath is
widely known by both Christians and non-Christians alike, but
who exactly was Goliath? According to 1 Samuel 17, Goliath
was a champion for the Philistine army. What prompted this
famous battle is Goliaths defiance of Israel and God, and this
did not sit well with David. According to 1 Samuel 17:4, Goliath
was six cubits and span. A cubit is roughly 18 inches and a span
is equal to half a cubit or 9 inches.
6 cubits x 18 inches / 12 inches in a foot = 9ft. + 9inches = 99
According to the measurements given in the Bible, Goliath was

99 tall. Because of the detailed description, any attempt to
make the claim that David was just a small guy going up against
a big guy, is refuted by exact measurements. Even if David was
3 tall, it does not change how tall Goliath was.
The weight of Goliaths armor is another testimony to his size.
His chain mail armor weighed 5,000 shekels, the staff of his
spear was like a weavers beam, and his spearhead weighed
600 shekels. Also note that the weight of his helmet, the
greaves of brass on his legs, his sword, and the target of brass
between his shoulders are not given. A shekel weighs about
14.1 grams. Goliaths upper body armor would have weighed
70,500 grams, which converts to 155.425 pounds. Keep in mind
that his helmet, sword, and leg greaves were not measured.
Next we need to figure out how much his spear weighed.
We are told that the staff was like a weavers beam. The diameter of a weavers beam ranges from 2 to 2.5 inches and they
are about 2 meters in length. Converted to English measurements, it is equal to 6.56ft. So far we have a 99 giant armed
with at least 155 pounds of body armor and a 6.5ft. spear ready
to fight the army of Israel. Goliath was like a walking tank and

we still have not calculated the weight of his spearhead. Goliaths spearhead would have weighed 8,460 grams, which converts to 18.65 pounds. The total weight of his known armor is
173 pounds not counting the weight of the spear itself, his
helmet, sword, or leg greaves. However, these measurements
do not mean much without putting them into perspective.
According to several sources, medieval knights fighting armor
weighed 40-65 pounds. According to the Washington Post, the
current U.S. combat ready soldier carries 35-150 pounds of gear
depending on their military position and mission at hand. 6 What
makes Goliaths situation different is that he did not need to
carry ammunition or communication gear. He also could not
shoot at his enemy from hundreds of yards away. He needed to
get close enough to do damage with a sword or spear. That
means he needed to be agile and fast enough to block or dodge
a blow from an opponent. Goliaths armor, when we add in his
sword, leg greaves, and spear weight was more than triple that
of a medieval knight, yet he was still capable of defeating his
enemies. Even when David wanted to fight him, Saul points out
the following:
And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this
Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a
man of war from his youth. - 1 Samuel 17:33
This verse shows us a couple of things about what was going on.
The first observation is that Goliath was well known among the
Israelites as a warrior. The second is that he had been fighting
wars from the time he was a child. The Israelites seemed to
have a very legitimate reason to fear Goliath. One question
that comes to mind from a skeptical analysis is, how were they
able to measure Goliath? If we read the story, we find out that
David kills Goliath, and as a result would have been able to
take his armor and weapons as prizes. Because the Israelites
now had access to the body, they were able to measure Goliath
and weigh his armor. The precise measurements given in the
story adds a lot of credibility to the claim that Goliath was indeed a giant.

The Breakdown
No matter what you believe, the fact is that the Bible contains
quite a few references to hybrid creatures. Once we admit this
simple truth, we are left with believing it or attempting to explain it away, in order to fit our own preconceived notions. If
you are in the business of trying to reinterpret the Bible, in
order to fit your preconceived notions, then you are not allowing the text speak the truth. The truth is that hybrids did and
do exist, and there is nothing new under the sun.

Chapter 4: Modern Science & Hybrids

Modern science seems to have taken a sudden interest in creating hybrids of all kinds for various stated reasons, but is there
something more to this new obsession? A brief look at history
would tell us that humans have always had a fascination with
the creation of hybrids. What we use to call mythology is
slowly becoming a modern reality. However, many people still
do not believe that it is possible to mix species. In this chapter,
we will look at the scientific evidence that demonstrates that
hybrids are indeed possible.
Are Human-Animal Hybrids Possible?

In school, most of us were taught that in order for a hybrid to
be created, the two beings involved needed to be similar or it
would not work. One example would be breeding a dog with a
wolf. As our technology grows, so does our knowledge of what
is possible. Lets take a brief look at the modern history of creating human-animal hybrids, also known as chimeras:
2003 - The Chinese successfully fuse human genes with

rabbit eggs.
2005 - Panel convened at John Hopkins to discuss the
humanizing of chimpanzees.
2007 - UK gives the OK to create and research chimeras.
2009 - Louisiana passes a law that makes it illegal to create a human animal hybrid (Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act)
2010 - Arizona adopts the Human Animal Prohibition Act
and makes it a felony to knowingly create human/animal
hybrid.1
If the creation of human-animal hybrids were not possible,

there would be no need for the Human Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act. The purpose of HAHPA is to keep science from blurring the lines of what it means to be truly human. Is it possible
that we may one day see a minotaur, centaur, or satyr revealed to the world? We are just now getting to the point that
we need laws like this, but such laws have been in the Bible for
the last 3,500 years.

flood if it prompted God to create a law that forbid the mixing

How Are Modern Hybrids Created?
Animal Hybrids In Society
The Problem of Hybrid Reproduction

There are plenty of good scholars that recognize a problem
with the ability of hybrids to reproduce. Based on our current
knowledge of genetics, hybrids are usually sterile. However,
there are exceptions such as the wholphin, which is part dolphin and part false killer whale. Currently there are only two
wholphins in captivity, and both are in Sea Life Park in Hawaii.
Kekaimalu, a female wholphin, has given birth to three calves
(two died), proving that not all hybrids are sterile. Our current
scientific knowledge may simply be lacking in this area.
If these angels are highly advanced and if they have been continuing these genetic experiments for thousands of years, it is
indeed possible that they have figured out how to solve the
problem of sterility in hybrids. Our knowledge of genetics in
recent years now allows us to recognize potential disabilities of
unborn babies. There is even talk about the ability to custom
create our children by choosing their hair color, eye color, etc.
When we approach the concept of sterility in hybrids, the Bible

has a different opinion about the ability of the Nephilim to reproduce.

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come
of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers,
and so we were in their sight. - Numbers 13:33
And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the
weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of
brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to
have slain David. - 2 Samuel 21:16
These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the
hand of David, and by the hand of his servants. 2 Samuel
21:22
In no less than three places, the Bible references the ability of

these hybrids to produce offspring. Our current knowledge of
genetics does not give us insight into how the problem of sterility was overcome or simply done away with. With that said,
there is another alternative to overcoming the problem of sterility. Again, we have no knowledge of angel DNA or whatever
it is that they are made of. It is entirely possible that sterility
may not even be an issue in these types of unions. The Greek
legends of the demigods certainly suggest that there was no
problem with hybrid reproduction. Perseus, Heracles, and
Achilles were all products of a natural/supernatural union, and
all three are recorded as producing offspring.

interfacing with technology, in order to transcend their human

How many times have you wanted to talk to someone using only
your mind? Well, that may be a real possibility in the near future. Scientists have successfully sent the worlds first scientifically verified telepathic message, thousands of miles from India to France.

Research experts (sounds credible to me) at Harvard thought it
might be a good idea to test the possibility of telepathy, and so
they did. The idea was that two volunteers, thousands of miles
apart would be hooked up to computers, and one person would
send the other a message mentally. Long story short, it
worked. Now well likely see this technology developed for all
sorts of craziness in the future. Here is a video of a technology
that already exists, uses only thoughts to operate, and is already being perfected.
What Is Telepathy?
Lets start out by defining what telepathy is. Here is my definition: mental communication between two or more people. Now
that youve read my definition, here is the official definition:
Telepathy: communication between minds by some means

Telepathy: the supposed communication of thoughts or ideas
by means other than the known senses. Google.com
For many, the subject of telepathic communication has always
been considered to be mythology or science fiction, but science
is slowly changing the landscape in many of these areas.
Until we went to the moon, space travel was considered

science fiction.
Until the 90s, Star Trek communication technology was
considered to be science fiction.
Until the early 2000s, tablet PCs were considered to be
science fiction.
Until the invention of smart phones, handheld personal
PCs were considered to be science fiction.
Until recently, creating hybrid creatures was considered
to be science fiction.
What modern technology is proving is that science fiction and

science fact are only separated by a matter of time. What
many people dont know is that telepathy has been a concept
that has existed for thousands of years. Even the Bible contains
verses and ideas that seem to involve the use of telepathy.

the language center in the brain, as you can see in the pic

While there seems to be evidence of language activity when we
pray, is it possible for people to communicate with each other
mentally?
Telepathy In Eden?
While the Bible does not say it, many people believe that Adam
and Eve may have used telepathy as a means of communication, because it is more efficient than speaking. Those that
believe this, also tend to believe that we lost this ability after
the fall of man. Others believe that we gradually lost it over
time, but some people still retain traces of this ability.
While there is no evidence of this, many people believe that
telepathy would more realistically explain how Eve communicated with the serpent. Some of those same people also believe the serpent was a literal snake. However, that does not
change the possibility that the communication going on in the
garden may have been telepathic because it is more efficient
than speech.
The Breakdown
Hybridization has gone from mixing humans with animals, and
animals with animals, to mixing humans and animals with machines. Whether we like it or not, the day is coming when cyborgs will walk the earth. They probably will not be anything
like the cyborgs in the movies, but they will be real human beings fitted with robotic limbs, organs, and maybe even interfaced with a computer.

There are many historical references to what led to the creation of hybrids and why people took an interest in it to begin
with. For some, these explanations are nothing more than fantasy, but for others, like myself, these explanations shed light
into many of the dark areas of our reality.
Whos Idea Was It?

There have been many stories written about the origin of hybrids, but most of them land in the category of mythology. Unfortunately, many people do not understand that the term
mythology is used to classify almost all ancient stories that
refer to anything supernatural, and as a result, there are many
people that classify the Bible as mythology as well.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they
shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they
shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed
with clay. Daniel 2:43
Who are they that will mingle with the seed of men? If this subject is new to you, you need to really consider that question.
This prophecy is in reference to end time activity. Many people
believe it is a direct reference back to the issue that occurred
during the days of Noah, involving the fallen angels. This reference in Daniel is covered in depth in my book, As The Days of
Noah Were.
Hybridization and Demons

In other non-Biblical texts that are important to Jewish history, we find a strange reference to the creation of different
types of hybrids and their possible connection to the demons of
the Bible. The following quote is taken from the book of Jubilees.
The Sons of God were sent down to teach mankind truth and
justice; and for three hundred years did indeed teach Cains
son Enoch all the secrets of Heaven and Earth. Later, however, they lusted after mortal women and defiled themselves by

sexual intercourse. Enoch has recorded not only their divine
instructions, but also their subsequent fall from grace; before
the end they were indiscriminately enjoying virgins, matrons,
men, and beasts. Jubilees 4:15, 22, 5:1
As Christians we have to ask, Is there any Biblical basis for

believing these stories? If we take a closer look at the Bible,
we will soon see that not all of these stories are made up and
there may be more truth to them than we ever realized.
The Testimony of Scripture

Scripture is always the best interpreter of scripture, so it is
important to see what the scripture says about demons. It may
surprise you to find out that there is a very widely read verse
that may actually point to the very origin and nature of demons.
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he
gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out,
and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
- Matthew 10:1
The Greek word translated as unclean actually has a very

strange meaning, which seems to confirm the theory of the hybrid origin of demons. The word used is akathartos, which
means:
not pure (because mixed), i.e. adulterated with "a wrong
mix" and hence "unclean" (because tainted by sin). Strongs
#169.
The antonym of this word is kathairo, which means free from

wrong mixture. This choice of word usage seems to indicate
that demons are indeed some kind of wrong mixture, just as
the hybrid origin theory suggests.
A Pattern of Intervention
In my book, As The Days of Noah Were, there is a section which
explores the various patterns in scripture by which we can pre-

dict future spiritual actions. In this section we are going to look

at the pattern of Gods direct intervention in the form of complete and utter destruction.
Example 1: Noahs flood. The sons of God corrupt the human
race and hybrids are introduced into the world. The result is
God wiping everything out with a flood and only sparing a select few.
Example 2: Sodom and Gomorrah side with the Rephaim,
Emimim, and other well known hybrid tribes. When the angels enter the city, the men attempt to rape them and God
wipes out the cities, only sparing a select few.
Example 3: God commands the Hebrews to take the Promised
Land, but ten of the spies give a report of Nephilim in the
land. As a result that generation dies off. Joshua and Caleb
later take the Valley of the Giants wiping out every single
hybrid in the area.
Example 4: The Nephilim reemerge in the days of David. God
commands Saul to wipe out Agag and his entire tribe, which
Saul fails to do and as a result loses the throne. David kills
Goliath and later Davids men kill Goliaths four brothers.
As we can see, there are at least four examples in the Bible of

Gods direct intervention or command to wipe out these celestial/terrestrial hybrids. The next question is, is there any indication that this will happen again? Many people, including
myself believe there is plenty of indication in the Bible that
this will occur again.
No Holds Barred Warfare

In the beginning chapters of Genesis we see that spiritual warfare manifests itself as attacks on the flesh. In Genesis 3, the
Serpent convinces Eve to destroy her flesh by disobeying God
and eating the fruit. She then gave it to Adam, who was not
deceived (1 Timothy 2:14), and he intentionally destroys his
own flesh by eating the fruit. We then see the events that happen during the days of Noah, which led to the corruption of
human, animal, and angelic flesh. There are also the subsequent issues in the Sodom, Gomorrah, The Promised Land, Hebron, Gath, and several other places. Then there are the sacri-

fices of human flesh to the gods in many cultures, but why do

we have all of these attacks on the flesh?
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy
Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not
your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19
Satans issue with God has existed long before the creation of
mankind. Many people believe that the first rebellion happened
during a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, which
caused the earth to become without form and void. The Gap
Theory is briefly covered in my book, As The days of Noah
Were. It is after this supposed gap that we find the Spirit of
God (Holy Spirit) hovering over the face of the deep in a protective fashion. This was very real spiritual warfare.
Many people believe that Ezekiel 28 is a reference to the fall of
Satan. In Ezekiel 28:18 we find that Satan defiled the heavenly
sanctuary. If the things on earth are merely a foreshadow or a
reflection of what is in heaven, then we know that the Spirit of
God dwells in the sanctuary. In Exodus He dwelled in the Tabernacle and when the Temple was built, He dwelled there,
which may be why Satan has a history of attacking and defiling
the Temple. It is my opinion that most of (not all) Satans attacks are specifically focused at the Holy Spirit while the other
fallen angels and demons focus their attacks on everything
else, but how was that conclusion reached?
In addition to the attacks on the Temple, we also see that Satan does not attempt to tempt Jesus until after the Holy Spirit
descends on Him and leads Him into the wilderness (Matthew
4:1). During the temptation of Christ, Satan quotes from Psalm
91, which is a prophecy concerning the Messiah. According to
the Bible, who is responsible for Biblical prophecy?
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy
Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21
Satan chose to use the words written by people that were inspired by the Holy Spirit. This attack was well thought out and
intentional, otherwise, it would not have been referred to as a
temptation. Keep in mind that Jesus was not tempted with the

same things that us normal humans are tempted with. He was

tempted to use His God power in some cases and even offered leadership of the entire world in exchange for worshiping
Satan. These attacks seem to be directly focused on offending
and disrespecting the Holy Spirit. It was also this specific disrespect of the Holy Spirit that will lead to Satans ultimate punishment in the Lake of Fire.
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath
never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
Mark 3:29
In the Genesis 3, Satan has already turned against God and according to scripture, even his previous rebellion did not result
in damnation. He was not sentenced to be destroyed until after
he convinced Adam and Eve to commit suicide by eating the
fruit. In essence, he was responsible for defiling the temple.
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy;
for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:17
Everything we are looking at today in terms of hybridization

and transhumanism, in my opinion, is linked to Satans ongoing
pattern of disrespecting the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells
with humans, not animal/human hybrids or angel/human hybrids. In my opinion, animal/human hybrids and angel/human
hybrids cannot be saved, and there is no evidence in scripture
that they can be. There are people that believe different, but
to date there is not a single example in history, mythology, or
the Bible of a hybrid wanting to come to salvation through
Christ.
We as Christians need to be aware of what is really going on
when we hear stories of alien/human hybrids or animal/human
hybrids coming across our TV sets. In my opinion, what people
believe to be aliens are really fallen angels up to their old tactics as they have always been all throughout the Bible. Hybridization and Transhumanism will likely lead to the creation of
demonic spirits as it is believed to have happen during the days
of Noah and if we are not careful, we could fall for the lie that
all of this is just for the good of mankind.

hybrids, such as the cherubim that surround the throne of God.

Of all the chapters in this book, this one takes the world as we
know it and throws it out the window. There were many aspects to Noahs flood that are simply skimmed over, sometimes
on purpose, and sometimes not. In this chapter we will attempt
to figure out what Genesis 6:12 really meant when it sates that
all flesh had corrupted his way on the earth. To those that
hold the angel view of Genesis Chapter 6, we need to ask, was
the human race the extent of this corruption or did it extend
into the animal kingdom? Why did Paul feel it was necessary to
point out that all flesh is not the same flesh? As we get into the
subject of DNA, there are things that people claim are not possible, such as mixing human and animal DNA to create strange
creatures. Unfortunately, the study of DNA is fairly new and we
are just beginning to crack the human genome to see what is
possible.
What Were The Nephilim?

Some people believe that the Nephilim were simply normal
human beings suffering from gigantism and others believe that
they were the fallen angels themselves. Those that believe
they were fallen angels simply fall into a game of semantics.
Patrick Heron and myself both agree that the fallen angels did
produce offspring with human women, but we do not agree on
the terminology used to refer to the fallen angels. However,
this does not diminish the theory one bit. The foundational
truth is still the same. The best source for defining the Biblical
meaning of the word Nephilim is the Bible.
The word Nephilim is a Hebrew word, which means fallen
ones. When the Greek Septuagint was written, it was translated as gigantes, meaning earth born. The Latin translation
uses the same word as the Greek. Ultimately, this is where we
derive the English word giants. The root word for Nephilim in
Hebrew is nephal (to fall), leading some people to conclude
that these might merely be angels. According to the text, the
Nephilim were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters
of men, and not the sons of God themselves. We run into some
pretty strange problems if we examine the Lines of Seth view.

How did the mixing of Cain and Seths lines result in the birth
of angels if the Nephilim were simply angels?
If the Nephilim were not angels, how did the mixing of Cains
line and Seths line produce giants?
If Cains line was wiped out in the flood, how did the
Nephilim pop back up in the Promised Land without the genetic material from Cains line needed to produce giants?
We could assume rather safely that the phrase fallen ones

refers to their spiritual state, but there seems to be more to it
than that. Here are a few outside sources and their take on
what the Nephilim were.
Abraham ibn Ezra proposes that they were called this because
men's hearts would fail at the sight of them (make a mental
note of this).
The Targum Jonathan states that the Nephilim were given
this name because they were descended from fallen angels.
The New American Bible commentary draws a parallel to the
Epistle of Jude and the statements set forth in Genesis, suggesting that the Epistle refers implicitly to the paternity of
Nephilim as heavenly beings that came to earth and had sexual intercourse with women.
In Aramaic culture, the term Nephila specifically referred to
the constellation of Orion, and thus Nephilim to Orion's semidivine descendants; the implication being that this also is the
origin of the Biblical Nephilim.1
When trying to gain clarity on the meaning of specific cultural

traditions and meanings, it is sometimes necessary to find out
how the original writers viewed the subject in question. Lets
examine the early Jewish belief in the Nephilim.
Early Jewish Tradition

According to Jewish folklore, the sons of God descended around
the Jordan River (Yardane - the place of descent) and on Mount
Hermon. Interestingly, the root word Yar used for Jordan is
the same root word we use for Yared (Jared), Noahs great,

great grandfather. The name Jared means descent, come

down, or to descend. The Book of Enoch also marks this as the
time period that the Grigori started taking women as their
wives.
The early Jews believed them not only to be giants, but also
the offspring of angels and human women. Genesis 6:4 states
that there were Nephilim on the earth before the flood and
after. One of the places the Nephilim were encountered after
the flood was in the Promised Land. The giant stature of the
Nephilim was literal as we see from the report of the ten spies
back to Moses.
And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come
of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers,
and so we were in their sight. Numbers 13:33
Here again in Hebrew the word for giants is Nephilim. They are
referred to as the sons of Anak, also knows as the Anakim.
Their height is implied by the reference to the spies looking
like grasshoppers in their sight. The ten spies were scared and
if the Nephilim were indeed the offspring of angels and humans, the spies had a legitimate fear. Another reference made
to their height can be found in Deuteronomy 3:11 and Amos
2:9:
For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in
Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length
thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a
man. Deuteronomy 3:11
For those that view the reports of the ten spies as imagination,
exaggeration, or figurative have a problem when they reach
the above verse. Cubits are an actual measurement and not a
figure of speech. The common cubit is generally accepted as
eighteen inches, which would make Ogs bed 13 feet long
and 6 feet wide. The royal cubit was considered to be 22 inches, which would have made Ogs bed 16 feet long. This Implies that Og was an extremely large person.
As we covered earlier, the names of people, places, and things
all gave clues to the nature of what was being named. The

term Nephilim was the broad term for these creatures, but
their tribes also had some interesting names.
Emim The fearful ones

Rephaim The dead ones
Anakim The long necked ones
Zamzummim People whos speech sounds like buzzing
These creatures were feared all throughout the world wherever

they appeared. This does not seem consistent with stories of
people suffering from gigantism. Those that suffer from gigantism usually have many physical ailments such as a weak heart
or bone problems. These Nephilim did not seem to suffer from
any of those ailments.
The main reason the Israelites wandered in the desert for forty
years is because of these Nephilim. Ten out of twelve spies
thought they would be killed if they went to fight these things.
Many cultures believed these giants to be very fierce warriors
and in most cases cannibals.
The story of Jack and Beanstalk comes to mind when we mention cannibalistic giants. In the story, the giant chases Jack and
one of the things he says is, Ill grind his bones to make my
bread. He was talking about killing and eating Jack if he
caught him. Did Jack climb up a giant beanstalk and steal a
golden egg laying goose from a giant? Probably not, but the
cannibalism portion is an interesting reference that reflects
one of the beliefs surrounding these giants. It has been said
that in every myth, legend, and story, there is a bit of truth.
What Did They Look Like?

Besides being extremely tall and powerful, the Nephilim had
three other physical features that made them stand out from
normal humans:
Double rows of teeth.

Six fingers on each hand.
Six toes on each foot.
And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of

great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on eve-

ry foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was
born to the giant. 2 Samuel 21:20
Carvings, statues, and legends of the six fingered ones are

present all throughout history. Many cultures believe different
things about the six-fingered ones, but all of them believe that
the origin of the extra four digits is supernatural. This picture
shows a six-fingered stone carving at the ancient site of Palenque in Mexico.

Sumer occupied the area we now call Iraq, which lies in the
Cradle of Civilization. It is the earliest known culture after the
flood. Sumer is also the same civilization that the Epic of Gilgamesh comes from. Not only did they believe in giants, but
they believed that celestial beings could indeed reproduce with
mankind. Sometimes these celestial beings and their offspring
are pictured as having six fingers. Genetic defects in the
Nephilim are not exclusive to the Bible, but seem to occur in
tales of hybrids from all over the world:
Hebrews: Extra fingers and toes

Greeks: One eye (Cyclops)
Lakota Indians: Look like oxen
Seminole: Horrible smell

Now we have an idea of exactly what the Israelites may have

been facing in the Promised Land. These giants had too many
fingers and toes, they were extremely tall, had supernatural
strength, and ate humans. This seemed like Satans perfect
deterrent for keeping the Israelites out of the Promised Land,
and it worked for forty years while the wandered the wilderness because of their disobedience.
How Many Times Did This Happen?

How exactly did these Nephilim end up in the Promised Land
again if they were the result of Seths line mixing with Cains
line? One theory is that another outbreak of the sons of God
taking the daughters of men happened near the area after the
flood. If we examine the Bible closely, not only do we find at
least three outbreaks, but also we learn that it may not have
stopped at all. Contrary to popular belief among some scholars
in this field, the second outbreak does not occur in the Promised Land, but near Sodom and Gomorrah. In Genesis 14:1-9 we
find at least four tribes of Nephilim at war with Chedorlaomer:

Once the Nephilim begin to lose the war, Bera and Bersha, the
kings of Sodom and Gomorrah rush to their aid. This may also
explain why the sin of the angels is constantly associated with
Sodom and Gomorrah in the New Testament. These verses may
also explain part of the reason God wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah. It is possible that their association with the Nephilim
had something to do with their destruction.
When we look at the events before the flood, just after the
flood with Abraham, and in the Promised Land, we can see that
some of the fallen angels attempted at least two times to contaminate the gene pool of mankind. However, there are some
that believe that the fallen angels that did not participate in
the events of Genesis Chapter 6 are too scared to attempt to
create hybrids again because of the punishment passed on the
first group. This is a possible scenario but highly unlikely. These

angels are already destined to burn in the Lake of Fire, so what

do they have to lose by trying again?
Eyewitness Accounts
Even among those that believe in the Nephilim, we sometimes
make the mistake of simply viewing them as some strange
event of the past. However, sightings of giants have continued
all throughout human history. These are just a few of the more
recent sightings of giants.
According to the Cocopa Indian tribe, giants of the past were
able to carry logs that six of the humans failed to budge. Humans can roughly carry twice their body. The average human
weighs 150 pounds (carrying weight of 300 lbs in group) times
six humans, you now have the ability to carry 1,800 pounds.
Now let us take into account that these six humans could not
move the logs, and then they would have weighed well over
1,800 lbs. These giants were carrying 1,800-pound logs with
ease.
In Montana in 1903, Montana, Professor S. Farr unearthed the
skeleton of a man about nine feet long. Next to him laid the
bones of a woman, who had been almost as tall.
Longhaired giants called the Karankawas who occupied territory around Matagorda Bay on the Texas gulf coast, engraved
their bodies tattoos and ate human flesh. The tribe did well
until Stephen Austin built a settlement on the Brazos in 1823.
Conflicts between the settlers and the Indians then became
frequent. John R. Swanton stated, "finally a battle was fought
in which about half the tribe were slain, the other portion
fleeing for refuge to La Bahia."
George W. Hill, M.D., dug out a skeleton "of unusual size" in a
mound of Ashland County, Ohio. In 1879, a nine-foot, eightinch skeleton was excavated from a mound near Brewersville,
Indiana. -A skeleton which is reported to have been of enormous dimensions" was found in a clay coffin, with a sandstone
slab containing hieroglyphics, during mound explorations by a
Dr everhart near Zanesville, Ohio.(American Antiquarian, v3,
1880, pg61)
Ten skeletons "of both sexes and of gigantic size" were taken
from a mound at Warren, Minnesota, 1883. (St. Paul Pioneer

Press, May 23, 1883) -A skeleton 7 feet 6 inches long was
found in a massive stone structure that was likened to a temple chamber within a mound in Kanawha County, West Virginia, in 1884.
In February and June of 1931, large skeletons were found in
the Humboldt lakebed near Lovelock, Nevada. The first of
these two skeletons found measured 8 1/2 feet tall and appeared to have been wrapped in a gum-covered fabric similar
to the Egyptian manner. The second skeleton was almost 10
feet long.
In 1965, a skeleton measuring 8 feet 9 inches was found buried under a rock ledge along the Holly Creek in east-central
Kentucky.2
As we can see, the belief in the existence of giants has not

changed entirely, but there are some that deny that these beings ever existed. Lets take a look at a few of the opposing
theories to the Nephilim.
Other Theories
As we journey through this weird subject, we will find websites, books, and videos that claim the word Nephilim does not
appear in the Bible. They usually reference English translations
that simply have the word giant in place of Nephilim. There
are a few problems if we accept this viewpoint:

Those that hold to this belief struggle to find evidence to support their theory. One such fallacy is that those who believe in
the Nephilim simply made them up in order to support the angel view of Genesis Chapter 6. As stated above, Nephilim is a
Hebrew word that appears in the text, therefore there is no
need to make it up or add it into the scripture. Be very skeptical of anyone teaching that the word Nephilim does not appear
in the Bible. That is someone that has not bothered to dig any
deeper than the English translation of the Bible.

Another theory is that the giants were simply big people. It is

indeed true that these things were huge, but they were not
fully human, as both the Bible and Jewish tradition tells us. We
know that the Nephilim were not simply people suffering from
gigantism. People that suffer from gigantism usually get weaker
as they grow, but the Nephilim seemed to get stronger. There
are many other cultures that believe that half supernatural half
human beings once walked this earth. We just have to be willing to look at all of the evidence and come to our own conclusion.
The Corruption of All Flesh

God mentions that all flesh had corrupted His way on the
earth, but what does that really mean? Something very strange
was going on in this general area to say the least. Some believe
that all of Gods creation was being tampered with on a genetic level. If that turns out to be true, then we should be very
disturbed about what is going on in our time.
Even those that hold the angel view of Genesis Chapter 6 do
not touch upon the following ideas too often. Maybe 15 or 20
years ago, these ideas would have seemed completely impossible and maybe even laughable, but we live in a time where
almost nothing is beyond imagination, which is directly reminiscent of Genesis Chapter 11.
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;
for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God
said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for
the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I
will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:12-13
And all the others together with them took unto themselves
wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go
in unto them and to defile themselves with them . . . And
they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose
height was three thousand ells: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them,
the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And
they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and
fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood.

Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.
Enoch 7:1-6
And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and
everything that walks on the earth - all of them corrupted
their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each
other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually Jubilees 5:2-3
This verse is interesting because the problem seems to extend

beyond just mankind. Before we start into what may have been
going on, lets use the Bible to define exactly what flesh is.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh
of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of
the terrestrial is another. 1 Corinthians 15:39-40
In this verse, Paul mentions five kinds of flesh: Men, land animals, fish, birds, and celestial (from heaven). We know from
science that trees and plants are indeed alive, but they are not
mentioned as having flesh. Why exactly is that important? We
need to figure out if all five types of flesh were present on the
earth in the days of Noah. We know that God created fish,
birds, land animals, and man in Genesis Chapter 1. If the sons
of God were indeed angels, then there would have also been
celestial bodies present on the earth in the days of Noah.
It has been proposed by quite a few people that the activity of
the angels may have extended beyond the human race. Some
people believe it may have been sexual in nature, some believe
it may have been some sort of DNA experimentation, and still
others believe it could have been a combination of both. Lets
examine the first two positions before drawing a conclusion.
If the angels have been messing around with hybridization, as
history suggests, then they would be thousands of years ahead
of us in this technology. Remember, these are fallen angels we
are referring to, so there really is no telling what level of technology they have developed over the last few thousand years.
If religion had not repressed science for almost 700 years, we
would probably be far more advanced than we are now. If an-

gels were indeed living among us, there is nothing to say that
they did not continue developing their technology while we sat
around debating theology. They know God exists, so that is one
conflict they do not have to worry about. According to the Bible, we have not even begun to imagine the things we can do in
heaven, but does that mean there is technology available in
heaven?
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which
God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians
2:9
We are not in possession of any record written by man before

the flood, as far as we know. We only have the stories that
were passed on and written later, but we do have a series of
accounts written by various cultures that claimed to have been
eyewitnesses to some very strange things. People as a whole
have a tendency to dismiss the stories from Sumer and Greece
as nothing more than fairytales, but lets pick apart some elements to these stories and try to understand why they had
knowledge of technology that has just recently become available to human kind.
The Sons of God were sent down to teach mankind truth and
justice; and for three hundred years did indeed teach Cain's
son Enoch all the secrets of Heaven and Earth. Later, however, they lusted after mortal women and defiled themselves by
sexual intercourse. Enoch has recorded not only their divine
instructions, but also their subsequent fall from grace; before
the end they were indiscriminately enjoying virgins, matrons,
men, and beasts.3 Jubilees 4:15, 22, 5:1
This seems to corroborate early Jewish tradition to what Genesis says was going on. It was believed that all flesh had clearly
been corrupted on a genetic level as a result of these sexual
encounters with the sons of God. The mixing that was going on
does not seem to be inter-lineage, but interspecies related.
Earths history is rich with stories of centaurs, fauns,
minotaurs, and various other hybrid creatures. One such creature is the shedu. A shedu has the torso of a man, wings of a

bird, but the body of a bull (lions in some cases), and thankfully the Assyrians, who resided in Mesopotamia, made detailed
carvings of these creatures.
The Shedu is a celestial being from Mesopotamian mythology
(Sumer/Babylon). He is a human above the waist and a bull
below the waist. He also has the horns and the ears of a bull.
The bull man helps people fight evil and chaos. He holds the
gates of dawn open for the sun god Shamash and supports the
sun disc. He is often shown on Cylinder Seals. It appears frequently in Mesopotamian art, sometimes with wings. Statues
of the bull-man were often used as gatekeepers.
In art they were depicted as hybrids, as winged bulls or lions
with the head of a human male (Centauroid). There are still
surviving figures of du in bas-relief and some statues in museums. Notable examples of du/lamassu held by museums
include those at the British Museum, Muse du Louvre, National Museum of Iraq, Metropolitan Museum of Art and one
extremely large example kept at the Oriental Institute, Chi4
cago. They are generally attributed to the ancient Assyrians.
Assyrian Shedu
Perhaps we have become so brainwashed and desensitized to

our world that we do not even notice things that are right in

front of our face. We have one of the largest testimonies to

hybrid creatures, sitting right in Egypt for the world to see.
According to legend, the Sphinx was a lion with the head of a

human; however, it did not possess wings as the shedu did. Although the largest and most famous sphinx is found in Egypt,
the oldest sphinx was found in Gobekli Tepe, Turkey and was
dated to 9,500 B.C.5 Another interesting fact about the sphinx,
is that it did not always have the head of a man. Sometimes
the sphinx had the head of a woman, ram, or eagle. The sphinx
was also not exclusive to Egypt and Turkey, but is also found in
the following cultures:
Greece
Ethiopia
India
Sri Lanka
Thailand
Philippines
Burma
Although the wide spread belief in the sphinx is interesting,

there is an even more interesting discovery that dates back
32,000 years. Lwenmensch, German for lion person, is an
ivory sculpture discovered in 1939. It is the oldest known

zoomorphic statue in existance. The sculpture has the body of

a man and the head of a lion.
What does the Bible have to say about strange lion like beings
with human features? Well surprisingly, the Bible does make
reference to such a being, but does not give any us any details
except that they were Egyptian and killed by one of Davids
men.
And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man,
of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike
men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst
of a pit in time of snow: 2 Samuel 23:20
Take note of how the verse also mentions Benaiah killing lion,
almost as if the writer wants us to realize that they were not
talking about a lion the first instance. Whatever they were,
their description is consistent with the legends from around the
world. Whatever was going on at the time seemed to be very
supernatural in nature. Our modern mind tells us not to believe
in such fantasies and yet we find ourselves watching the skies
for visitors outside of this galaxy that have been accused of
snatching both animals and people for the purpose of experimentation. Are we just adding a modern touch to the same stories that have been passed down for thousands of years? As we
continue our journey, this is just one more question that we
hope to answer. Is it really possible to create a human/animal
hybrid?
Will The Nephilim Return?

According to the book of Enoch, the Watchers that created the
Nephilim were to be bound for 70 generations from the time of
the flood, then judged.
And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjz and his
associates who have united themselves with women so as to
have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness.
And when their sons have slain one another, and they have
seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for
seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of
their judgment and of their consummation, till the judge-

ment that is forever and ever is consummated. Enoch 10:1112
The Bible is very clear that we should not try to set dates for
the Rapture, but the date of the Second Coming is set in Daniel
Chapter 12 (3.5 years after the abomination of desolation). We
know that the Tribulation period lasts seven years and is concluded upon the return of Christ to earth. Because a specific
seven-year period is given, we have a timeframe with which to
reference when Christs return is nearing. Using Enochs decree
of 70 generations, we can get a general timeframe in which
these things are set to occur. However, this timeframe is useless for setting a date for the Rapture. People differ as to
whether a Biblical generation is 40 years or 70 years, but 70
years seems to be more accurate because the number 40 seems
to consistently be a time of testing and not the human lifespan.
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by
reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their
strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly
away. Psalm 90:10
In order to figure out how long of a time frame Enoch was giving us until the end, we need to multiply 70 x 70 to get 4,900
years. If the flood did indeed occur between 2880 2900 BC,
that would put the time of judgment for these angels around
2000 2020 A.D. There is another calculation that also gives us
a very close timeframe to that of Enoch.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all
these things be fulfilled. Matthew 24:34
Jesus was referencing the last generation on earth when He

stated that it would not pass until all the signs were fulfilled. It
is no secret that many people believe we are living in the last
days, but why is that? It is largely based on Matthew Chapter
24. If we calculate the start of the signs with the re-emergence
of Israel as a nation in 1948 and add 70 years, we end up with a
date of 2018, which is amazingly close to what Enoch predicted. Again, the exact date of the flood is not known, so it is possible that both Enoch and Jesus were talking about the same
time frame. If we consider the possibility of an 80 year generation as mentioned in Psalms, Jesus prophecy would give us a

timeframe of 2018 2028 for the time of the judgment. Again,

these are not dates for the Rapture, but dates pointing to when
the end of the age may begin or end. We will only know for
sure when the Antichrist signs or enforces the peace treaty
with Israel. The enforcing of the peace treaty will initiate the
countdown of the last seven years of history, as we know it.
Because the Book of Enoch is not part of the American canonized Bible, it is not officially considered to be inspired, but it is
part of the Ethiopian canonized Bible. There could be something very important to the proximity of the dates or it could
just be a very strange coincidence. The latter is highly unlikely.
If both Enoch and Jesus are speaking about the same time period, things are about to get very strange. Jesus said that mens
hearts would fail them for fear from seeing those things that
are coming on the earth. He could have been talking about
something much deeper than most of us care to imagine. We
will talk a lot more about the Olivet Discourse in Chapter 10.
The Breakdown
Do you remember when you were a child and you could enjoy
the stories of giants and imagine what it would be like to live in
that kind of world? Lets assume that angels did not come down
and mess around with human and animal DNA, we then have to
account for all the other stories that say something strange
happened. We have the Mayan, Sumerian, Hebrew, Greek, Hindu, and Native American legends that tell us that beings came
from the sky and started doing things out of the ordinary.
If someone somewhere discovered absolute proof of a hybrid
animal, could we actually rely on the governments of the world
to share this information? More than likely, the answer is no.
There have been numerous reports of giant skeletons being discovered all over the world, but how many are on display for us
to see? Almost as numerous as the stories of these discoveries,
are the stories of findings being confiscated and people being
told not to talk about it. Why exactly is our human history being covered up? Is it because there is a sinister power behind
those that appear to be in power? What if we knew the true
intentions of these beings that ancients claim enslaved mankind? Would we fight back or would we conform?

Giants appear in almost every culture on earth and stories of

giants are just as common as stories of the Great Flood. In this
chapter, we will cover some of the more familiar giants
throughout history and address the possibility that a few mythological characters might not be so mythological. The Bible
does not give us much information on the giants before the
flood, but it provides extensive records on them after the
flood, so lets begin just after the flood of Noah.

And Also After That

In the last chapter we explored what the Nephilim are and
touched briefly on the corruption of all flesh, but when did this
corruption start? If we accept the proposed date of the flood to
be around 2900 B.C., it is possible for us to track the first incursion to within a few hundred years. According to tradition,
the Watchers fell in the days of Jared. Using a timeline of
births and deaths for the antediluvians (those that lived before
the flood), we can back into a pretty close date. According to
the book of Enoch, Lamech was worried that Noah may have
been the offspring of one of the angels. Using these two references, we can place the descent of the angels between the
birth of Jared and the birth of Noah. Jared was born 460 years
after Adam was created and Noah was born 1056 years after
Adam was created, giving us a 596-year time frame in which
the Watchers possibly fell. If we convert that into our time, the
Watchers fell around 3,500 B.C. - 4,096 B.C.
Why exactly is this important? It is important for two reasons.
The first being that these events happened about 460 years
after Adam was created, dating the creation of life (not necessarily the earth) circa 4,556 B.C. The second reason is to show
that it is entirely possible that without Gods intervention
through the flood, these angels could have completely contaminated and possibly wiped out genetically pure human beings.
Between the first possible incident and the flood, the angels
had approximately 1,196 years to contaminate the human race.
A major problem for those that support the Lines of Seth theory
is that the Nephilim appear again after the flood even though
all but eight people died during the flood. The Bible is clear
that these unnatural offspring somehow re-emerged on the
earth even after being wiped out, but how did that happen?
Giants Throughout History

Genesis Chapter 6 may be hard for some Christians to wrap
their brain around, but almost every culture on the planet
holds a belief in giants. If giants never existed, why did so
many people believe in them? If they did exist, why do we not

believe in them now? Some try to explain away giants as large

people, or say that people were much smaller in the past, so
they considered tall people giants. However, those theories do
not explain several things:
The exact height of the giants is given in several cultures.

They were capable of performing tasks that normal
humans could not
They usually had some supernatural ability associated
with them.
Even if we choose to accept that people were a lot smaller in

the past, we are still left with the problem of their strength.
Height does not necessarily equate to being stronger. Their
stature also does not explain their supernatural abilities, such
as invincibility, speed, strength, and various other attributes. If
giants actually existed, we would expect to see quite a few
historical references and eyewitness accounts of them. The
Bible is the most reliable source when it comes to spiritual
matters, so lets start with the Bible and work our way through
a few other cultures.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after
that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of
men, and they bare children to them, the same became
mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Genesis
6:4
Genesis tells us that these giants were on the earth during the
time of Noah and also after that. The same sentence also tells
us that these same giants were mighty men and men of renown. The first characteristic we see in the Bible is the word
mighty which refers to their strength. The next reference we
encounter is men of renown. In Hebrew that word is Hag
Gibborim, meaning, Hero, Chief Man, Legendary, and
Famous.
The Greeks referred to the demigods (half celestial/half terrestrial) as Heroes. Hercules has had plenty of movies and T.V.
shows, and Achilles has had at least one blockbuster movie. If
we mention Hercules to anyone in North America, they will
immediately know who we are referring to. According to the
Greeks, Hercules was one of these hybrids. The same can be

said of Achilles, Gilgamesh, and the other hybrids from various

other cultures. They are legendary and their names still live
on. Here are the names of a few cultures and their giants:
Jewish Nephilim, Anakim, Emim, Rephaim

Greek Gigantes, Titans
Celtic Fomorians
Norse Jotuns
Roman Catholic St. Christopher
Paiute Indians - Si-Te-Cah
Mayan Zipacna
Each of these cultures has their own heroes within the giant
tribes they believe in. Because the focus of this book is centered on the Bible, we will focus mostly on the Nephilim,
Anakim, Emim, Rephaim, and Gigantes. Gigantes appears in the
group because that is where we get the English word giant. It
is also important because it is the same word used in the Greek
version of the Bible, called the Septuagent (LXX).
These giants denied the existence of a Great Spirit, so he
caused a great rain storm to come, and the water kept rising
higher and higher so that it drove these proud, and conceited
giants from the low ground to the hills, and thence to the
mountains, but at last even the mountain tops were submerged and then those mammoth men were all drowned. After the flood had subsided, the Great Spirit came to the conclusion that he had made man too large and powerful, and
that he would therefore, correct the mistake by creating a
race of men of smaller size and less strength. This is the reason, say the Indians, that modern men are small and not like
the giants of old, and they claim that this story is a matter of
Indian history, which has been handed down among them
from time immemorial. The Autobiography of Buffalo Bill
Interestingly, the above story is confirmed by the Bible in Genesis Chapter 7. Genesis 7:20 tells us that the water rose fifteen
cubits above the mountain tops. That comes out to 22.5 feet
high. The reason for this is not immediately clear in the Bible,
but as we continue our journey, we will come to realize that
God did not want any of these hybrids to survive. While some
consider the Biblical information on giants to be sparse, the
Bible does list the names of quite a few giants:

The Bible is clear that these men were descendants of the

Nephilim, which was translated to giants in English. When we
fully understand what was going on in the days of Noah and
also after that, certain parts of the Bible begin to make a lot
more sense.
Every Man, Woman, and Child Must Die

Something in the Bible that seems very barbaric and unloving to
many people are Gods commands to wipe out every man,
woman, child, and animal in certain areas. When we study these commands in relation to Noah, we realize that God was attempting to once again contain the situation and keep all flesh
from being corrupted.
In Numbers Chapter 21 we find that Moses and the army of Israel kills every man, woman, and child of the Amorites. This
was one of the tribes the descended from the Nephilim. In 1
Samuel 27 we find that David kills every man and woman of the
Amalekites and a few other tribes. These were the same tribes
God told Saul to wipe out, but Saul disobeyed by taking the
spoils of war. The Amalekites were another tribe that descended from the Nephilim. These are just a couple of examples of
why God called for the genocide of entire groups of people.
They were the same type of hybrids that moved Him to destroy
the world in Noahs day. God was once again attempting to
save humanity from genetic corruption.
The Rephaim

The word Rephaim appears quite frequently in the Bible. The

word means, the ghosts, dead ones, or the shades. There are
some Christians that do not believe the Rephaim were anything
more than giant humans, but according to the Bible, they were
much more. The Rephaim were the second outbreak of the
Nephilim. If we embark on a study of the Rephaim, we will run
into websites and books that claim the Bible uses this word in
place of the word Nephilim, which is not true at all. Both the
word Nephilim and Rephaim are used to describe the same supernatural beings. This is not always apparent in the English
text, but the NIV does do a good job of leaving these words untranslated. Everyone should own a copy of the NIV for the sole
purpose of seeing which words are used in which verses. Using
both the NIV and KJV will help you avoid much of the false information that is being circulated by those that hold to the
Lines of Seth Theory. Because the Rephaim were a tribe of the
Nephilim, we will find those that deny the word Nephilim even
exists, and will replace it with the word Rephaim in order to
support their view. We must use the Bible as a reference before believing anything we read.
There were multiple tribes of Nephilim, but they all fall under
the era of the Rephaim, the second wave of the Nephilim on
earth. Those that believe in multiple incursions by the fallen
angels usually put the second wave in Canaan just before the
Hebrews reached the Promised Land. However, the Bible actually places their second incursion very soon after the flood.
And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar,
Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal
king of nations; hat these made war with Bera king of Sodom,
and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and
Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is
Zoar. All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim,
which is the salt sea. Twelve years they served
Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. And
in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings
that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth
Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh
Kiriathaim, And the Horites in their mount Seir, unto Elparan,
which is by the wilderness. And they returned, and came to
Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the

We can clearly see that several tribes of Nephilim were involved in the war that took place in Abrahams day. The tribes
included the Rephaim, Zuzims, Emims, and Amalekites. These
tribes were not completely wiped out in the war and continued
at least until the reign of king David. Some people trace the
Amalekites to Esau, however Nachmanides believed that Esaus
grandson was named after the land in which he resided, which
was not unusual. The Bible is also clear that the Amalekites
were present at least two generations before Esau. The Amalekites very existence angered God to the point that he ordered
Saul to wipe them out. Saul does not obey and keeps king Agag
alive against Gods will. Because of his disobedience, Saul is
later replaced by David as king of Israel.
The Anakim
In Numbers Chapter 13, Moses sends twelve spies into Canaan
to spy out the land for their upcoming military mission. Two of
these spies were Jehoshua (Joshua) from the tribe of Ephraim,
and Caleb from the tribe of Judah. The spies were gone for forty days and returned with super sized grapes and a good report
of the land, but their report of the people that dwelled in the
land is what discouraged the people of Israel.
Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land,
and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we
saw the children of Anak there. Numbers 13:28
Their report is strange because they were not concerned about

the defenses of the city, but mainly the inhabitants. The word
moreover means more importantly. They were less concerned about the high walls than the children of Anak. The
Anakim (children of Anak) were a race of giants that the Hebrews believed were descended from the Nephilim. Their fear
of the Nephilim overcame their faith in God, but Joshua and
Caleb remained faithful and wanted to take the land. Also keep
in mind that the Israelites already knew who the Anakim were
before they went into the land. Once again we encounter legendary hybrids.

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us
go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not
able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than
we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they
had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land,
through which we have gone to search it, is a land that
eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we
saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the
giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we
were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in
their sight. Numbers 13:30-33
One of the first things we see is a reference to cannibalism in

the land followed by a reference to the Nephilim. Some people
try to allegorize or symbolize this passage and say that the Israelites were just afraid, which is true, but there is more to it
than that. They were talking about literal giants. Notice that
they refer to every man in the land being men of great stature and that they seemed like grasshoppers compared to the
sons of Anak. In the Hebrew, the word used in place of giants is
Nephilim once again. There we saw the Nephilim, the sons of
Anak is what the text actually says. If the Anakim really existed, we should find some kind of proof that there was a giant
race of supernatural hybrids roaming the earth. Interestingly
enough, that is exactly what we find when we start to study
the scripture and history more closely.
Anak was the son of the giant Arba (Joshua 15:13). The City of
Arba was named after this giant, but we know it as Hebron.
Anak had at least three sons, Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai
(Joshua 15:14), whom Joshua and Caleb eventually kill. However, the text is not clear whether or not there were more
Anakim than these three. If these were the only three Anakim
that they saw in the land, that should tell us how fearsome
these beings were. Although the Amalekits, Hittites, Jebusites,
Amorites, and the Canaanites dwelled in the land, their main
concern seemed to be the sons of Anak.
The Anakim were just one of a few tribes of Nephilim in the
area. There were also the Emim, Zamzummim, and the
Rephaim. These Nephilim inhabited the areas of Hebron, Bashan, Argob, Ashteroth, Edrei, and several other places. Collectively these were referred to as the Valley of the Giants. In

order to begin our historical search, we need to understand

where these places are. Bashan is currently known as Golan and
Hebron is currently known as the West Bank, which are both
located in the Middle East.
According to Deuteronomy 3:13, Bashan was called the land of
the giants. If we research the area, we will run across a structure known as Gilgal Refaim. This structure is made of megalithic stones weighing a total of 37,500 metric tons stacked 8ft.
high, with a diameter of 520 ft., and a 15ft. high tumulus
(tomb) in the center. A tumulus is a mound raised over a grave
or graves. The best way to observe Gilgal Rephaim is by being
very tall or being airborne. It is fascinating that there is a giant
burial mound in the middle of Golan, just where the Bible says
there were giants living.
Gilgal Refaim
Although Gilgal Refaim may provide evidence of Biblical giants,

an archaeological team has never excavated it. As we continue,
we will learn about a few more structures that were attributed
to the giants.
Og King Of Bashan
Other than Goliath, Og is the only other giant in the Bible that
has an exact measurement associated with his height. Accord-

ing to Deuteronomy 3:11, his bedstead was found in Rabbath,

where the children of Ammon lived.
For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in
Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length
thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a
man.For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of

Ogs bed was nine cubits (13.5ft.) long and four cubits (6ft.)
wide. That is an extremely large bed, which suggests that Og
was 12.5 to 13 feet tall. Og was killed at the battle of Edrei by
Israel, under the leadership of Moses (Joshua 13:12).
The Gigantes
Gigantes is the Greek word used in place of the Hebrew word
Nephilim in the Septuagint version of Genesis 6:4. The word
Gigantes means the earthborn. According to Greek legend,
the Gigantes were a race of giants that rebelled against the
gods. The story states that Zeus and the other Olympians, with
the help of Heracles, managed to defeat the Gigantes and cast
them into Tartarus. Tartarus was considered to be an outer
darkness, gloomy place, or pit of judgment, but it was not the
traditional hell we think of. The Greeks considered Tartarus to
be as far below hell as earth is below heaven. The word
Tartarus is only used once in the Bible, but look at what it is
used in reference to:
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them
down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to
be reserved unto judgment - 2 Peter 2:4
The KJV uses the word hell, but the Greek word used here is
Tartarus. Again, it is the only reference to Tartarus in the entire Bible. According to the Greeks, Tartarus is worse than hell
and is where spirits are tormented. There is something else
that adds credibility to part of the Greek story. Strangely, this
insight comes from a question asked by a demon.

And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do
with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to
torment us before the time? Matthew 8:29
If we put everything together, we have a reference to sinful

angels being cast into a dark, gloomy, place of torment below
hell and demons that do not want to go there. If the demons
are indeed the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim, then there
may be some credibility to bits and pieces of the Greek story of
the Gigantes being bound in a place of torment. Again, there is
a little bit of truth in all stories if we are willing to seek it out.
Later, in Revelation Chapter 9, there is a demonic horde released from the abyss, which some people believe to be the
same as Tartarus.
Fomorians
The Fomorians were a legendary race of demonic giants that
allegedly dwelled in Ireland. They were viewed mostly as evil
pirates that would take what they wanted.1 There is another
race of giants in Manx tradition called the Foawr, which are
believed to be stone throwing giants associated with the
Fomorians. As we can clearly see, stories of giants are not exclusive to the Bible, but can be found in many cultures all over
the world. These giants may also provide an explanation as to
who built some of the megalithic structures around the world.
The Breakdown
All over the world we find megalithic structures and legends of
giants to go right along with them. What is the truth behind the
construction of these monuments and will we ever find it? We
may never get the full story, but what we do know is that the
explanations put forth by modern science are nothing more
than fairy tales designed to steer us away from the truth.

All over the world archaeologists are discovering structures
that defy the technology and perceived know how of the time
period. The commonly accepted explanations of thousands of
workers using ramps and pulleys seem absurd once we begin
digging into just how megalithic some of these structures were.
Modern man, as recent as the last twenty years, became capable of moving some of these stone blocks. What we find when
we dig into the history, myths, and legends surrounding some
of these sites, is that they tell us a completely different story
than the mainstream media would like us to believe.
Gobekli Tepe
Gobekli Tepe is believed to be almost 12,000 years old, and
pre-dates any civilization found on earth by several thousand
years. When found, it appeared to be deliberately buried in
sand, for reasons unknown.1 Gbekli Tepe is the oldest humanmade structure yet discovered.2 The site is located on a hilltop,
and contains 20 round, subterranean structures. Each building
has a diameter of 10-30 meters, and is decorated with massive
T-shaped limestone pillars. Each pillar is around eight feet tall,
and weighs up to seven tons. The limestone slabs were quarried
from bedrock pits located around 100 meters from the hilltop,
with neolithic workers presumably using flint tools to carve the
bedrock. However, no tools have been found at the site or the
quarry.

The Ruins of Baalbek

Baalbek is probably one of the most massive sites on the planet. It consisted of three temples dedicated to the worship of
Venus, Bacchus, and Jupiter. Here are a few quick facts about
Baalbek:
The walls are built with 24 stones, each weighing

approximately 300 tons.
The largest retaining wall consists of 3 stones, each
weighing approximately 750 tons.3
The stone of the pregnant woman weighs an estimated 1,069 tons.
The largest stone weighs approximately 1,322 tons.
As we can see from the numbers, this structure is massive to

say the least. The prevailing theory is that Roman cranes were
used to build Baalbek, but that also does not appear to be very
logical. The current estimation is that each Roman crane could
lift about 7.5 tons.4

If we examine the picture, we notice a tiny black speck near

the second to last column on the left. That is a man wearing a
white shirt and black pants. We can clearly see that Baalbek
exceeds the technology that was available at the time, but we
are expected to believe that ancient man built this monument
with primitive cranes and pulleys.

Stonehenge
Traditionally, Stonehenge is believed to have been created by
the Druids. The Druids were a group of Celtic priests that were
believed to have participated in human sacrifices. The connection between Druids and human sacrifice is established in the
writing of no less than four historical people:

Diodorus Siculus believed that the Druids were making sacrifices to Teutates (Celtic god of tribes), Esus (Gaulish god of the
woods), and Taranis (Celtic god of thunder).
These men predict the future by observing the flight and
calls of birds and by the sacrifice of holy animals: all orders
of society are in their power... and in very important matters
they prepare a human victim, plunging a dagger into his
chest; by observing the way his limbs convulse as he falls and
the gushing of his blood, they are able to read the future."

Many believe that these ritual sacrifices took place at Stonehenge which is also believed to be a huge celestial calendar.
While we do not know exactly what Stonehenge was used for,
its connection with human sacrifice points us toward the ancient practice of summoning the gods.

There is no shortage to the list of megalithic structures that

appear around the world. Science has made many unfounded
claims and many unsuccessful attempts to prove how these
structures were built in the past. Because of this, many people
have started to go back and reconsider the ancient stories of
the gods passing down knowledge and technology to mankind,
which enabled them to accomplish tasks that seem impossible
for the time period and level of technology. One result of this
interaction between mankind and the gods is believed to be
ancient mans knowledge of the stars.
The Martian Monuments

In 1976, an area of Mars known as Cydonia was photographed
and what appeared there was what many believe to be a monument that resembles a face. While the anomaly itself is the
subject of much debate, it has never been debunked scientifically. There are some that believe it is the work of a lost civilization that once inhabited mars, and others believe that it is
left over proof from an angelic civilization that inhabited the
universe prior to the events in Genesis 1:2.

In addition to the above highly controversial picture, there

are other structures that appear on mars that many believe
resemble the design of Old Testament altars and Egyptian pyramids. These structures could simply be landscape anomalies or
they could be part of a bigger deception.
The Ancient Calendars

All over the world we find calendars that display an uncanny
accuracy and far exceed the knowledge believed to have been
available to ancient civilizations. The following calendars are
just a few examples:
Mayan Calendar (South America)

Phoenix Calendar (Africa)
Kali Yuga (India)
The above list is best known because of the date at which all of
them point to as a major transformation for mankind and the
return of the gods of mythology. That date is 2012, and it has
been highly commercialized by the media to the point that it
no longer resembles what is actually reflected in these calen-

dars. The subject of 2012 is discussed in detail in my book, As

The Days of Noah Were.
One very interesting culture is the Dogon tribe of Mali because

of how primitive they were, their knowledge of the stars, and
how they came to possess this knowledge. According to the
Dogon, fishlike gods called the Nommo brought them
knowledge about the stars. It is important to point out that like
most beliefs, even though the Nommo were considered to be
gods, they had a creator (Amma) and were not all powerful.
According to the Dogon, the Nommo gave them extensive
knowledge about the Sirius star system, which was not confirmed until the mid 1800s. The simple fact is that this
knowledge of the stars had to come from somewhere and the
Dogon testimony is the exact same testimony that we find in
the book of Enoch, Greece, Rome, Hopi, India, China, Russia,
Norse, Celtic, and other diverse cultures from around the
world.
From a Biblical perspective, there are only two other groups
that could have access to this type of knowledge: God and the
angels. According to all of the ancient accounts it was the cre-

ated gods that came down and passed along this information.
These were likely fallen angels interfering in the affairs of
mankind in order to set the stage for a much bigger deception
that we will discuss in the next chapter.
Human Sacrifice & Forbidden Knowledge

In ancient times, it was believed that one of the ways to summon information from the gods or to get the gods themselves
to appear was by spilling human blood. We find this practice in
the Bible and in other cultures as well.
Ammon
Moab
Mayan
Babylon
Aztec
Greece
This practice continued on throughout history into one of the

most widely known atrocities to ever happen. Many people are
familiar with WWII, Hitler, and the Holocaust, but not many
people realize what was going on was spiritual in nature. The
Nazis were very much into occult magic and UFOs. In fact, Project Paperclip is a now very well known attempt by the Nazis to
develop what we would call a UFO. The picture below is believed to be from released Nazi documents of a top secret craft
known as Haunebu II.

This craft was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the
Nazis. Rumor has it that they were attempting to open a portal
into the spirit realm, which is depicted in the opening scenes of
the movie Hellboy. Perhaps the most widely known belief of
Hitler was the arrival of a master race he called the 4 th Reich.
This is widely taught in schools, but what is not taught is that
he believed this was a race of ancient god/men hybrids that
would return some day. Hitlers goal was to expedite their return through mass human sacrifice, which is what the Holocaust
was. Hitler officially began his extermination camps in July
1942. These were different than the concentration and forced
labor camps in that people were being placed in huge ovens
and burned alive. This practice was much like the one God
condemned in the Old Testament worship of Molech.5
In November 1944 strange craft suddenly appeared all over
the place. The Nazis thought they belonged to the Americans
and the Americans thought they belonged to the opposing side.
Michael D. Swords said the following:
During WWII, the foo fighter experiences of [Allied] pilots
were taken very seriously. Accounts of these cases were pre5

sented to heavyweight scientists, such as David Griggs, Luis
Alvarez and H.P. Robertson. The phenomenon was never explained. Most of the information about the issue has never

been released by military intelligence."
According to some of the pilots, these Foo Fighters were fast

moving, round, glowing balls of light that followed their fighters over Germany. Some of the fighters reported being toyed
with by these balls of light and afterward that lights would
simply vanish. These are not the reports of civilians on the
ground seeing strange military lights. These reports came from
trained Air Force pilots that knew something out of the ordinary was happening. What they may have encountered were
the merkabah being guided by fallen angels.
The Legacy of Human Sacrifice

How do you get people to voluntarily sacrifice their children in
a modern world? You rewrap the old concept of Eugenics as
Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned
Parenthood, held many of Hitlers beliefs, including a belief in
Eugenics. Eugenics is the belief that only the smartest, wealthiest, and genetically pure people should be allowed to reproduce. The belief also teaches that the poor and genetically imperfect should be sterilized or encouraged to abort their unborn children. Andrew Hoffman wrote a very thorough book on
Eugenics and how it ties in to the end time scenario and spiritual deception. His book is called, The NWO and The Eugenics
Wars. It is highly recommended for anyone that wants to know
what Eugenics is all about.
When Hitlers ovens started sacrificing millions of Jews, the
Foo Fighters showed up in mass shortly after. In our modern
times UFO sightings are on the rise and the number of abortions

worldwide are estimated to be 42 million per year.7 To put this

in perspective, there are an estimated 205 million pregnancies
per year. Roughly 1/5 of those children are being exterminated
before birth. The fetuses that are not used in stem cell research are then incinerated by medical professionals. This
practice of burning children ties directly back to the Old Testament.
And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass
through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and
sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 2 Kings 17:17
There are many people that recognize this practice for exactly
what it is. The scientific response was to redefine what it
means to be alive so that people would not view abortion as
murder. Hitler sacrificed roughly 6,000,000 people during a
period of three years, not counting the ones that died from the
concentration camp conditions. If his sacrifice of nearly
6,000,000 people heralded the arrival of the Foo Fighters, is it
a coincidence that we currently kill 42,000,000 unborn children
per year and UFO sightings have increased since the 1940s? In
the Old Testament, this same practice of child sacrifice was
addressed in the book of Psalms.
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and
of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of
Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were
they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with
their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD
kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his
own inheritance. Psalm 106:37-40
The abortion issue in America is not just a right vs. left or a

right vs. wrong issue, it is an issue of continuing pagan rituals
designed to worship demons and provoke God to anger. It was

also through these human sacrifices that many cultures claim

to have obtained various aspects of their knowledge and technology.
Heavenly Beings and Human Technology

According to the Greeks, Prometheus was a very intelligent and
deceptive god (titan). Against the will of Zeus (the supreme
god of the Greeks), he stole fire and gave it to men. Because
he did this, mankind learned war and as a punishment Zeus
chained him to a mountain where a giant eagle would eat his
liver every day. Although the story of Prometheus is very well
known to those that study Greek mythology, there are other
stories from around the world that suggest at some point, a
celestial being gave men fire in violation of a divine command.
Here are just a few of the cultures from around the world that
speak of beings giving the technology of fire making to man:

Book of Enoch Fallen angels and Azazel
If we look at the last example, the book of Enoch pops up

again. This time the event is credited to fallen angels, and one
specifically by the name of Azazel. The Book of Enoch also says
that these angels taught men how to use tools, perform sorcery, and make weapons. That is another technology that men
did not have at the time, according to the Book of Enoch. Also
notice that instead of calling them gods, the writer of the Book
of Enoch is referring to them as fallen angels. A recurring
theme throughout the book is different groups of people talking
about similar events, but interpreting what these beings are
based on what they believe.
We will begin our dissection of the Prometheus story by looking
at his name. In both Greek and Hebrew, names meant something and described the character of the person. Prometheus

means forethought, which would suggest that he was a planner. His disobedience was a planned event, but was it for the
purpose of bettering mankind or getting mankind to destroy
itself? The underlying theme to these stories represents a huge
leap in technology. The gods/angels had the technology to
master fire, and according the myths and legends, humans did
not. They shared their technology with mankind, which resulted in a more destructive behavior. Advanced beings giving
mankind technology that is way beyond their understanding is a
recurring theme in Sci-Fi series and movies, and it usually leads
to some catastrophe on earth. The majority of modern day SciFi concepts can be found by simply learning what ancient cultures believed. Another clue to the technology associated with
Prometheus can be found in our own modern culture. Here are
just a few of the clubs, organizations, and businesses that are
associated with the name Prometheus.
Prometheus Society High IQ Society 600 times more selective than Mensa.
Prometea A cloned horse born May 28, 2003. The name
comes from Prometheus.
Prometheus Books A company that publishes scientific,
educational, and popular books.
Prometheus Therapeutics and Diagnostics A professional
pharmaceutical company located in San Diego, CA.
All of these examples show the name Prometheus being associated with knowledge and technology. If we examine the list
carefully, we notice that these technologies are not just any
technologies, but biology specific, dealing with life on a genetic (DNA) level. An angel named Prometheus may or may not
exist, but people all around the world believed something gave
them advanced technology at some point in our past. There are
three other stories that should also catch our attention when it
comes to advanced ancient technology.
The Tower of Babel

The Lost City of Atlantis
Mahabharata
And Azzl taught men to make swords, and knives, and

shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets,

and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying
of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring
tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became
corrupt in all their ways. Semjz taught enchantments, and
root-cuttings, Armrs the resolving of enchantments,
Barqjl, taught astrology, Kkabl the constellations,
Ezql the knowledge of the clouds, Araqil the signs of the
earth, Shamsil the signs of the sun, and Saril the course of
the moon. Enoch 8:1-3
The story of Atlantis speaks of a very advanced race of people

that built a super weapon. Depending on which version of the
story we read, it was destroyed by this weapon or some other
kind of disaster. The people that escaped the city then migrated to different parts of the world. An interesting set of hieroglyphics found in Egypt depicts what seem to be airplanes and
helicopters. How did the Egyptians develop knowledge of flying
machines over 3,000 years ago?
Finally we get to the Mahabharata, which is dated around 6,500
B.C. It is probably the strangest story of all the ancient stories
about technology because of its mention of nuclear weapons.
Google ancient nuclear war and this excerpt from the story
will pop up:
A single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe. An incandescent column of smoke and flame As bright
as the thousand suns Rose in all its splendor... a perpendicular explosion with its billowing smoke clouds... the cloud of
smoke rising after its first explosion formed into expanding
round circles like the opening of giant parasols... it was an
unknown weapon, An iron thunderbolt, A gigantic messenger
of death, Which reduced to ashes The entire race of the
Vrishnis and the Andhakas. ...The corpses were so burned As
to be unrecognizable. The hair and nails fell out; Pottery
broke without apparent cause, and the birds turned white.
After a few hours All foodstuffs were infected... ...to escape
from this fire the soldiers threw themselves in streams to
wash themselves and their equipment.8

The Breakdown
History is full of examples of technology that came from the
heavens. Could these stories have been influenced by fallen
angels interacting with mankind? The evidence points to this
being exactly what happened. As humans we like to believe
that we are the most advanced civilization in history, but if we
look at the ancient myths and legends, there were other cultures that claim to witness the same technologies that we posses currently. When we look around at the technology available
to us today, we need to be aware that its source may not be
entirely of human origin.

A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit
human-animal hybrids.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of
Representatives of the United States of
America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

Appendix A
This Act may be cited as the `HumanAnimal Hybrid Prohibition Act of 2009'.
SEC. 2. FINDINGS.
Congress finds that-(1) advances in research and
technology have made possible the
creation of human-animal hybrids;
(2) human-animal hybrids are
grossly unethical because they blur
the line between human and animal,
male and female, parent and child,
and one individual and another
individual;
(3) human dignity and the integrity
of the human species are
compromised by human-animal
hybrids;
(4) the uniqueness of individual
human beings is manifested in a
particular way through their brain
and their reproductive organs/cells;
and
(5) with an increase in emerging
zoonotic infection threatening the
global public health, human-animal
hybrids present a particularly
optimal means of genetic transfers
that could increase the efficiency or
virulence of diseases threatening
both humans and animals.
SEC. 3. PROHIBITION ON HUMANANIMAL HYBRIDS.
Appendix A
Part I of title 18, United States Code, is

amended by inserting after chapter 51 the
following:
`CHAPTER 52--HUMAN-ANIMAL
HYBRIDS
`Sec.
`1131. Definitions.
`1132. Prohibition on human-animal
hybrids.
`Sec. 1131. Definitions

`In this chapter the following definitions
apply:
`(1) HUMAN-ANIMAL HYBRID- The
term `human-animal hybrid' means`(A) a human embryo into
which a non-human cell or
cells (or the component parts
thereof) have been introduced
to render the embryo's
membership in the species
Homo sapiens uncertain;
`(B) a hybrid human/animal
embryo produced by
fertilizing a human egg with
non-human sperm;
`(C) a hybrid human/animal
embryo produced by
fertilizing a non-human egg
with human sperm;
`(D) an embryo produced by
introducing a non-human
nucleus into a human egg;

`(E) an embryo produced by

introducing a human nucleus
into a non-human egg;
`(F) an embryo containing at
least haploid sets of
chromosomes from both a
human and a non-human life
form;
`(G) a non-human life form
engineered such that human
gametes develop within the
body of a non-human life
form; or
`(H) a non-human life form
engineered such that it
contains a human brain or a
brain derived wholly or
predominantly from human
neural tissues.
`(2) HUMAN EMBRYO- The term
`human embryo' means an
organism of the species Homo
sapiens during the earliest stages of
development, from 1 cell up to 8
weeks.
`Sec. 1132. Prohibition on human-animal

hybrids
`(a) In General- It shall be unlawful for
any person to knowingly, in or otherwise
affecting interstate commerce-`(1) create or attempt to create a
human-animal hybrid;
`(2) transfer or attempt to transfer
a human embryo into a non-human
womb;

`(3) transfer or attempt to transfer

a non-human embryo into a human
womb; or
`(4) transport or receive for any
purpose a human-animal hybrid.
`(b) Penalties`(1) IN GENERAL- Whoever violates
subsection (a) shall be fined under
this title, imprisoned not more than
10 years, or both.
`(2) CIVIL PENALTY- Whoever
violates subsection (a) and derives
pecuniary gain from such violation
shall be subject to a civil fine of the
greater of $1,000,000 and an
amount equal to the amount of the
gross gain multiplied by 2.'.
SEC. 4. TECHNICAL AMENDMENT.

The table of chapters for part I of title 18,
United States Code, is amended by
inserting after the item relating to chapter
51 the following:
1131'.
